Um, yeah, I'm interested in trying this out.

I will either play Super Metroid or Secret of Evermore, haven't decided.

EDIT: Super Metroid Settings are pretty confusing, so I'm going to go with Secret of Evermore, Default except for Doggomizer at full.

I'll try to generate the multiworld soon, so last chance if anyone else wants in!

I generated the world, hopefully this winds up working for everyone! I've set hints to 0% for this run so we can find items if we need to. Some games let you type the !hint (item) command in them, others require the Archipelago text client. I figure we can post hinted locations for stuff in here.

On the other hand, I just ran out of checks including out-of-logic ones that I can do (Splash Delete to Zora Ledge is hard it took me a while to knock off the rust ugh). So good timing, hopefully.

I'll stay connected for a little while to see if anything useful comes my way before I feel like it's too late for me to want to play more tonight.

The tracker still has you at 0 so I'm not sure you're connected correctly

Are you receiving items?

The log shows many things have been sent your way. And considering you're not showing as sending (As Roba points out), you're likely not receiving either.

Someone who knows more than me wants to know if you connected the .lua in lua console (if you're using Bizhawk)

This has been a funny one. I got blacksmith nearly right away then took ages to unlock my first blueprint, and it was the second most expensive set in the game. Finally bought my first piece of gear, more than doubling my damage, and suddenly I get sent three more sets of blueprints. Still can't use runes, haha

Ok, I killed Agahnim without a lamp to get a research speed for NFUN, that's gonna be it for me tonight. Looking forward to seeing what I can do next time I check in.

I'm at 57/130 so far, all gotten without a Seaglide which makes things super slow in Subnautica haha

I really wish Secret of Evermore told me what I was finding for whom but sent an item is enough, I guess.

Strangely haven't received anything yet (that I've noticed), but found the spider's claw in a chest so I can continue the exploration even if I don't take on the boss of the bugmuck yet.

@Lolo_Guru You actually aren't connected to Archipelago and aren't sending/receiving anything. My brother wanted me to ask if you connected a .lua. I don't know what that is but if you're using Bizhawk I guess all the SNES games need to do that

Oh just realized I must have done something wrong. So how do I go about troubleshooting this?

I followed the snes9x instructions on the page, I can try to bizhawk instead if that's necessary. I believe I'm connected to a lua.

EDIT: Ok, I'm clearly not. I think part of the issue was I was in airplane mode inadvertently.

I don't know how any SNES emulation works, maybe Reg could help if that's the one he uses or you could check on the Archipelago discord. Sorry that I can't be of more help! We've found you a lot of stuff whenever you do connect though

In other news, game clear on my end. First equip set I got was the crit set so I just knaved the final boss into oblivion.

Oh hey, clearing the game just auto finished all the checks in my game I guess. Is there any way to see what stuff I sent out?

Ok I think I found the step I was missing.

Connect to the Archipelago Server
Enter /connect server:port in the client's command prompt and press enter. You'll find server:port on the same page that had the patch.

never did that.

... in fact I never installed Archipelago at all so let me do that, lol.

The room link should list everything we sent to everyone

When I look at the links, the personal trackers show where the checks are and if they've been found or not as well as what's been received but not from who. The multiworld tracker does have items found and where they were sent to, but only for NFUN for some reason and it's showing what stuff he'll get from things he hasn't done yet as well.

Ok it's saying I didn't patch my rom right or something. Still troubleshooting

This setup is so weird. All of the items I could send that were important were available very early, and now I'm sending like 10 blocks of iron ore and shit like that. Meanwhile like 80% of the things you can give me are "essential"

Yeah, there was a ton of critical stuff in the early chests for other players.

Finished the prehistoric area, hope I didn't miss any necessary chests for you guys. I know there's wings (which I have) to go back to previous areas but I don't want to if I don't have to.

And Progressive Miners is indeed a Rogue Legacy thing, Miner is a class apparently!

I get it now, with the basic classes you see just the upgraded class name, but with the unlockables the class and the upgrade are considered the same thing, labled progressive (class). I genuinely thought it was a factorio item named progressive miner that got sent to the wrong place or something, lol

Could you post just a general screenshot of your server history link? I'd like to see if it's me being in the wrong place, it displaying differently, or something else.

I'm at 89/130, which is all I can do until I get my last two laser cutter fragments. I need more than that to actually beat the game but with a laser cutter I could get all but 12 of my items. So, I hinted for them! No rush Lolo but it looks like you have all my fragments.

I beat my run. Was kind of weird got a ton of stuff sent to me at the start then nothing for like half my run and then i started getting stuff normally again.

Yeah I'm not sure how all the different games work, maybe if you get more relics than Archipelago has checks for you just get a relic as normal, same with card draws and whatnot? I dunno.

Congrats on winning your game, though! That's 2/10 of us who are done already, not bad.
