I never hit a 100k. I WOULD have hit 100k if my buy limit order the day before to more than double my shares (20 cents below the price at the end of that day, 4.63) went through. I was cool not selling because I was in on AVCT so early I don't mind ignoring the noise of the day trading market. Aaaaand then I realized warrants were a way more enormous multiplier of your money so now I want the most money possible to throw at them, so I sold some AVCT shares a little over 8 like a goddamn chump to throw there.

This will be over 14 at some point next week but the point is again that I could have so much more money to throw at the warrants :( They skyrocket with the stock. Basically, I have to quit punishing myself for previous trades. The only reason I didn't sell at 60k total account value was that in my mind was the thought that it SHOULD be a 100k trade. And punishing yourself for what you could've done is just a surefire way to never make money.

TLDR: I'm literally the worst trader ever who is still making money somehow. Yeah my account is back below 40k and was at over 60k pre-market yesterday, and all I had to do was set goddamn stop limits wtf.

What's the expiration and strike price on the warrants?

Expiration is April 27, 2025 and strike price is 11.50. I have no desire to exercise them, the play is selling them back. 52 week high is 4.92 and that's when the stock (still as a blank check company) traded barely above 10.

In news not considering my stupidity: seriously, if anyone one here has Moonroof money, throw 100k at the warrants while they're cheap and don't be a dolt like me and sell/stop limit them when they hit 4+. They were trading at 4.52 when the stock was only at 10. Theoretically they could trade around 6 to 8 if the stock hits 20 as the AVCT discord seems to believe possible post ER, but at the very least 4 is more of a guarantee. And those discord guys are fucking smart.

I currently have 30,600 AVCTW shares and will sell whatever they hit post ER in hopes just to do it again. Massive potential for me to still make 100k+ trade. If I actually fucking sell this time. I should figure out a good trailing stop order maybe.

Expectations for ER are very high but it's quite possible it still won't have another run that strong (it hit over 14 pre-market yesterday), who knows. Acquiring that UCaaS company probably was the biggest news they have, but most of the AVCT discord (I can send an invite if anyone wants it) seems to think they wouldn't have released great news before the ER if the ER was bad; they'd have done it the other way around. The theory is that with Computex numbers they have way more cash than the previous financial statements let on, which is actually quite obvious. I think the real long play here is that investors become super interested in a company exponentially growing through acquisitions, especially in the tech space, so many folks in early aren't planning on selling anything until $20 common stock and 7+ warrant price no matter how long they wait. But I totally botched timing this otherwise awesome stock and now that I am in on the warrants I'm 100% selling it and my commons if there's a crazy post ER run.

Please understand what you are doing here. You are essentially taking $20,000 and betting it on one spin at a fair roulette table. Yes, they got rid of the green spaces, so your odds are okay, but you are still making something that's very much like an all or nothing bet. Some big investor could come in tomorrow, decide AVCT is a great opportunity and undervalued and offer to buy out AVCT for $11.50 a share, and the shareholders would gladly take that deal, because they'd make more than 50% overnight. If that happened your warrants would go to ZERO.

Now I'm not saying that you won't make a fortune with this; I'm just saying it's super risky. There's a reason the warrants are so much cheaper than the stock, and that's because the company obviously has value, but the warrants don't unless the stock price goes up.

Ahhh okay red sox. Hmmm yeah, I don't think big companies are in on AVCT yet except AT&T because they share all the same execs.

August 14th is the earnings. See, still an undiscovered/undervalued stock at these prices somehow if you can't find news. The investor relations guys at AVCT will actually talk to their shareholders though, so not hard to find out the info you want to know.

Warrants value increase as the stock price increases, gravy, but are also determined by buyers and sellers naturally like common stock. It's kind of that simple, but it also often lags behind the common stock. That said, warrants were trading for under 40 cents three days ago and hit over $2 when AVCT had it's insane run yesterday....you see how that works? Exponential gain dwarfs the common stock. If AVCT can hit 20 and stay there for like a week the returns are utterly insane.

Also I finally sold XELA for a pretty solid 5k gain to throw more money at the warrants this cheap. They might get even cheaper but I don't want to risk it. Again, this next run I'm fucking selling. I want to be as super long as these discord guys but I fucked up too much with AVCT common shares to do that. Here's hoping for another crazy run post-ER, I sell all my warrants and maybe they'll get super cheap again.

So basically XELA will truly explode post ER and actually hit that $3 price target analysts have.

Nothing wrong there at all and you're still likely to make bank, though you could have bought when I was hyping the stock up under 3! It's just that it's exponentially lower gains and as undervalued as AVCT still is, it's not even close to where the warrants should be trading. AVCT held strong today, and with it at its current price the warrants should be trading over 1. And AVCT is trading cheap. Personally I took the hit on my commons selling most of them for a way lower profit than I would've made yesterday and bought more warrants in exchange. We'll see how it goes next week :D

When should I invest in AVCT? Or any other stocks that look good

Never a better time than now imo. Both of my biggest longs, XELA and AVCT are having ERs next week, I just took profits from the former in hopes that the latter's is more impressive. Don't trust XELA to have the spike it truly deserves just yet. It will happen eventually though.

When is Xs?

August 13th. AVCT's could be the 14th or earlier, 14th is the latest they have to do it so it could be any time next week.

Previously trading XELA it always went down despite progressively better ERs. Again eventually one of these is bound to change that pattern, and considering the big news they've had recently it could be this one. But I already made my decision to choose the AVCT warrants.

I have a sizable position in TRVN because I'm thinking they'll get their approval from the FDA today. I think the money is speculating on that too. It's had two random mega drops today which to me feels like manipulation to make people stop loss rather than actual insider news given it recovered in full and then some from one.

Bought a lot on one of those dips so my average share price is $2.30. Been a heck of a day. Wish me luck. I'm sure they'll get the rejection letter with my luck (why do I keep betting on bio companies) but I'm thinking it seems unlikely. Narrowly rejected two years ago with two years to plug the holes? Would be strange if it wasn't.
