I'm strongly tempted to do one more pull on banner 3 even though it means sacrificing a pull on the Tactics banner. As much as I want Orlandu's Sync, I have zero interest in Gafgarrion's stuff and I hear limit breaks aren't great, so there are only 3 top prizes. This banner still has 5 top prizes for me, but none I want quite as much as Orlandu's sync.

Is Marche Awakening one of the top prizes? That's my personal hope, even more than Orlandeau's stuff.

Either one of those would be great for the torment, but Agrias and Ramza are locks so I can only bring one of either Marche or Orlandeau.

Yeah, for me it's:

1. Orlandu Sync
2. Marche Awakening
3. Ovelia Awakening

And I have Alma's awakening so I'm not sure how much even Ovelia's awakening would improve my team. How come you can only bring one, because you're bringing Tyro? In that case I'd definitely rather have Orlandu since I have his awakening too, and 30s of cap break is much better than 15.

Marche's quickcast from his Awakening/USB has been more important for getting the sub30 from what I've seen, though Orlandeau seems to be the safer option if you just want a win for the rat tails mission.

Also we're supposed to get the 5 hit earth/holy 6* knight ability this month.

Killed my last 3 Omegas today.

Ice-weak was by far the worst. Only one source of imperil in Serah's BSB (and Shiva's follow-up attack, I guess), so I couldn't even hope to keep his ice-weakness at a decent level. I was basically fightning him at -60% weakness for his last 20%. A major slog, but Rinoa succeeded shortly before the auto-eject.

I guess it's same enough to pick Ramza's awakening sine most of the fest is over and I probably won't pull the random sync banner. (now wath me dupe it on the Dream Select grab bags.)

I also used two tickets on FFVII, got Rufus glint with the first one, and Genesis Glint+ and Shelke Awakening on the second one.

Wonder if Genesis is worth using now. I can make a fire physical FFVII team for dreambreakers with Barrett and Vincent but I hear Ultima Weapon is one of the hardest so b-listers might not cut the mustard (at least till Genesis gets his stuff from the upcoming Fire Chocobo event.)

So RoP was almost a complete bust, even the awakenings went to characters I primarily have on chain duty. The lucky draws were better, and everything was worth it for the Sync. How fitting that my first two Syncs go to Cloud and Seph. Speaking of, is there a relic I can pick up in the Record Lab that goes well with his Sync? I only had his AOSB until now.

Appareny I didn't even need a lightning chain for Fanfrit.

Jesus christ damage cap + empowered/en elenent stacking is nuts. Ignus BSB + two healers and Shelke as Enteust battery = 20 second kill with just Kain stacking his USB/Awakening/Sync. I finally have an easy way to grind 6*Motes now.

Are you talking about Cloud or Seph? Regardless you're gonna want their damage cap 9 break USBs (Cloud USB1 Force Stealer Sword and Seph USB2 Pants.)

With historia crystals there's not much benefit to making an elemental realm team, other than imperils. I'd just pull out the biggest guns you have (Cloud and Sephiroth) but admittedly I haven't read up on the 7 Dreambreaker yet.

I got Aphmau's awakening with 100 gems. I'm kinda tempted to pull here because the banner is powerful overall... but I think I'm going to wait since it's weighted towards XV which isn't going to be relevant for a long time. Then I can afford one draw for TG Cid.

If you rotate commands 2 and 1 after using the sync, doesn't that give BDL9 without needing to use his USB2?

Ugh got torment Calbrena in 33.21. Got a bunch of awakenings, but they take so long to get going. I guess I could give one of them MM to start in the first chain instead of unleashing everything at the same time. Regardless, got a bunch of rubies, so that was nice.

I did my 100 mythril on the focused banner. Luckily I got the only awakening I didn't already have, Onion Knight's. I am planning to select Ramza but I'm hoping we get a chance to see the Magicite support banners before I choose... we already know they're changing the holy one (replacing Cecil's sync with Beatrix's) so there's at least a possibility Ramza's awakening could be added there.

Also I need to finish my last two Omega fights, but the dark-weak one is annoying me.

This is probably a dumb question, but maybe someone could help me out. I recently went back to this game and finally beat all the five star Magacites. I thought that was supposed to open up something new like the Dark Odin fights? But Im not seeing anything new. What am I missing?

It should open, maybe you missed one? Double check since that should be the requirement.

Maybe it's the new magicite damage % clear that says you beat them but it doesn't count towards Odin/6* magicite unless you actually kill the bosses.

Oh, that might be it. I got a complete for Typhon, but got my entire party blown out of the fight, so I technically never killed that one.

I got Lightning's dualcast holy LMR :D!

This should make Deathgaze farming a bit easier.

Got Clouds Dark Awakening, and with that nasty little combo (Darkness USB/Glint/Awakening), I was finally able to beat Lakshmi :).

That is 5/16 down, and I am sure I can replicate that kill consistently so Seph Awakening isn't a huge priority on the awakening select now.

You'll probably want Sephiroth Awakening for Alexander eventually.

Surprised no one pulled on the 100 mythril sync banner. I get folk who are in 6* Magicite/Dreambreaker level would skip it but guys still in 5* Magicite would be more likely to bite.

A guaranteed sync is worth 100 mythril if you still have a lot of content left. If it was a select instead of random or at least didn't have bsbs and osbs in the grab bag I would have bit.

You shouldn't be paying for stuff in this game unless it's a Dream Select or maaaaybe a half off gems discount like last fest. I doubt anyone put 60 bucks on the sync banner.

That endless battle was some easy peasy big rewards. Kinda funny how totally worthless giant scarletite and major growth eggs trigger the popup animation while the stuff that's actually good (artifact stones, 6* motes, EX+ lenses) don't.

100 mythril for a 1/3 chance of something i actually want isn't ideal. if anything i should have done the awakening select, but instead i gambled on banner 3 and 5 and came up short. i have nothing left now.

To be fair isn't that how most banners are? There's usually a dud character or glints/LMRs that aren't worth much without that character's sync or awakening. At least a sync is mostly self sufficient. This game's RNG will screw you over most of the time anyway so it's safer to take advantage of the selects or even the random syncs, since a random sync (assuming it's not a dupe, even then that's still a level up to that soul break) is still better than 2/22 worthless lmrs/glints

Sure, most banners are like that but you don't pull on most banners. Most banners you actually pull on should be better. For example, the fest banners with 3 syncs, you have 35% chance of getting at least one of them for 50 mythril. So as long as you're picking a banner where you want the top 3 items, that's way better than 1/3 chance for 100 mythril.

Whew, finally dealt with Dark weak Omega. That guy is harder than Alexander. I finally grabbed Sephiroth's HA, I felt silly needing it for this fight, but it's one of the strongest HAs and it'll be useful for the VII Dreambreaker.

Holy still left to go, I guess I'm waiting until Wednesday to see if we get magicite support banners with Diabolos.
