no, venti is well OP before that, the scaling on his E is gigantic and everything about his Q Is stupidly good. ascension 4 (which I achieved last night after hitting world level 4) is just icing on the cake. everyone gets something new at 4, and venti's is especially good for the current meta where you use two characters of one element to deal most of your damage, one other element to trigger reactions, and an anemo support to trigger debuffs on swirl (which venti does, constantly)

composition doesnt even matter that much before WL3/4 because you probably haven't farmed any sets yet anyways and everything can be overcome with raw power. before hitting ascension 4, my venti's E was doing 2800-3500 damage on a like 6 second cooldown

yep, they get their locked talent, check out their talent pages

fischl's is that reactions cause a fielded Oz to hit the foe with lightning again, xiangling's is ult leaves an atk powerup that anyone can pickup, barbara's is extending her E, venti's is 15 energy to himself and one element of allies on Q end, noelle's reduces the CD on her E with normal attacks (doesn't give energy tho...), etc

constellations do enhance an important part of venti's kit but like... it's the sixth constellation and isn't as effective as the 4 piece anemo set anyways (and resistance reduction has diminishing returns past 0%), so you can basically ignore constellations entirely unless you're a youtuber that drops $3000 on the game

Just smack all of them first until theyre almost dead. Light a fire and then use an anemo with MC or even an AoE ult of some kind after the fire if you want.

You can lower their health down to a sliver without triggering the timer. You just have to kill them within two seconds.

My solution is plop down Xiangling in front of one group, then run over and use someone else's E on the other group. I think I used razor

Exactly what I was trying to do. It didn't work out. I guess I just suck. Crits are wrecking my attempts to beat them down evenly and hit them with a finisher.

You two just got the two characters I'm looking for and are doing exactly what I'd do with them. (Except I'd be replacing my healer rather than MC with Qiqi.)

I might get to pull 80 today. Still not sure why I have them split or I'd have hit the pity timer already.

AR32, still haven't finished the map, but I'm trying to savor what's left of it and focusing on farming mats...which is a lot less fun imo. Running the same domain 6 times for 1 weapon upgrade doesn't especially interest me. Too bad we've got a long wait before the third area is released.

A few world stories still exist but it's largely done.

It's the grind to 35 for now. Mora has become a lot rarer too.

i'm at 36 and i think i've done all the quests avaiable. It's definitly possible i missed a few tho. I'm mostly just farming the bosses and roaming looking for chests while watching something in my other monitor

Just hit 30 this morning, which came with a world tier increase. I have not been doing a good job farming mats, so I can't even ascend my pyro characters to phase two. Gotta make sure I make a concentrated effort to do that before advancing to world tier 4

I'm in a similar boat, where I've hit AR30 and am needing to refocus on grinding mats. I guess I should be prioritizing getting my characters ascended and leveled to 60, and then their weapon ascension mats? With talents and artifacts being low priority for a while still.

If you look under 'details' you can see a record of all the wishes you've done in the past month on the banner. At 5 results per page, if you can get to page 18, then it was most likely pity.

Revealed all of Liyue. The last statue I hit was quite the trek, and now I'm standing on a floating island...so high up...

Liyue has so many teleport markers. Im kinda scared to go find them all since my World Level increased and the monsters are getting brutal. I ran into 4 of those Fatui Enforcer enemies or whatever and man that was intense.

Aw yeah, got me a Venti on the last day of his rate-up! Hell of a pull overall, too, got my third Barbara and third Xiangling in the same one.

76 pulls, no Venti (or any 5*) for me. Last couple pulls were courtesy of the Welkin Moon Blessing I decided to purchase. Won't do me much good this banner, but with the pity carrying over, I should get a 5* next banner.

I just fought these guys (minus the geo shielder) at Lingju Pass, and I had to abandon the fight because I didn't have a cryo user on my team. I couldn't get through the shield of the dude with the electro hammer, and he kept going "out of bounds" and resetting. None of those guys have an ice shield, so fire isn't necessarily required.

Ive got a couple characters at lv50, but I was advised to just focus on like 1-2 characters. I guess I should prioritize Qiqi and Venti even if I never really use him

should prioritize venti and whoever you're using as main dps (whoever you default to using regular attacks when all cooldowns are down)

especially once you get the anemo set, venti deletes minor enemies and sets up huge damage on bosses via res down

Right now Ive been maining Qiqi, Noelle, Barbara and Xiangling. Most of them are sorta hybrid characters though.

barbara does next to nothing if you already have qiqi, you need more energy generation to spam Q's more

no energy generation or damage on her E, her E requires her to be out and tickling the enemy to do any healing, E even has a massive downside in that you're setting yourself up for freeze or other elemental reactions and it might end up causing you to take more damage than you're healing up

Shame it adds wet to yourself, but I like using her with Qiqi since I can freeze enemies even easier

freeze significantly increases enemy defense too, though

if you want to disable enemies, venti's Q and E are extremely good for that, whilst also doing massive damage and setting up constant swirls

I didnt know that since it seemed like enemies I froze died faster somehow. I could probably switch up my party more, but using what I like seems to work for everything that isnt Spiral Abyss anyways. Should probably invest more in Fischl too since shes got 2 dupes

Barbara's E is a heal over time. You switch characters, and it will heal them for roughly 10% of Barbara's health three times before it fades. You don't need to have her out. Just stack her with +HP gear.

Main Team: Xiangling, Fischl, Venti, Jean.

Jean has permanently replaced both Noelle and Barbara now. Definitely hits the hardest and heals. Boba + Oz is too good.

My passive heal is like 2.4k a tick with her. It's not an emergency heal like her ult ability is but its amazing at keeping people topped off.

Also attacking with her to heal is honestly probably slower than the hot (although it heals more people)

I only have like ~16k health but i have my talents at like level 8 with the maidens set

And I use barbara over qiqi most of the time against ice bosses. But that's mainly because breaking fire shields is far more painful for me than any other type of shield, wheras i don't really need ice for anything

The over-time heal is way better than having Barbara out and attack with her. I only pull Barbara out as an attacker against fire enemies. You just need to use it proactively. That said, if I had Jean or Qiqi, I probably wouldn't be using her, even though Barbara is at con 4 for me.

all of the shields are terrible except when they melt because you happen to have the perfect characters

if you can get venti to get infused with the proper element they get deleted, but that's hard when the shield itself infuses his ult and you can't manually aim the ult

in the coop event, whenever shield enemies popped up, we'd consistently get clears at like 3:10 to 4:00. when there were no shields, 2:05 to 2:15. this was with various diluc and mona friends

water shields are the worst shield besides fire yea. Well actually they are the worst for me since i use barbara but yea.
