I don't wanna talk about AAL forever but I'd say they would have been at $25 without the coronavirus. It seems impossible they went into the red before all of this doesn't it? But there's gonna be a hype train when all the airlines surge back up and I think it'll deflate a bit because they almost all took big hits to stay afloat.

I think my larger point is that buying now through phase 3 trials is easy money. unless the vaccine trials go poorly and then lol.

You could always research companies. 10 hours of reading every financial statement, looking up every exec, talking to everyone I could on discord channels for the stock, finding out everything I possibly could and keeping up with the news - like the insiders all buying shares the last few weeks - paid off.

Oh hey that was me! Good job getting in on that at the right time. I sold for a minor loss. Always believed in it too, since it's hard to go wrong with a Covid stock, but just wanted to throw money elsewhere at the time.

I really wanted to buy it when it dipped back below $3 and then I waited it kept going up and up. Oh well. Lesson learned that just because you don't get something at the bottom doesn't mean it's not worth getting. Could've made an easy double even getting it yesterday.

It dropped because of earnings. While great, record-time income, they were still in net-lose

While I don't think any of us have enough money to actually cause stock prices to move by buying them in any appreciable way, it's probably better not to suggest anything that looks anything like market manipulation. Pump and dump schemes are illegal and we don't want to create any appearance of one.
