I got Dreambreaker Ifrit down to 70%, most likely because my FFXV team kinda sucks but I'm having a hard time on one of the "easiest" dreambreakers. Probably because I don't have Iris's recent stuff and amd just relying on her lensable relics but this boss huuurtts. Even with Orran's Awakening I have a hard time keeping up with the damage.

Maybe I'll have to pick something FFXV from the dream selects if I want those mission rat tails...

I think what you have matters at least as much as difficulty... I haven't beaten XIV and everyone said that was one of the easiest. I did beat 2 the other day though, progress!

I also tried XI today, got 60% but I think I need to get one more awakening for that one. I have 3 pretty good characters (Shantotto, Ayame, and Aphmau). Then I have Lilisette's awakening which can counter Dreambreaker Full Break, but it's not honed and so she does almost nothing until phase 3. And my last slot is total dead weight.

I spent 2 hours on DB Ifrit yesterday and I managed 90%, but I agree: he hurts, a lot.

I don't think I can take him out in a single chain, which means I need to stagger my dps, and the timing isn't easy to figure out. I picked up Gladio's SSB from the lens shop (Last Stand and Boostga), which seems absolutely necessary if your Iris doesn't have Last Stand. When I tried a 1-chain approach, I skipped the phase 2 Overstrike move, but I can't do that if I stagger my dps.

Dyads are kinda a glint+ with a damage capbreak mixed with a AOSB. You'll want to use them before you use an Awakening/sync (preferably awakenings with HA because of rank boost damage) but they can also be used with DPS USbs if just need extra cap break time as well.

It's probably gonna be hard for a character like Celes to utilize it though because her damage stats kinda suck.

Which 6* magicite are you going to start with?

If you have Cloud awakening/sync and a physical wind chain you've already got a high chance of beating Titan. Especially if you have Cloud's hero ability. You don't even need a second DPS, an entrustbot giving Cloud meter is enough.

Make sure to stack his USB2 as well since the chases help with breaking the walls.

If you have Elara USB2 Faris is the better chain choice for the higher field bonus and chain count.

Also Elara is way better than Aerith for Titan, Titan does pitiful damage you'll never be in danger of dying with regenera. Well besides the eject at phase 3 if you don't kill him in time but you can't last stand through that anyway.

Phew, that bastard is finally down. I feel like I should be faster than this, but I really don't care enough to try for a faster clear at this point.

Main changes I made to my previous attempts were:
- Noctis casts the first chain right away. Well, on his second turn actually. Lilisette casts the second chain around the 17 second mark (IC after an Ignis BSB cmd 2)
- DMT on Ignis, and use his BSB right away to massively improve Gladio and Noctis dps (2cmd 2 on Gladio, then cmd 1, cmd 2 on Noctis, cmd 2 on Lili). Only after all the correct buffs were applied, did he switch to his Sync
- Gladio switched his RM to TGM. With the Ignis buff package, he was still easily reaching 19,999 per hit with his HA, even at fairly low chain count.

If you look closely on the screenshot, Iris actually provided the killing blow with Fires Within, lol

I got 3 more Wodin magicite, so now I need a magic vulnerable clear. Thing is Wodin null-elements so much I don't know how to deal with that with a magic team till Emperor's HA comes out next fest. Ugh. Maybe the Fire weak one when that comes out since Vincent is a machinist?

Also nice QoL on the Critfix, now only the highest crit chance boost applies so say if you're using Cloud USB1 and Tyro uses his USB4/Awakening he won't overwrite the 100% crit chance on Cloud anymore! That will help on Dreambreaker Ifrit since I use Iris' super for the crit chance.

I also got Serah's glint on the 10 daily draw today.

Use the physical Odin as your main magicite for the mini imperils. Also if you do earth first you can use Red XIII's HA, assuming he fits your party.

The Dragonking Armlets were a nice bonus... had to clean up my inventory to make room for them, but they seem good.

