Lucario's prevo led from the start, though there was a fair amount of hate for the concept of baby pokemon in any form.

Today we have the 3-stage babies, with gen 2 forming the bulk of the batch. How does this compare to yesterday's group?

Elekid is the coolest and my vote, but there are a number of babies here I'm fond of, including Igglybuff, Mime Jr., and Budew.

Except for Elekid, he's alright.

Fun fact: Before Gold and Silver came out, I was aware of baby pokemon being a new feature and kept seeing Elekid marketed in shops, so for ages I assumed Elekid was actually Pichu. I was disappointed when I learned what Pichu actually looked like lol, though I have come around on it in the years since.

It's between Elekid and Togepi for me (dat anime bias), though Budew is neat too.

Not a huge fan of these either, but I don't mind Pichu, Elekid, Magby, or Togepi.

These are largely worse than the past group, but Pichu and Azurill stand out as definite cuties.

Mime Jr. is my all-time favorite Pokmon. So thats what I voted for. I agree with everyone that Elekid is cool though.

I voted Magby bc when I played SoulSilver I got an early Magby via PokeWalker and he was my fire Pokemon for my entire playthrough. Never had much experience with the others.

Anyway, Elekid easily. Wait, is that related to Electibuzz? I think that was also a standalone Pokemon the last I knew.

Elekid and Magby (and Smoochum) were introduced as baby forms of the Buzz/Magmar/Jynx trio back in gen 2! Buzz and Magmar received evolutions of their own in gen 4, which is also when Mr Mime got a baby form. So it's been a while! Though Mime only got a (regional) evolution in the most recent gen, so that one's pretty new.

I like when people have unusual fav pokemon! Mime Jr has grown on me, I'm not a fan of Mr Mime at all but they did a good job of making the line tolerable with Jr, it was also the best part of that baby battle royale video linked in the last topic.

In PoGo you used to be able to hatch Pichu wearing a hat, and it made his ears flop to the side
