I suspect that's referring to the daily limit on how much ore you can forge.

In other news I didn't know about the maintenance but did just get to WL4 today. Wish I could play more to make use of the better drops, but at least I got Diluc to 70 right away. Materials are tight though.

The article also does not explicitly state it was a "Sony fanboy", just that he had a PS4 he was willing to destroy. It's possible he was a Sony fanboy showing a tremendous amount of "integrity" - if he's been bashing Nintendo games, then this is just him sticking to his guns. Most fanboys don't do that, though, and games and practices of the competition are only bad until they come to your side. Chances are, it was a Nintendo fan mad that Sony was promoting a "Zelda knockoff"

I know pity transfers but does the 50/50 also transfer? like lets say i got a 5* that was not venti on the venti banner and im pulling for Klee. Will the next 5* i get 100% be Explosion loli?

If pity didn't transfer, that would be devastating for F2P and low-spenders. However, getting a choice 5-star versus any 5-star is slightly less of a big deal. I could go either way on that one.

you either reign in your impulse and pull twice a year, or you leave it all up to fate and statistically get less

they count on disappointment and irrationality to fuel purchases

Level 30 Battle Pass reached. What weapon did you guys choose? Im leaving toward selecting the Bow since Fischl is using 3* Raven Bow and at AR31 shes getting outclassed hard. Either that or the Claymore for Noelle, but shes already using Rainslasher.

Edit: Reading the Sword is the safest pick.

they're all great and it mostly depends on who you wanna focus the most. i compared numbers and rainslasher isn't actually as good as i thought it was (I'm using razor), so i was leaning towards the claymore at first

i went with the bow because i have both fischl and venti and love them the most. same weapons will be back next battle pass though!

get a crafted one!!!! if you aren't sending your dudes on 3 ore expeditions every day you really should, after a couple days you can get the crafted weapon mats

even 4* ones that don't have great passives are still better than 3* cuz base attack from character base stats + weapon attack is more valuable than other kinds of attack (like from plumes)

i'm ~40 pulls past the pity timer from the venti banner where i pulled diluc.

I actually do not want to pull klee at all (not even remotely interested in her playstyle or character), but i want to pull xingqiu and then save up the remainder to pull a 5* on the following banner.

Yeah, maybe, but I feel like the developers at GI set out to make a game based on Breath of the Wild, and weren't sure how they wanted to monetize it, and only settled on a gacha-style system because of how the leveling and party assembly works. The game is so incredibly not in-your-face about it's offerings. I was happy tossing the devs $5.99 for the Welkin's Blessing to support them, but I don't even feel remotely compelled to pull out my wallet otherwise, and the game doesn't work very hard to convince me.

Or at least, I should say, I didn't feel compelled before. No idea where things are going for me now. AR35 last night, so it's time to make some bigger decisions before I blow all my resources. So much focus on characters that I've basically swept all the weapon discussion aside until now.

I agree with this. Klee does not seem like a good substitute for Venti. She's very clumsy to use and doesn't seem to fit a very clear-cut role. But I won't be pulling because I never got Venti, and I'm already really close to pity. I'm regretting that a bit now. I hadn't convinced myself he was much of an upgrade to the MC until I saw him in play during the crucible event, but there's literally no way to get him currently.

klee is a main DPS and venti is a hard support, they're not comparable in the least and work best on a team together

Nothing wrong with that. Just pull for whoever you want. Klee might not return for a while after this so if you want her might as well go for it.

