Is Landfill important @NFUN ? It's on my Zora and I don't have any way to grind for it right now but can come back and get it later depending on priority.

So, V6 progression works weirdly, and I kind of misunderstood it.

Basically, each trinket is numbered internally 1-20. Aside from this number, they're totally interchangable. Except instead of the progression gates being by number of trinkets, they're by trinket IDs. That is (Assuming default settings), the blue level requires Trinket numbers 1-3, the Tower requires 4-6, the Yellow level requires 7-9 and the green level requires 10-12.

Seems weird to me, but I guess that's how it is.

(This does mean that if you get hinted a trinket for a V6 player, they're on default settings, and the number is 13 or higher you can ignore it, generally speaking)

Just had four items drop on me in a 4 heart Blind fight with Somaria and watched myself die in slowmo

Ariabolo, my sword is in your Icecave 6. It's not absolutely pressing since there's multiple copies and it only locks a couple of checks but would save me a ton of time. I've also got two different copies of gold for you, one locked behind sword progression in the first place.

Ok, I'm done with Secret of Evermore for now til the gauge turns up (it's in someone else's game).

Cleaned out most of the checks in the game; but I know I did miss some I could theoretically get; if you need something from me and you know it, @ me.

I've done all of the work I can for now. Automation 2 would be nice, and I'll need Military 3, Fast Inserter and Electronics 2 to finish

I had a hint that said Electronics was 40 skulltulas, so I'm glad I assumed it sounded important and went around collecting them.

I got the Floater a while ago but I can't actually find the Airship >_>

An affordable Atlas spell made the run a lot of fun; even if I was hoping for a good attack spell earlier and didn't get it, buffing your attack and hitting hard is a very reasonable option.

You know, if I just decided to do the Water Temple instead of putting it off until I found the Zora Tunic, I probably would've spent less time than I just spent looking for it.

I've gotten all of my checks in Subnautica but my Cyclops shield is still out there somewhere and I need it to win. I started with a laser cutter already unlocked, which was pretty sweet.

I got roughly 40 checks in Minecraft too but beating it will take more than one night

Just finished my keysanity file. I spawned in go mode, had everything I needed for a full clear except a couple checks in certain dungeons, so I just went ahead and completed it rather than wasting an hour or so grabbing everything. Onto Swordless Enemizer now, which may be a little more tricky!

I didn't get as far as I wanted yesterday but I got a buncha checks and Discord told me how to find the airship, which I imagine should open things up right quick. If it does, I'm nice and pumped up, and if it doesn't, I'm in trouble because the other thing I need is the Canoe and it's in my own game lol

I am actually in awe that of the items I could be missing on the lttp side, 2/3 of them are gloves.

And at this point, one glove only gets me five checks (Lanmolas boss kill, the secret sewers room, which is two items + a key, Catfish and Spike Cave) while Somaria nets me zero checks without both gloves. Not gonna hint them yet, but yeesh. That's silly.

So I've practiced Veni Vidi Vici enough so that it's not a problem anymore, and I guess I spent so much mental energy stressing about Prize for the Reckless that I nailed that in a few tries, so the last barrier I had was Edge Games... which I did in one try after I figured out how to actually do that

so the room I died the most in so far, I'm pretty sure, is fucking Gordian Knot somehow

waiting for Trinkets 5 and 6 to finish VVVVVV, and advanced-electronics and explosives for Factorio. Should be pretty quick to finish when I get those so let me know if you find them

Finished. Unfortunately, I didn't get the comedy option of the Zora Tunic or even the Water Temple Boss Key being in the first chest, but it went pretty quickly once I scrounged up the money to buy that and some blue fire.

Just finished. I think I saw an automation I sent you. Nothing else looked super important but i'm not sure what got sent when i finished the game.

You did send over a glove for Reg, so he can make a bit more progress now.

Got one of the two orbs I need and like all the key items I'm aware of needing, so it's just a matter of tracking down another Fiend (I found the sea shrine but I don't wanna go through the maze again so I'll try maybe Mirage Tower) and then it's endgame time baybeeee

I finally found a Nether fortress and got enough blaze rods to make the Ender eyes, but it turns out I need Brewing to be unlocked before I'm allowed to make blaze powder. Luckily, Brewing is in Reg's LTTP and he'll beat that game in five minutes whenever he gets his items. After that I could in theory beat Minecraft, though I'd need a little time to prep first

Got my flute so should be able to finish my remaining game in about twenty minutes once I pick it up this afternoon

Now that this async is winding down, I wanted to ask if there's interest in this becoming a semi-regular thing. And, if so, how often? I think one every two weeks or maybe one a month could work. Having regularity would allow more time for sign-ups leading up to each one, too. But I want a frequency where no one gets annoyed or burnt out. I'll always be up for another Subnautica run but not everyone is a crazy person like me.

Obviously there'd be no expectation of participation every time, but these are more fun with more worlds/people so I'll go with the majority. I hope Archipelago keeps adding more games, and that more people will slowly be drawn in because of it.

1/month sounds good to me tbh. Good excuse to not get beyond super rusty at lttp and maybe pick up another game or two

I got my Cyclops shield module in Subnautica, so I hopped on and won in two minutes.

NFUN got what he needed in Factorio and appears to have all his VVVVVV trinkets, so I guess my Minecraft doesn't have anything essential for anyone now. I'll beat it in a few days, latest on the weekend, but I guess there's no rush anymore! Thanks for doing this again everyone, I enjoyed it.

There, I beat Minecraft. This async had a 100% success rate!

If we do settle on having these once per month, I suppose that was our February jaunt. Saturday mornings seem a fair time to begin, so the next one will be approximately March 5th, if that sounds good? I'll be down for at least another Minecraft and Subnautica. Others can sign up now too if they want but I'll ping people in the final week to confirm anyway so no rush.
