PS5 is such a huge upgrade even for playing PS4 games its crazy. My fat PS4 is so painfully slow and its pretty loud too. I never sell consoles, but my PS4 basically has no reason to exist now other than the HBO Max app PS5 doesnt have yet. Theres no reason to go back once you get one because it runs all the PS4 stuff a lot better.

I use my ps4 to stream games from my ps5 while on my stairmaster

PS5 direct queue back open but why bother honestly. I got in within a minute or two and my wait is still over an hour.

The queue starts long before the actual drop. I got in within a minute of the actual queue going up (not the stock drop) and I still didn't get one.

Yeah that's what I thought the last time I tried using the PS direct queue. I have a feeling people have like 100 queues open so that they get into the store every 5 minutes from a different queue.

My mom was at Walmart in my town earlier today. She just gave me a tip that she heard an associate in the electronics department tell someone "we can't sell them until tomorrow morning." I called them to ask about PS5. The associate said they have 8 and there are already 8 people waiting outside. They open in 9 and a half hours (was 10 hours when I called). That's just apeshit.

Not really surprising. Theyre in insanely high demand for people who want them and for scalpers so they go fast everywhere and people will camp for them. Everyone basically feeds info to other people too.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention it, but I found out a bit after I got my PS5 that the Walmart I got it from removed somebody from their premises because he was trying to buy PS5s off people to resell

Particularly since they added a protection plan by default that you were forced to decline.

Many people reported orders where they got a protection plan and no PS5.

I officially refuse to believe that I'm going to have one before 2023. This is stupid as fuck.

I work for a retailer that sells them. I personally handled about 100 of them launch week. It's gonna be super depressing when I start having to do it again without having one.

There's absolutely no way it's going to take until 2023 that PS5s are easy to find lol. I would expect them to be fine around like March or April honestly.

Gamestop will definitely have forced bundles at that point that won't sell out if you're desperate.

Last time GameStop for some reason wouldn't let me buy bundles even while they were listed as "in-stock." As far as I'm concerned, those sold out instantly too.

Also, Wii was damn near impossible to find until well into 2009, with a 2006 launch. I managed to get one in early 2008 after months of going to every store every day and finally got lucky and got them putting them on the shelves at Target on a Friday afternoon. I don't have the luxury of wasting that kind of time these days.

Also I was mostly exaggerating with 2023 but I'm not holding my breath on getting one in 2021.

Where'd you two get one from?

What do you do if you made an order from amazon. It says it was delivered sunday, but you were home all day sunday and had no delivery? I'm missing 3 items all delivered together over 2 separate orders.

So I am getting all my stuff organized for xmas on orders, and I realize... there are 4 things missing for my son.

3 things from amazon, and 1 from walmart.

So, I scour the house. I can't find this stuff. I search the first thing... a Luigi's Mansion game for switch. Walmart has a picture of the delivery. It's too grainy to see what the package looks like. So, I search again confident this is here. Can't find it anywhere.

I search in my car, outside, etc... like 30 times. Finally, I go back outside again and look around the perimeter of my house despite the picture being on my glass door. I see a random ass walmart bag curled up under my security sign. I go to throw away the bag, and lo and behold... this has the game inside of it. This means this game sat outside for nearly 2 weeks lol. It also means it wasn't shipped but doordashed in a regular walmart bag and no shipping.

So... 1 item found.

Now, I start looking for these three items from amazon and realize they are all from the same order. Track the order. Says delivered Sunday at 9:46 am. Ohhh boy, do I know that's incorrect. I was waiting for packages that day and none came and I got emails for most of them saying they were rescheduled for monday.

Call my neighbor to check their camera for the time. No truck. No delivery. So, I am like... wtf this says it was delivered to my house. So, I have USPS Informed Delivery. It emails me pictures of my mail and all packages scheduled to be delivered by them (this is who amazon handed off to). No email for this order. Everyone but this order. So, I log into my USPS account. 15 orders listed for deliveries and delivered. This order number isn't even on the list.

So, now I am straight up confident this order was not delivered to my house and if it was delivered it went somewhere else and was labeled wrong (cuz I would have gotten the email and it been on my account if labeled correctly).

I am quite annoyed because I chose no rush shipping to make it easier on amazon, and this of course means I didn't find out about this snafu until about 12 days later.

I get a hold of amazon. OF COURSE THIS JUST HAPPENED TO HAVE THE TOY MY KID WANTED THE FREAKING MOST IN IT. The freaking stupid ass King's Tomb Treasure X thing. A Marvel's Legend Dr Doom because he wanted a Doom toy real bad and the Super Mario Celebration Monopoly.

This lady is like I'll issue a refund, and I was like how does that help my kid whose christmas is going to be ruined? She is like I can issue you a promo for one item! I was like I highly doubt you are gonna issue a promo for the NOW LOWEST COST CUZ SOLD OUT 3RD PARTY $140 King's Tomb. (All 3 items are third party now cuz sold out on amazon). She is like no, but I can issue a refund for all items and we can shop together for similar items. I'm like there is no similar item to this freaking toy. I am pretty heated. So she is like can I issue the refund. I am like I guess. Can you tell me how you are divying up the refund because these are 2 different orders you merged and one used reward points and gift cards in addition to a card. She can't possibly tell me how it will be divided or processed. Ok, I am sure. Whatever.

So, she processes the refund and she clearly had enough with me. She was like anything else? I'll give you a promo. It's $20. I'm like and I can't use this on third party stuff? She is like nope! I am like whatever... She goes okay nothing else then! I'm like yo hold up, can you at least process me a $6 Gift Card so I can buy this Dr Doom toy for the price I originally paid (was now $6 more). She is like oh my I dunno. I'll have to ask. Like 10 seconds later, oh no I couldn't possibly process you a gift card. Okay, bitch. You process gift cards any other time you fuck shit up. So, I was like I guess a $20 promo I can't use on any of the items I originally purchased is the price the billion or trillion whatever amount company Amazon is now is not willing to cross for a child's christmas about to be partly ruined. She is like Guess so! And ends the chat.

When you order something and when you give it to someone are two separate things. If I find a good deal, I certainly would buy something and then hold off on giving it until a later date.

• Maybe have someone else search your home? A fresh/different set of eyes can help, though it sounds to me like the package was never delivered.
• Maybe the package is still in a USPS warehouse someplace? Can you check to see if there's a depot or something where undelivered packages go?

There isn't really an easy mix up, but my house is sometimes difficult to find.

If a neighbor had it, I am sure they would have given it to me.

If USPS had it, that would mean it is in my local office. I can try but I don't know why they would have listed it as delivered at a specific time then.

I made a list of the things he wanted and I waited til black friday to see if any of it went on sale. In this case, this item didn't so I was just like whatever and ordered it at full price. However, I generally try to buy things as cheap as possible to get more Christmas for your money.

Last thing I would try is to reach out to my local USPS and see what they have to say.

Hopefully there was just a glitch in the system somewhere and you'll magically open your door one day with this "lost" package on your doorstep.
