Oh yeah I forgot about those free 5* Magicite. I think when those came out I just used them as inheritance fodder for my Valefor or Alexander Magicite so I didn't have them for long.

Def+20 is still pretty nice to inherit to other Magicite since 6* Magicite bosses do use non piercing attacks frequently. Especially for mage teams.

I'm thinking with the 6* magicite omniboons all the stat boosts are questionable.

Trying to basically have my 10 inherit slots consist of

HP Boonx2
Empowerx2
Dampenx1
BWardx1
Healing Boonx1
Fast Actx1
Precise Strikesx2 (Phys)
Fast Actx1 + Mag/Mnd20 (Mag)

Course some decks will give some of those slots for free so maybe can fit a Def/Res Boon in there somewhere. By the time I feel like farming those I may have a bit better team to kill that guy though

first D450 Torment cleared! I hadn't really made any serious attempts at any of them until Dreambreakers started. Couldn't break through FFT yet, but I did clear FF5. Not sub-30 but I think I can do better, currently have a Fire setup but I would probably do better switching to Wind to take advantage of Bartz AASB2/Faris imperil/Dorgann AOSB.

In other news, I finally after all these months pulled on those bonus free draws from way back. Notable pulls: Reks boostga USB, Locke AOSB, Serah ice Chain, and Laguna ice Chain. Laguna especially is a big one since I use him in most ice battles, so this should add a lot of extra firepower.

I've beaten all 6* Magicite and I can confirm that the Omni boon isn't enough to replace stat boost boons on some of them. 6* Magicite bosses and Odin are way stronger than 5* Magicite and d450 torments.

Fast act isn't really that useful since the bosses are designed around quickcast buffs like Elara USB1 (IE in Odin and Titan's third phase you only have ten turns before they instant kill.) A stat boon would be more useful.

I don't think you'll really need mind/heal boon either if you 6* mote dive your healer.

Do you have enough Anima Lens+ for her Hero Ability? If you're going to use her for Odin, Titan or Cid Raines it's worth investing in.

I like having both mind and heal boon. Partly because your last couple slots are so marginal when you already have 2 element boosts, 2 element resists, 2 attack boon (or magic), blade ward, and spell ward. You can get like maybe 3% damage increase (less in reality because of capping) or a 15% healing boost. Healing boon affects regenga ticks too which is nice.

Mind boon is mostly nice for recovering from statuses faster (or offensive white magic) and can probably be skipped for most bosses, but eh.

Personally, I like healing 9999 with my USB entries. This was especially useful against Odin, where you could proc a Last Stand, use your USB with Last Stand, and then be able to safely survive 2 major AoE 9999 nukes.

I guess with record boards, you no longer need Mind and Healing Boon to pull that off, but I still think they're nice to have.

Nowadays, I've dropped the Mind Boon, since I already get +15 from 2 6* magicites, but I don't see myself dropping the Healing Boon anytime soon.

Not enough Anima Lenses at the moment. But yeah I was thinking of getting it and just skipping on Sky High when I get enough.

Is anyone doing the half priced banner pulls? If we were still in the Magicite era it seems like a great deal, but for Dreambreakers it's just pointless.

The FFBE characters are Wodin viable but yeah no use in Dreambreakers means I have no use for them. When the event was announced in Japan I said it was the worst time to introduce a beyond character since Dreambreakers were the new meta.

I'm considering it, mostly just 'cause DISCOUNT. But I'm about to draw 120 relics, so I'm in no rush to make hasty banner pulls. The chief thing holding me back is that I'd need multiple relics for the same character in order to make one of them viable for 6* Magicite (which is what I'm up to, for content.) Although I suppose that even with all excess gauge wasted, Syncs are likely powerful enough to be relevant.

If you're desperate to beat Ramuh or Valefor it might be worth the risk, but not if you're trying to get fire stuff. Shiva's one of the easiest 6* magicite and there's plenty of fire awakenings and syncs.

Got both Rydia's and Alpinaud's syncs over the 3x40!!
As well as Garland and Garnet's awakenings. (other three 6* were dupes)
My 9 5* consisted of Materia for Rude, Rufus, and Leo, bursts for Locke and Hauchfert, glints for Relm and Edgar, and two dupes.

Pulling twice on the half price banner is tempting, to be sure. Maybe later.

I'd draw on the BE banner for the cheap Anime Lens+ and good banner but they have some pretty ghetto animations and I hate Brave Exvius characters.

Also Beyond not getting a dreambreaker as a distant third I guess.

Got through the FF3 D450 with a L80 historia crystal and a few picks from the anima shop (Refia's Dualcast LMR and Onion's Physical Hastega) with the team of Luneth Refia Desch Aria Onion

Not bad. Should get most of the investment in the historia crystal back from the quests. 5 450 Torments down now at sub 30 (III, V, X, XIII, T). Could probably get some more but I'm just gonna wait till the quests roll out.

You have Rem's Sync right? You can probably do T-0 since Rem is so broken. You just need Deuce or an off realm bard to use Allegro and have mages or an entrustbot.

I got a new sub17 record on him with Ace's sync and Rem Awakening and using Sice as a mage since she has a dualcast dark LMR2.

Yeah. I think right now I could probably do II, IV, VI, VII, VIII, Type0. Any of the rest I'd be surprised though most of them are probably one awakening away from being doable (no rush for rewards so not going to off realm any)

Related to what you're saying is there any reason to do both versions of the 6* magicite boss? Is it just for completion/challenge sake or do they have their own rewards?

They have their own rewards of crystals and an artifact stone. Not essential but I guess it's more a of test to prepare for Wodin since he has major rewards for beating the physical/magical vulnerable versions of him.

Also you don't need awakening/syncs to sub30 D450 torments, most of the USBs that were torment trap banners are in the anima lens shop. Awakenings just makes it way easier.

Yeah, I still need to do alternate versions of 7 of the magicites. The only one I did both was Titan. I'm just waiting to get enough stuff to make it easier since I don't want to repeat some of the experiences I had the first time with ones like Ifrit, Valefor, and Ramuh. The only one I'm sure I could do right now is magic Alexander, but I'd need to get Golbez's HA and I'd rather save my EX lenses for now.

You don't need to do them it's more of a nice bonus. Plus with dreambreakers being so BS it's a way to pass the time till powercreep makes them more manageable (or moreso 6* motes and anima lens+ become more frequent)

Ugh I can't seem to beat magic vulnerable Titan. First two phases are piss easy but the third phase is way too bulky, even with Ultimecia's bUSB entry overwriting the def/res/mind buff, and I run out of hones. Also it's really tough with Alphinaud since he has to juggle chain/sync/Awakening.

Really wish I had Ulti's wind glint or that Emperor had a better wind infusion than his BSB. Wonder if I should drop Emperor for Zack so he can stack imperils.

Dreambreaker prep pull for FF3 before it closed got me a Glint+ and Awakening for Refia. Was hoping for OK Chain, but Refia's AASB actually has buffs which is pretty neat. I also got a Zidane Glint from the daily yesterday which now makes him a contender with Cloud and Bartz for most relics I own (although I use him the least by far).

Gilgamesh is confirmed for tomorrow. I'm not totally sure how hard he's going to be... his HP is close to DB/6* magicite levels but someone else said he's closer to 450 Torment. But I think you only need 7/17 clears to get all the EX lenses (enough for 3 abilities).

FF12 Gilgamesh has 3 million HP, same as Dark Odin or Titan. Not close to Dreambreaker's 4.5 million (the updated stronger one might though)

Also you want to beat them all for the rat tails, that's gonna be pretty rough for niche realms if you squeaked by with anima lens'd stuff.
