In an important tanking game, Pistons decided to not even use most of their starters....

...and are still beating OKC by 20

Suns lose to the starterless Grizzlies. Also lost their chance at the NBA road record(they can still tie it), and fail to set a franchise record in wins for now.

For pretty much the exact reason the lost in the finals last year. Rebounding.

Don't know if I can handle not getting a championship this year.

lakers getting eliminated by the spurs and suns is so satisfying

I kinda wanna see a Raptors/Suns Finals

Seems like almost every contender in the East has a surprise unvaccinated starter too so should be fun to see the Raptors this postseason

Suns/Celtics is my dream finals as the Celtics are my favorite east team

Pretty sure the Heat have said their team is fully vaccinated, and that would be who they get in round 2 as it stands.

Pistons avoid dunking on the Sixers again to finish with the 3rd worst record

Had to pretty much sit all our starters the final week of the season to ensure we actually lost a few

they might have been the most interesting 23 win team I've ever watched

One thing I hate about fans who get so mad whenever a tanking team wins is I dont think they realize how much fun they are giving up if all they care about is ping pong balls.

Well, I think Mobley and Scottie Barnes are considered close choices, so perhaps this will cause some of the voters to go with Barnes and ultimately see him win.

yeah top two easily. Guessing Barnes.

From the confirmed votes I've seen so far it was Barnes with 50 points and Mobley with 48. All 1/2/3 votes were for Barnes, Mobley and Cade in varying orders

Even though I didn't expect him to have a chance, I was disappointed to see not a single top 3 vote for Franz Wagner. Seems being consistently great through the season without the peaks just isn't as valued. Magic really should have fed him the ball more like in Dec/Jan when we had people injured and he popped. He did at least still lead all rookies in points scored

Wagner would be a solid third behind those top 2, though maybe there are other rookies I haven't considered.
