You use Yukari for her TP battery, not her heals. If you look at her attack pattern, her heal comes out super late.

Maho is the premiere auto single-target healer and Ilya's best friend until Summer Kokkoro's manual target.

I'm pretty sure they came to the JP version a couple months after the Love Live collaboration, so the EN schedule is all messed up at this point. I still think that collab is coming to EN (I read that assets for it were already datamined) but the fact that the Seirans are coming first is really throwing me off.

Makoto is the best physical attacker in the game right now, bar none, and Maho is arguably the best healer too. Yukari and Kokkoro are both great supporters once you ascend them to 2+ stars, and Io is a solid magic attacker too. Akino is mediocre, don't bother.

Unfortunately, you have a big problem in that none of those are tanks. Shizuru is the closest to one, but she's primarily a support off-tank and not a main tank that should be soaking up most of the damage. On top of that, she actually lines up behind all other front-row units, so she could only serve as your main tank if all of your others on the team are mid-row or back-row, which means you can't even use Makoto with her.

You need to roll for a decent tank or you'll be stuck using Pecorine as your main tank for an extended time, and she's bad at the start and only decent once you get her to 2+ stars. Nozomi is a base 3-star and the best overall tank in the game at launch, and you can buy her with dungeon coins if you really don't want to roll more. Miyako and Kuka are both great base 2-star tanks, but since Miyako focuses on physical defense and Kuka focuses on magic defense, Miyako is generally more useful for most story missions. Alternatively, you could put up with Pecorine for now and save for Jun, who's an excellent tank and is most likely coming to the game within the next month or so.

Unless you're facing an enemy that's super-resistant to physical damage, then yes, definitely. Makoto's raw power and ability to drop the enemy's defense combined with Suzuna's insane critical hit power will decimate a lot of enemies as long as you can protect them. Even at just her base 2-star rarity (since you can't farm her shards until you unlock the Princess Arena after beating 8-15) Suzuna's damage output is crazy.

With that much firepower and Maho's healing, the only ways you should ever lose a stage are if you're underleveled/undergeared, if the enemy is super-resistant to physical attacks (in which case swap Suzuna or Kokkoro out for a magical attacker), or if Pecorine simply isn't tanking well enough to keep the enemies from getting to Makoto even with Maho's healing helping her out.

Oh, I see. Definitely use both of those attackers, Pecorine (if you have no one better) for a tank, and Maho for healing. As for the last slot... Kokkoro gives more general buffs and is a decent physical attacker herself, but Yukari's TP boosting can help Suzuna activate her auto-crit nukes more often and her magic barrier can help Pecorine stay alive longer. For some stages, you might need Kokkoro's buffs for extra overall damage to win, while for some others you might need Yukari's barrier to keep Pecorine alive longer. So I'd say raise them both and rotate them in and out.

Duel Links is still the biggest TCG gacha running I think. Shadowverse takes the spot every now and then, but Duel Links has always had a very steady base of people. The game is also stingy as fuck so it's profitable... The pandemic hitting also made it so people were actively pursuing ways to play YGO, and Duel Links is more mini-YGO than a different format nowadays

Thx for the rundown. I think I'll try my luck at Jun when they're released. I do recall hearing that they're worth pulling for. I'd rather not invest in a temporary tank that is just average right now.

To be fair, I've heard that Miyako and Kuka stay good (at least good at what they're designed to do) for a long time. Also, Pecorine herself may be mediocre now, but apparently she gets a lot better once they start adding unique equipment to the game and she gets hers. Not sure about Nozomi though.

I really want Keqing, but idk if I can afford to roll for her with Hutao probably coming out soon after. And they made Keqing's upgrade material kind of annoying too, Nectar is the same thing that Mona/Ganyu want, she uses the same weekly boss material as Mona, and her gathered material is something you have to mine instead of it just being collectable like most other characters.

