I don't think so, man. There was a few where you got extra if you put it towards an AAA title coming out or a next gen console, but nothing crazy

Gamestop has actually gotten worse about trading in, since the semi-close down due to covid, they stopped taking LOTS of game in and lowered lots of the trade in values

What's the deal with gamestop's being so empty now? Last few I have been in over the last few weeks look like they gutted their stock. Probably by over 50%, they look bare

Can't help but think I'd definitely take advantage of that B2G2 deal for 7th Gen, depending on what's available. Would be good for collecting some games. Hopefully the product quality of preowned hasn't dropped.

I cant even imagine GameStop Black Friday this year. Theres like a 5-6 person limit in the store due to Corona so there would probably be several hours of waiting to just get in because people will still be stupid as fuck and go out shopping still

Really? It's like a 20-25 person limit where I am depending on store size. I laughed when I saw it because I hadn't seen even half of that in any store near me for years

It was a 4-6 person limit at the start of COVID but hasn't been that way for a long time now where I am.

We have a very small GameSpot in Central NJ that's got a 4 ppl limit

Yep, mine has been sticking with the 4-6 limit all this time. Im in a super small town, but even then I wouldnt be surprised if there was a long line on Black Friday anyways.

Target has always had a B2G1 free deal about 3 weeks before Black Friday, and it is almost always a sucker's bet because the prices of games are usually lower than their b2g1 comes out to in the end on Black Friday itself, usually. It's why Target tried to exclude the newer gen games but people found ways to trick the system to include them.

There's something hysterical about GameStop online prices. I mean, really:

• Who is paying $35 for MediEvil 2?
• Who decides to pay $25 for the PS3 version of GTA:SA when you can pay $10 on PSN or just pay $4 for the physical PS2 copy?
• I get $75 for Pokemon Emerald, but it's still beyond hilarious that it cost more than most preowned consoles.
• Actually, that goes for most Pokmon games listed.
• Why is NFL Street 2 $35?
• Who is still paying $20 for Sonic 06?
• There are N64 games that cost more than a preowned N64 console?

Really, who made up these prices? There are some games that are incredibly well-priced, and some that are sensible, but you'd think no one really pays attention to their online store. Actually makes a physical store visit seem preferable. Go into a physical store, you could probably spend $100 and leave with 30 games.

Just an observation. The B2G2 for 7th Gen is still a nice deal. As long as you go for the cheap stuff.

Look up Def Jam Fight for New York. I think that title was a PS2 million seller. That should be the most common game in the world. Its fucking valuable now because everyone wants it. The demand is that high

I have a few Funko Pop chases, the Porg and Sub Zero and Iron Shiek. I also have a random Pearl (Steven Universe) Pint Size Hero figurine (also Funko) thats barely an inch tall. Thats worth more than my chases.

It doesn't matter if theres better figures that are meant to be more valuable or even better figures of Pearl herself, those various factors determined this is worth more and thats just how it is

Fire Emblem, NSMBU, Mario Aces, Luigi's Mansion 3, Splatoon 2, Mario Maker, Yoshi, Link's Awakening.

it has been interesting to not see Odyssey, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Xenoblade, or BOTW much, if at all. i'm assuming some notable deals are coming in the direction of at least the older titles there. but yeah, FE for $30 is a sweet price point.

honestly the former request doesn't seem particularly difficult. that already happened last year, so you'd probably be getting some good stuff. the latter's a bit more hard but should exist just fine since... it also happened last year.

Don't know about physical, online for sure.
That said there's more deals they're doing in the week too. Black Friday will even further drop the price of the same batch of Switch games, current expected low for FE is $27.

Personally i may just bite the bullet at $30 on Amazon because I've got promo credit that'll expire soon.
