I mean, can you only be watching iron fist, or can you watch it while doing other things like I do most movies and shows anyway?

Either way i'd do it, since there are not that many shows I really care about that much but a mill would open up a ton of other things I could do. I love to read, play video games, i'd travel, go white water rafting etc.

Probably. But it makes it harder for me to just go over and watch anime while getting drunk on the weekends harder. It would definitely negatively affect my mood and life

I thought about it some more and change my answer. If I think about the 24 hours as a part time job then million dollars is more than enough to compensate for time lost. I'll probably watch less movies though. Maybe 1 or 2 a month.

Iron Fist was fantastic (in season 1) but no show can stand up against that many repeat viewings... although... I don't watch many movies anymore so I'd barely be impacted.

The problem is having to watch it in between switching shows or movies, which is what we do while drinking. Having to watch 24 hours of another show in between makes it hard to just do what we normally do on the weekends. Unless were allowed to switch as much as we want, and watch Iron Fist during the week. But it sounds like we have to watch it in between switching shows So, no. I probably wouldnt be able to actually live life like Im use to. Even with my work friend. We switch shows constantly at work. Couldnt do that if I had to watch 24 hours of Iron fist. And I watch a ton of YouTube videos. And that would probably mean Iron Fist between those, as well So, Id rather be happy and not have to deal with it, tbh

This is the main problem. Its between every show and movie. If I watch a movie, I have to watch all of Iron Fist before I watch something else. If I watch a show, I have to watch all of Iron Fist before I watch another show. On those anime weekends, we can get through multiple shows, if we try. And my one friend is a fiend when it comes to switching between shows

Lets do the math here. Say you watch...at most...10 good movies a year. Also add in say, oh 40 good tv episodes from various shows. Now normally you watch a bunch of crap as well, but now you have motivation to ONLY watch the good stuff, so you wait to see the reviews etc.

So say 50 times total per year, you would need to watch all of iron fist which is 23 total shows with an average run time of 55 minutes.

That is 21 hours each time and 50 times, so 1050 hours per year.

If you got paid $100 an hour for watching the show, that would be just over 100k a year, so you would in effect get paid for 10 years all up front at $100 an hour. With investments though you could easily leverage that to get $100 an hour for the rest of your life, and still watch 10 moves and 40 episodes every year the whole time.

So it's pretty much worth it unless you already have a few million or have a job you love and wouldn't stop doing etc.

Million bucks wouldnt even be enough for me to retire on. Not considering inflation that will surely happen by the time I retire I will have earned roughly a million dollars in my life and then there is the rest of my life to consider after retirement.
