You expect Biden to play politics because he's running for President. It's certainly nothing at all to praise but I'm pretty sure most of us have agreed our praise basically ends at "Better than the other guy."

I was hoping Bernie'd not play politics and not feel the need to compromise.

While I'm personally disappointed, I think it's a pretty hilarious how it goes against just about everything the anti-Bernie crowd has been saying for months.

Yeah.

Ellison (Minnesota AG) explained it pretty succinctly:

Under MN law:

1st Degree Murder: Premeditated and Intent to cause a death.
2nd Degree Murder: Intent to cause a death.
2nd Degree Felony Murder: Intent to commit a felony... which results in a death.

Pretty clear he's saying they don't feel comfortable making the case that the intent of the officer was to cause Floyd's death but can make the case the officer intended to commit 3rd Degree Assault which obviously resulted in his death.

I think Joe Biden is inoffensive enough for most of these Republicans who've turned on Trump, but honestly, I imagine their change in support has little to do with Trump's abysmal handling of this situation and his being the most unabashedly bigoted President in like 50 years (though that makes a good public reason). They're probably just tired of sucking the guy's dick. These people are rich and powerful and certainly unused to kissing the ring the way they've had to the last three years.

I think a lot of these people would not turn on Trump if Bernie was the nominee. But, these people are pretty useless for a general election. They have money, but very few votes, and not many of the people with the votes like them.

I'm torn because the dog was likely well cared for despite her being a careless jerk at the time.

There are plenty of dogs out there for people to adopt.
