Ticket day! I decided to use mine on FF5 instead of 12 since I don't think much will help for the dreambreaker in that pool besides Vaan AOSB.

Looks like RoP has a pretty good cutoff date this time, but since I'm saving for the stamps/Awakening select banner I'm gonna hold off till after fest, I already sub30 Nimbus so I don't need new T-0 stuff anyway.

I think I'll just pull on 12, 9 and 5 for now.

I used my ticket on XII and got Fran's CSB 2.5 (and Basch AOSB, but whatever).
She's not quite my white whale Laguna, but she's the next best thing, so that was a major win for my ice teams.

So now I face the same problem with her and the XII banner that I already faced with Galuf and the V banner. I want to pull there to improve her even further, but I need 500 mythril before the end of fest for Rem's Sync.

Fran has decent USBs and her HA is guaranteed imperil ice/lightning so if she's a chain holder you're probably good, if you plan on using her as a DPS (which she isn't great at FYI) then you should pull or pick her Awakening from a select at fest.

Think I might skip RoP this time aside from the realms I really like. I seem to have pretty decent team diversity now and I got a lot of trash last time.

I 100 gem'd Alphinaud's AOSB off the new banner.

What a miracle, I had so many dupes but I still have it a 100 gems at a chance at Lissette awakening, and I was worried I got a dupe at first!

This could help for the Dreambreaker and Wodin!

Finally muscled through the multiplayer Omega fights in solo. They're a lot more of a hassle without Historia/Magicite to buff the party (and break savage levels). I actually wound up using mixed parties for both; not a shocker for dark, since I have Sephiroth but only Gen 1 and magical chains, but it's kind of weird that my ice mages did better than my physical ice when they were all relying on Celes CSB.

I guess I missed one of the Omega fights, I put it off too long. Did all the weapon fights today to make sure I don't forget, they weren't too bad. I'm currently sitting at 412 mythril, I didn't think I was going to have a problem getting 500 for fest but now I'm a little worried. I guess I have to skip all the LotR and luckies until I reach 500.

Keep in mind the fest itself tends to give around 100 mythril between the gift dungeons, login bonuses, and normal event battles. You should reach it no problem-- may have to skip some of the ROP though.

I'm at 505 already so that sync is secure (though I will spend 5 on the FF12 RoP in hopes of a little boost to beat the dreambreaker.) Finally got enough AL2 to get Fran's dualcast LMR but I should wait for the RoP first.

I think I can get enough mythril to get the Awakening stamp and select banner.

Okay that's good to know. I'm definitely not doing all the LotR but I want to do the ones for the realms I haven't beaten dreambreakers yet, unless the pool is really bad (like 1).

I decided to do a pull on FFXII before it goes to see if I could get some help with the dreambreaker.

I got Larsa's crit damage up USB/QC2 and Fran's LBO. Well it could be worse, at least it's better than dupes or Basch stuff.

Maaaan I'm so pissed off, I was 00.4% left on the FF12 Dreambreaker, but the 10 second doom killed Vayne and Vaan so all I had left was Fran, Orran and Larsa left. Gabranth jumped to savage level 3 earlier and Fran could only do 1000~ damage per hit even after the chain was high and I got memory end'd.

So mad because I screwed up because I was so close I panicked and accidentally used Vayne's normal OSB instead of the AOSB, which would have been enough to get the killing blow. Ugh. And that was with lucky dualcasts too because most times I get to 12~5%. I really want Fran's dualcast LMR but I was actually 15 AL2 short! At least the FF9 event starts tomorrow so I can get the AL2 there and maybe finally beat this one. Fran's LBO actually did help a lot and caps in phase 2 which gives me a little more Awakening time for Vaan so that helps a lot in Phase 3.

Geesh this was a pain in the ass!!! Constant gravity attacks, hodgepodge team (and one of the characters doesn't have a RB yet!) he constantly buffs himself UGH! Glad that's fucking over!

Also I got Onion Knight Awakening 2 this morning! It's pretty awkward because he doesn't have a good physical move for those elements outside of wind. That 100% party crit though.

Really nice since that means I can bring Orran to the FF9 Dreambreaker!

Also all these new Dreambreaker missions give me the willies... I'm dreading having to beat the FF1 Dreambreaker again.

I haven't even done that one yet, and I doubt I will be able to beat him before the mission goes away. Having to redo V and VII is bad enough. IX will probably be ok at least.

Yeah this boss still sucks, but at least I was able to outspeed the phase 3 deaths thanks to a lucky triplecast from Zidane! Glad to have a legit win on this guy even if it's been almost a year since he came out.

If they're going to keep giving us torment missions, I wish they would at least give us enough favorite slots to save our torment teams. I overwrote all of them except the one I use for the weekly mission.

