i dont know what form it will take, or if it will even be the same actor, but Id be surprised if they dont include Bullseye somehow. There arent a ton of iconic DD-specific villains to use.

Yeah the only one that immediately comes to mind is Typhoid Mary but I remember seeing that name pop up in one of the other Marvel series I didn't watch. I guess The Enforcers are an option, or the classic "crime families battling over the vacancy left by Kingpin". The Rose was one but they'd probably need to change his identity unless they do some retconning.

....could they do The Hood? is he still a thing or was that really just a mid/late 2000s thing?

Ideally no Hand for season 4 but they didn't show up in season 3 so who knows...and Kingpin getting season 2 treatment, for sure.

A version of Typhoid Mary was in Iron Fist, but maybe they just retcon that out of existence at this point? I didnt see it, but she was only in season 2, so it was after Defenders and wouldnt have any effect on DD, Jessica, or Luke Cages canon to just pretend it didnt happen.

I think I saw a rumor about The Hood showing up in some other project, but thats a character that could reasonably appear in multiple things.

just googled daredevil villains and theres a bunch of articles that are like top ten daredevil villains, and a bunch of the characters are shared with other heroes. Like Purple Man and Nuke both appear a lot, but Jessica Jones used both of them. Also apparently he had a good storyline with Mysterio at one point which obviously cant work.

so uh... best candidates seem like The Owl (who was sort of already in the Daredevil show, but maybe they make the a more comic-accurate character that guys son), or a Typhoid Mary

oh I was dismissing The Owl because of S1 but you're right - and he even had a line back then about wanting to visit his son. Heck that could even fit into a "battle to be the new Kingpin" storyline as one of the challengers, in addition to being a worthwhile standalone villain. I like it!

Bale is one of my favorite actors under the age of 50, all because I think if you factor in Bruce Wayne he is by far the best big-screen Batman.

As for the MCU as a whole, I think beyond what I've already mentioned a lot of my weird takes on the franchise stem from me appreciating it in different ways from many of you. For one example, I feel like the MCU might as well be an original IP nowadays since my main problem with modern Hollywood is over-reliance on established brand names and the MCU movies at least aren't made solely to ride the coattails of popular source material. If that makes sense.
