I've had covid recently and had my booster shot so I should be fine, but I don't want to end up passing it to someone else.

No and I really have zero interest in ever returning. I wish same day streaming had become permanent, but I suppose the industry standard wait time getting cut in half is still pretty good.

If there werent holiday crowds I'd break not going to see Spider-Man, but every showing I check is near full theaters right now.

At least a couple of times. One was for the RiffTrax riff of Hobgoblins, another was for Rob's Gone Wrong (or whatever it was called), and another was for The Adams Family 2 (my niece wanted to see it).

I went once for Dune like a month ago since I was fully boosted and I (correctly) expected the theater to be almost empty. With omicron I'm back to being uncomfortable doing so.

No, I already didn't really enjoy it in normal times. I have a nice TV at home.

FWIW I really enjoy going to theaters (and indoor dining, for that matter), so not being able to go does suck!

Spider-Man last weekend was the only time there was more than a handful of other people seeing the same movie, usually it's been pretty empty. This was the case before the pandemic, too.

I'm not even sure what the last movie I saw in a theater was. Haven't really enjoyed the experience since I was a lot younger.

Twice last week, for the first time since the pandemic. Went to watch West Side Story at a community screening event on Friday, and watched No Way Home alone on Sunday.

With as good as modern home theater systems are, there isn't much point. Get a proportionately better sound and visual experience, more comfortable seating, more comfortable clothing (or lack of ;)), better food, better commute, better schedule, no annoying crowd, etc.

Also really enjoy the cinema experience here. I like the listing movies idea:

I had tickets for both No Way Home and The Matrix Resurrections but had to cancel as I have COVID. Hopefully cinemas will still be open when I am out. This is all in Ireland except for No Time to Die which was in London. I really wanted to see Last Night in Soho but my schedule got in the way. Also some stuff like The Green Knight was mainly on streaming here.

I haven't been to a movie theater since Episode IX.

There was a time when they did social distancing and super sanitizing at theaters when pandemic was in full swing that it felt safer to go to the theater than the grocery store.

Now since everyone is mostly ignoring the pandemic now, not so much.

I much much much prefer having movies available to me in my living room right when they come out. I wish I had watched Dune in theatres though.

I believe it has only been Black Widow and No Time to Die for me. The plan is to add No Way Home tomorrow. All of these have been with my dad.

Part of it is lack of money from drifting from job to job.

Parents saw No Time to Die while they were away. Neither one liked it much.

No, but I hardly ever went before it either.

I would have liked to see Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears in the cinema, but that was only ever getting a small release outside Australia anyway, and I don't know if my local cinemas would have got it even if they didn't close.

Still haven't seen it, actually. Must get hold of the DVD.