Emperor has a similar HA where he does 3 hits and an imperil for earth/wind/dark so I'll just wait for that next month since I already have his Awakening/chain and might do a few pulls on his fest banner.

Titan blew out my team in 3 moves. I used Elarra's glint+ but didn't go with wall. I'm thinking I'll need to give Elarra MM/DMT and get her using USB1 or AASB right after glint+.

Cleared Odin with my magic fire team on the first try. It was kind of embarrassing, I forgot to give Vincent magia in magic or do any of his record board so his damage was absolutely terrible (like 3-4k per hit with meltdown with high chain). But Terra and Edge got the job done.

You should bring wall to the Titan fight unless you're already using Tyro USB3. Do you not have 5 Dark Odin accessories? Primal Essence is omni elemental and will do big damage without those accessories.

I'm trying Fire Magic Wodin as well but it's not going too great, got about 60% but the slow move got me and I forgot to bring hastaga. I'm also depending on Vivi to not die early so his trance activates.

I do, and did indeed bring them. It hit for about 4500 or so. It's just the 3 AOEs in a row when Elarra can only heal once (first action is glint+, second is curada, 3 people died before her third action). If I use USB3 with Tyro, then essentially use him as an entrustbot, that should work. Or bring Fabula Guardian, have Elarra still use glint+, and just hope Cloud is powered up enough to take out the Earthen Walls.

Titan is pretty tame after the first few attacks, you can even defend for a while if his damage is too high.

I got Wodin down to 70% but Terra's Awakenings and Vivi's sync's run out of time by that point. I might have to dream select Vivi's Awakening to seal it.

Vivi's sync is also pretty annoying that you have to stack so you only get 1 rage break with him. I got level 3 instant killed because of that a few times. >:(

I took down physical fire-weak Odin, that one took a bit more work than magic. Originally I tried to use Gilgamesh as my chainer since I also have his awakening (and some other stuff) but my damage was too low. So I swapped him for Balthier who was better even with just his chain (and glint) because of imperiling.

Ugh this new Gilgamesh is rough. I beat the FF7 one but that's one's basically a freebie with Cloud/Seph.Trying the FFX one but that cheap pain + gravity attack is dumb, don't put your off realm in slot 2/4! Also Yuna really sucks without her Elara clone USB or recent stuff.

Update- got him! (FFX) Paine is MVP with her HA! Also had to rely on her chain so I could use the healing RW.

IV - Based on dupes, I should probably go for IV, but I have sub-30'd its DB already.
VII - Also fairly low on the dupe count, but apart from Aerith and Zack, the banner is full of B-tier characters in a realm with too many top-tier characters.
V - Absolutely too many dupes and DB is sub-30'd. Would love that Lenna Sync+AASB though, since I have her other AASB and the very good BUSB.
VIII - Dupe city. I think this one's a hard pass. Other than Squall Sync, not much of interest.
X - I don't see myself using any of the missing relics, apart from Tidus Sync.

I feel like I'm leaning towards IV, because Edge Sync feels like the absolute best relic on either banner, even if the other stuff won't help that much. Some people like Edward AASB for support, but I'm not sure he makes the cut compared to other support option.

I used my 20 tickets on IV
5/20, which is ridiculous quantity, but the quality wasn't great. Rosa LMR, Fusoya Glint, Edward Glint, Fusoya CSB and an Edge AASB dupe.

Got my first 6* from the daily 10-draws today, a Raines USB.
Also pulled 3 5*s already, Steiner Unique, Noctis Glint, and a Relm LMR dupe
Love this campaign.

I also got my first 6* from the daily, it was a dupe of Agrias's awakening. I've had a ton of 5* (I think 11/40?) but most of them were dupes and none were useful.

Four Gilgameshes down, the only one I have left is FF1. VII, IX, and X were all pretty easy. V was took me multiple tries, but it was my only sub 30 when I actually got it. I'll be using my ticket tomorrow on the 1 realm draw, hopefully I get something or the last Gilgamesh is going to be tough.

