I don't think anyone should be surprised there are a lot of doctored photos and fake/misleading stories on social media mixed in with the real stories. My local news station had a brief segment on a fact checking group that was going through social media posts and they brought up a few examples from both sides on fake posts/stories. Usually these kind of stories are easier to spot, but with all the craziness going on, it's pretty hard to tell the difference sometimes.

You referred to them already in your post talking about the police doing things. The forcing a weapon into the hands of a protestor is clearly not actual either. It is someone telling you thats what happened when it isn't actually the case.

And, yeah, as far as that photo goes.... That guy posted "this is the most emotional photo I have ever captured before" or so. Then someone called out that the angle clearly didn't match the photo for it to be real. I never saw him retract to admit it before but he tried to pass it off as real initially.

That does not make it okay to destroy supplies being handed out by medical professionals at stations approved by the local government for that purpose.

For instance, if you possess a backpack in which someone else has placed marijuana, but you don't know about it, you are not guilty*. If you know about the marijuana but don't know that it is illegal, you are guilty.

*This may not save you in Singapore, where you are presumed to be a drug trafficker for having more than a not-that-large amount of marijuana and there is a mandatory death penalty.

That's a bit of a loaded statement to make. On paper, if police are ACTUALLY doing their job and protecting the people, and aren't just acting like domestic terrorists, they SHOULD get paid more.

Obviously they're showing that's not the case right now, but in a perfect world....
