How is ep 100 used to get Koga and Sesshomaru/Rin to meet and completely glaze over his debut attack on her village. Like yeah it's (barely) mentioned he attacked them and his goons try to keep him away, but then they meet and it's no big deal but bruh you didn't just attack her village, and you not only murdered her parents but you killed the girl and we're just skating over that

... tough to rate but I guess I gotta go 7/10... it's like a 4/5 for the most part but elevated greatly for inugome scenes / modern era, anytime sesshomaru's around is great, and kikyo hits me real hard... when she's utterly stupid which thankfully I think stopped after s3 because my god was she incredibly frustrating leading up to s3

I guess I should watch the movies before jumping to Final Act but I don't really wanna

bruh this season has a lot of good (although very rushed) but how the hell many times are we just getting a "oh Inuyasha's sword can just have all its abilities Inuyasha spent ~200 episodes developing stolen and there's really no way he could possibly have prevented it"

the kikyo arc had me considering giving this series a 8/10 but my god I'm really tired of this dumb stuff *edit* okay this one was actually good but my god it's the freaking 3rd time this has happened 15 episodes into this series

*edit2* FUCKING CHRIST the next episode is about now trying to steal Kagome's power like what the actual fuck can this show not think of another plot

hrmmmmm... it was a tortuous ending but ultimately feel good although still a bit conflicting

my heart was still stuck in pain mode until kagome called sesshomaru oniisan so that probably keeps it as a 8/10

still desperately lacking in modern era content tho

okay okay okay the twins are Sesshomaru and the Moroha is definitely Inugome, caught off-guard because Towa is definitely the protag so I figured must be Inugome but nope :O

Moroha is literally the best ever tho so all I need, hell yeah she's even users a sword + bow combo with sacred arrows

FFXI Update: Bastok Nation Missions beat, lmao easily last place these were just a mess. I like New Cornelia but she's not even significant.

Yashahime Update: ep14, not as frustrating as what Inuyasha could be but there's not really a hook and it's kinda sad that the Inugome babby just feels like a 3rd wheel here

welp I'm all caught up on inuyashahime

... a long drag with yashahime, even the earlier episodes of s2 weren't doing it for me, but finally in the back half things have started to really come together, plus some heartwarming moments that have been sorely lacking. Towa still sucks and I wish she wasn't the protagonist, and the villains aren't really great (Riku's face-turn is really disappointing and they can't sell the Towa-Riku ship at allll)

FFXI Update: Bastok [S] missions beated........... uhhhhhh it might be my favourite of the Nation missions, which is really catching me off guard since especially following the original Bastok Missions that were laughably bland and didn't give me any reason to care about Volker or like Zeid (who I ended up really disliking)

Bastok [S] tho had a cool murder mystery vibe from the start, actually built up Volker and particularly Zeid who I actually like now, and Klara's one of my fav XI characters now. Especially having played the Dark Knight quests helps Zeid even more here, and I'm kinda wondering if Bastok [S] before Bastok might've made me care for thie nation missions

i'm using it in the context where people say it offhandedly to mean top 4, 4 most influential, etc. of whatever field.

so like i could say "the Mt. Rushmore of Tales characters is Yuri/Velvet/Kratos/Zelos" and then we could have a big old argument

or i could go the more personal route and say "my Mt. Rushmore of Tales characters is Zelos/Estelle/Yuri/Mieu"

but yeah other than "Elite Four" nothing relaly came to mind