I used 12 tickets (I can get the FFX Dreambreaker down 30%) on FFX and got Jecht's glint oh well



Did beat my 5th (500) Gilgamesh for 250 lenses though so that's nice. May get Tidus and Auron HAs to try and get the FFX dreambreaker down further

Uggggh how are people saying Fire Weak Magic Wodin is easy?!?! Best I got him down to 19% but he outbulked me. I try 2 healers but I don't have enough damage to kill him, I try 4 DPS but without Orran that stupid 75% HP High Stakes BS makes it hard to break cap outside of Terra HA and I waste 5 second of precious sync/Awakening time, not to mention it's hard to survive with only Deuce.

After getting those 4 Honing Scrolls from the Cardia campaign, I honed Cait Sith's AASB to rank. I hope I don't regret this.

I used all my scrolls on Orran, speaking of which I beat Fire Weak Physical Odin!



That was a lotta HP to chew through, oy! I only won through luck because I got a couple of triplecasts with Bartz. But the trick to beating him here was that I kept getting getting screwed over by that slow after the first Argent Zantetsuken, I stopped being stingy with Orran's awakening there even though he was gonna die in two seconds and used it there to keep the other 3 characters hasted then revived them with Duece's Awakening. But man does it stink to waste the awakening when Orran only has 2 seconds left to live, which is why I can't wait till I have two uses of it!

Hm got Dreambreaker Sin down to 30% with another try with a bit more feeling. May be doable to win with a bit more effort put in. If I had a Tidus sync it'd be trivial I think but having a ton of awakenings may be sufficient.

Oh no you can't judge a Dreambreaker win by the first 30%, that's the easy part. Phase 3 is where the real roadblock savage modes start with ridiculous damage reductions and constant jumping to level 3 rage even after a triplecast cap break. Even with syncs these guys aren't easy unless it's an OP sync like Zidane or Rem's. Even the easy ones like Nimbus and Zeromus have pain in the ass gimmicks. Zeromus isn't even that difficult he just outbulks you till the instant kill turn.

Huh no I got him TO 30%, down 70% (with Yuna being dead since mid phase 2 because I mistimed healing)

Died early in phase 3 because he giga gravitoned me and Yuna was dead (also she's my counter for full break so my damage was pretty hamstrung in phase 3) but it seems doable if I don't let Yuna die.

I still wouldn't get overconfident about Sin unless you get Tidus sync2, I've had my struggles trying to overcome the last 15% against dreambreakers because of the damage reductions.

I'm not sure if I'm going to do this select... it's hard to justify spending money with just how laggy the game is these days.

USB select should really be 2 for 1 at this point. I'd do it and grab two healer USBs, but not for one relic for $30. Syncs... if I do it I guess the best one is Alphinaud's. I already have his healing sync and it sucks that you can't bring both. For wind magic he's also my only chainer. The pool isn't that impressive, nothing like Zidane's that would make it an easy buy.

I was previously playing on an old Digiland tablet with 1GB RAM. I have now upgraded to a less-old "Samsung Galaxy Tab A" with 2GB RAM and FFRK runs much, much better. I can now actually magia grind in Dreams, and whatnot, instead of the game crashing back to title screen every other transition! It's great.

So if your tablet is as old as mine was, then maybe save up the money you would have spent on Dream Selects until you can buy a new tablet with the cash, instead.

Edit: Actually I guess you're probably playing it on a smartphone. But still, same advice: if your hardware sucks, consider saving up for better hardware instead of better relics.

I just play on bluestacks when I have to deal with laggy bosses like 6* magicite.

I also bit on the 15 bucks premium banner as well. I got Red XIII sync!!! Hopefully I can beat Earth Magic Wodin now!

I'm picking Noctis' sync for the Dreambreaker, if worse comes to worse I might get Iris' Awakening as well but I'd rather not since I doubt I'll use her outside of dreambreakers.

My phone is actually just a couple months old (Pixel 4a) which is part of what makes it so frustrating. I'm not sure why it's gotten so much slower lately.