To be fair the weekly boss mats are only for like the last 4 levels, the gains are typically similar across all levels anyway so it's not a drastic leap in DPS (Most of my team's talents hover about level 5 atm lol)
Nectar though yeah, I basically had to put plant mob farming into my daily routine for a week since between Keqing/Mona/Ganyu they really need a ton of the things for ascensions and talents lol
At least for Lapis Mt. Hulao is a good bi-daily source which you can do quickly enough for a decent pile

I do want another cute girl fire user to balance my teams more for Abyss diving but unless they suddenly reveal that Hu Tao is yet another broken DPS she'll feel a bit redundant with Xiangling (Even if she's likely going to be better)
That aside I just unlocked my final ascension levels and I'm really feeling the EXP item bottleneck right now, building a new character from scratch is going to be painful lol, though fortunately seems they're both going to have an EXP item bonus event and putting resin into the battle pass which will help alleviate this issue

also I get the feeling that Welkin Moon is basically intended to be a membership fee. You can play without it, but you get so few rolls that you're going to have a hard time rolling who you want in the gacha.

Pretty much yeah, it also slightly bothers me that it's on a fixed period sub where missing a few logins means losing that many primos but oh well

Managed to clear both dungeons so far. Yukari and her support shield made a huge difference on the owl. At 6000 gems saved now. Probably hoard for Jun even though Nozomi is my only 3*.

The Nectar I don't actually mind as much since Whopperflowers usually drop 3-4 t1 and 1 t2 material, so you can rack up some pretty quickly. Lapis are more annoying because with my Ganyu/Mona/Fischl/Xiangling party I don't have a good way to break them, Xiangling takes like 20 seconds of whacking. Sword characters do slightly better but really you want a Claymore, so I'd have to take one for manual farming. Might have to do that anyways because you need them for the Geoculus finders.

Incidentally, the Geo Hypostasis has the exact same problem, if you don't have a leveled Claymore character you're kind of boned (one of the event boss's attacks is just undodgable shockwaves until you break a rock, Xiangling barely damages it and elemental attacks do nothing). I ended up just settling for low scores on his stages of the event.

also I can't imagine Hutao will be anything but a main DPS. Given that she has to sacrifice her own HP to use her skill it'd honestly be really disappointing if she isn't good. I'm actually slightly concerned because I don't have Jean or Bennett which might make Hu Tao risky for Abyss, though I do have Barbara and Diona.

My love for Ninon knows no bounds. In general the stories in this game have been great so far.

I had to bite the bullet and lvl up my Razor's artifacts, cause I could get away with wasting a slot on him for the geo bosses in the event, but not for the final battle yesterday.

The 300 is a one time bonus. You can switch your focus to PR3 primarily by going to the Research Academy and clicking on the Research Focus button. If your focus is PR3, you'll see more Mainz related research projects.

Yeah I just switch to my Noelle sideparty in mining areas like Hulao, though if you can manage it, drop attacks with sword/spear characters actually do about the same damage to mining deposits as a single claymore strike so you don't need to switch your party members around for just the random one when wandering about

Aside from getting over 2k for the first one I haven't really bothered with chasing high scores for the latter Hypostases lol, although Noelle is actually one of my leveled characters so the Geo isn't a terribly bad fight for the most part (Aside from eating up tons of time because you need to bust the pillars) since her shield protects her from a lot of its attacks and her ult lets her finish the final DPS check in one go.

Barbara/Diona's healing is especially interesting since their fields can make reactions with fire which is a decent combo for added DPS. They do at least seem to be tuning the beta characters to a higher standard upon actual release (Aside from Zhong Li apparently lol) so she might end up being more reasonably practicable to use

I had that exact build, but my units succumb before they get the skill up, and if they didn't OHKO with a skill then they were fucked. I'm going for another low coin build though. I think with enough RNG, it has the highest chance of going the furthest

I'm using Lion's Roar on Keqing but the black sword is apparently better. I'm thinking of either going full thundersoother + physical with Kaeya support for superconduct or full thundering fury + C6 Bennett

Yeah, it's rough. Even though I'm buying three stamina refills a day (for 40 jewels each, before they increase in price for the later ones) I still feel like I have to choose between gear grinding and memory shard grinding and can't possibly make good progress on both in the same day. But because the memory shard grinding is limited in how much I can do per day and the gear grinding can be done any time, I usually use most of my stamina on the memory shard grinding even though I know gear grinding would probably be more beneficial to me right now.

Yeah my units in Priconne are hitting rank 6 and the gear rng is ridiculous sometimes. Seriously morale draining when I spend 100-150 stamina and I can't get 5 fragments to finish an equip.

And yeah, the gear grind is real lol. My team is rank 5 right now, working on rank 6. The brief time I played the JP version a triple drop was going on and I got spoiled HARD.