Anyway, Bahamut is here, but I, V, and IX are far from my strongest realms. I tried IX which is my best of the three and got him down to 75%. Wish I could afford to pull on the current V and IX banners, but... fest stamps. I'm sure I can do better once the AI script is posted, and maybe I'll invest in some level 120 HCs.

Got Sephiroth Sync! Wow! I only pulled twice so far and this is probably one of the better RoPs! This should help for Dreambreaker and *gulp* Bahamut

I've been putting off Bahamut until I at least see the script, which seems to be up now (at least I saw V is up) but probably until I get more relics or an easier realm. I started to do the IX Dreambreaker for the mission but then I saw my time (~46s) and remembered how convoluted that clear was and I'm not sure it's worth the hassle for a few rat tails. Hope I get some good help from fest.

It's probably better to just wait for the FFVII Bahamut since that one's the easiest because of Cloud/Sephiroth's CB9 USBs so they can crack through the apex savage. Some people even say that the FF7 Bahamut is easier than the Dreambreaker.

Also surprised this hasn't been brought up yet but the last 3 Wodins weren't found in the datamine! AUGH! I want that Holy Bracer so badly!

I used my ticket on XII and got a pretty nice Larsa LMR, a dupe Basch AOSB, and most importantly Vaan's AASB(2 I think, IC thief and en-wind every 2 actions)

Time to bash my head against Gabranth.

Managed to beat Gabranth thanks to my new Vaan AASB with his HA.

Still took a few hours worth of attempts, but I'm glad that this one's now done. 6 more to go.

Will definitely be helpful for the FF1 stuff, and haven't gotten anything new for Bartz in quite some time. Also used my latest ticket on FF9, got Garnet LMR dupe and Eiko AASB dupe.

Tossed 5 mythril towards FF9 RoP, because my FF9 stuff isn't all that great. Got Steiner AASB, so that was nice.

I've basically been doing login bonuses and some draws here and there recently, been super busy with work and courses. Going to give Titan an earnest try tonight finally, and see if I can finally crack the 6* magicite barrier (yes, I'm very far behind lol).

Beat the FF2 and 4 Gilgamesh pretty easily with mage teams. Also beat the FF9 one with my new Quina gear. I finally got revenge on that Damn FFV Gilgamesh, but I had to get Krile and Faris' HA. They're not good but since I'm probably gonna use them in Dreambreaker I might as well get it now. I'm done with all the Gilgameshs for now so I got more anima lens+ for the new HAs coming out the fest.

A lot of death dupes too though. Is there any sort of resource where you can search when relics return? Like I really like that Tidus Sync 2 and I like some of the support items, but there are some dead items like Yuna Awakening 2 (mine is rank 15) and like 6 of the items in total just do nothing for me which seems really high.

Solitare's topics on the Record Keeper board usually has a return date on the relic's info. He left it blank for Tidus sync2 in the banner's topic so doesn't seem like it does. Probably should just wait until it's on a Dream select or stampable.

My ticket got me a new Master glint and dupe Wol awakening. The FF1 pool is not really that great but there aren't many options to get stuff for that realm so I keep using my tickets there. But fest banners start tomorrow!

If you're going to use tickets on FF1 I'd just wait for the refresh unless you're desperate to get the rat tails from the Dreambreaker and Bahamut missions. Meia's sync will most likely be added in the refresh and that's the best DPS relic for that realm.

Also seems like from the MVP email fest banners will be the same as Japan (which is pretty confusing why they keep it under wraps if they're just going to be the same like last fest) The 100 mythril Awakening select banner is coming tonight as well but that will last a longer time than the fest banners you can save your mythril for that later.

Anyone pulling on the Awakening lucky tonight? It feels really risky now because there's so many c/d list characters with Awakenings now that a dupe for a rank up would be better... but an awakening for 25 mythril is still really hard to pass up.

Do we have an ETA on the refresh? Does JP have one yet and/or is there an expected time?

I'm asking because Maria Sync was one of the main reasons I was FF2 ticketing so may not be as useful to go there with one less grand prize on the table and might just hoard.

Japan got the refresh last month-ish I think? So about 5/6 months away.

I'd hoard for the refresh too but since there's realm based Labyrinth dungeons the rat tails might be more important for getting to level 120 on your historia crystals which is why I'm spending them in hopes of getting the Bahamut debut missions done.

I think I read somewhere that JP had the refresh early November. So that would be May for us. Probably not next maintenance, but possibly the one after that.

The refresh was actually late December.

Got a Fusoya (dupe) and Orlandeau! That's pretty nice! Fusoya's is a holy boosting robe so even as a dupe that's ok.

Oof a dupe might have been better for a rank boost. Tama is supposed to be the healer for Beyond but since they lumped Beyond and Core together in Cardia there's no reason to use her over Elara.

I guess you can use her as an offense white mage/backup healer if you have no other options for DPS.

Rain's Awakening has earth/fire imperil on entry so he's surprisingly decent for Wodin. I wouldn't count him out yet.