I swap Barbara in here and there if Im against fire enemies or characters I want to keep frozen-locked. I swap Venti in sometimes too, but not very often. Also uh I really do think Claymore users do extra damage against frozen enemies? Whenever I freeze somebody and swap to Noelle she shatters the ice and seems to do good damage, but maybe its just a neat effect. Its pretty satisfying at least.

yeah, that's the shattered reaction triggered by using a claymore user on a frozen target

freeze itself does no damage; shatter does damage on the higher end for transforming reactions (superconductor 1x, swirl 1.2x, electrocharged 2.4x, shattered 3x, overload 4x)

it's harder to take advantage of and harder to set up than others though, and you shouldn't be building Elemental Mastery (one of the only things that scales Shattered damage) on noelle cuz being geo she doesn't really do reactions much. i think chongyun takes advantage of it pretty easy though

(also note that triggered shattered multiple times does not cause multiple instances of aoe damage; they balanced the higher damage reactions this way. swirl and superconduct cause an aoe for every hit enemy though)

... Traveler keeps losing purpose. Right now she's just easy to upgrade character but sword combo with a yeet skill? Got Jean, who hits harder, is tankier, and heals. Dual wind party sounds great but now got Sucrose, who can support better and I see better synergy with Mona and Fischl.

Like I can't justify her for anything beyond "oh this geo thing needs a platform to stand on" and the eventual spiral abyss second party. Which she'd be on probably only because she's so easy to level.

I can almost run a full Anemo team with Lumine (Female MC), Venti and Sucrose. I havent even touched Sucrose who is at 2 dupes now thanks to the Klee banner. I wouldve been happier with Noelle dupes.

I have qiqi and finding violet grass is like the worst thing in the game right now

Its pretty easy to find especially since she has an ability to show Liyue items on the map. The only annoying thing is the grass basically only grows on the sides of cliffs and sometimes its hard to pinpoint exactly where an item is.

The problem is she shows ALL the items on the map so if you are closer to anything else you have to get that first

Sorry, not what I meant. In terms of being the banner pull, I think she's a poor substitute.

As for being better than Diluc, I dunno. She was fun to fiddle with during her quest, but only as a novelty. When it came time to do the trial for the primogems, I found her extremely unwieldy, and not in a "you need to git gud" kind of way.

Hmm curious. Parts of Qiqis voiced lines dont match the text. Theres one where the text mentions her feeling rotten and disgusting and the voice only says disgusting

That's actually pretty common. A lot of the voice-overs don't match the text perfectly.

opinion on whether sucrose is actually good/fun seems pretty split, so if you end up not liking her it's totally viable to go back to wind mc and throw sucrose in the dumpster

but yeah... as of right now, mc is either 1) secondary team's anemo bot or 2) geo team crit buffer (and by geo team i basically mean ningguang supporter). they will be receiving more elements as time goes on though

most items are actually pretty grouped up, just figure out where the largest clusters are and you can use qiqi to pinpoint em

just gathering the 30 to the west of liyue harbor every 2 days should probably be enough for all your purposes, and i think it's pretty much just violetgrass with a few patches of cor amber and lotuses

do charged attacks and jump cancel out of it, she retains a lot of mobility that way and her charged attack is worth spamming regardless

she seemed really good when I used her in her story quest's dungeon run with a full party

Damn. The plus side to Sucrose at least is she isnt a bow user. So what talents should I be leveling up? I havent really touched those yet since Im not sure which ones are best. Ill probably focus on Qiqi first since shes my main at the moment.

levelling everyone's everything up to 3 is pretty simple, but after that you want to level up the E and Q for your supports and the regular attack damage on your main carry. fischl already does stupid damage so she's a good choice for investment (mostly for her E.... the Q's damage is whatever and is only really good for getting her E back out)

i do feel like you should main dps noelle though, cuz she's not really built as a swap character. her Q makes her regular attacks better and forces her to stay out for 15 seconds if you want to make full use of it; qiqi can just pop out and use her abilities then run back to the backline most of the time

I use Noelle a lot too, but the main drawback to her is her attack speed. Ill likely invest in her too though because her design is amazing and shes always on my teams. Right now I just really need higher damage output because I cant reach Floor 5 of Spiral Abyss until I can get more stars on Floor 4. The damn barrier Mages just make any timed stuff annoying.
