Bluestack is the general go-to for the "best" emulator right now.

One problem with Bluestacks, but maybe all emulators are the same way, is that it takes months for them to fix a problem. Another Eden was unplayable for at least three months on the at the time latest version of Bluestacks. This would be understandable if the developer put in some new security or something, but apparently the game worked fine if you used the previous version.

Burnt-out with Arknight might last a few more days and after that I'll try playing the game again, SDS is great but it's a main game great kinda great, if I get burnt-out from barely playing Arknight then imagine SDS huaha. Day 1 AK player and I'm still Lv.52 with my turtle pace.

Won't lie, I was freaking out a tad over the Noelle/Freyja stuff. I started High Dragons really late and I'm in the middle of doing eHMC with Noelle now, and I was thinking I was about to be kicked out of the meta. Then I realized Noelle is still the best option for buff bot AND baiting, which Tobias can't do, and Freyja is still 5% better skill haste and the HP helps Noelle.

Eh, I'm only lvl 54 myself, figure there's no rush to clear the content that's always available ...then again, I don't know if there's other crucial functions locked behind later story missions, like how I couldn't do Challenge/Raid mode battles for a long time because I hadn't gone far enough into chapter 2. (Hell, I'm *still* working through that chapter).

mfw in Priconne the collab event, one of its tower climb things needs me to kill the event boss on Hard 3 times and I can't even kill it once

The level 50 guideline isnt a joke. I can only kill hard bosses in 2-3 tries, and even then, its not very repeatable.

The current boss is also unusually harder than most.

I did 1 tenfold and got both Tobias and hope. Tobias is busted as hell. Infinite iframes and 100% poison uptime. Noelle is dead. RIP.

Are the other mission requirements for the flower tower doable for me if I can't even do the Hard boss right now? I just now hit account rank/level 46 and I'm one weapon away with everyone from rank 7. Just finished chapter 7 so I can farm those now lol.

Couldnt tell ya, Im not even through chapter 3.

Rank 7 weps drop from the events hard mode, so Ive been trying to farm those, but I still only have three rank 7 chars (NY Kokkoro, Neneka, Ilya).

I noticed in arena that everyone and their grandma uses Princess Pecorine as their tank, so I raised mine up and I'm giving her a spin in chapter 8. Goodness, wtf? lol

Hopefully I do better in arena now, too. My Nozomi was getting chewed through like butter.

You can't, unfortunately. I use the translation feature on my phone's s-pen and it actually works really well.

I can't be the only one wondering if the Coronvirus will impact upcoming updates for our beloved gachas. I'll be pretty bummed if DL & 7DS don't get updates....what the hell will I do to keep busy while in quarantine? Come on Cygames, release the next Gala banner early!

It already affected Arknights and slowed down the response from their customer support. Not sure if itll affect actual gameplay stuff.

Ah, that stinks. Makes sense though considering the dev team is based in China. Things seem to be getting better in China though so hopefully it won't affect Arknights much more going forward.

Cygames is in Japan and I haven't heard anything about the virus there. Best wishes to the GOAT mobile dev!

For the original Chinese/Japanese (depending on where the game originated) servers, it might possibly cause some delays. For us playing on US servers that are merely getting updates that have long since been completed on the original server, we should be mostly okay.

So Symphogear XDU is doing something very interesting with its story events in the EN version compared to the JP version. Despite the previous "One Winged Wielders" event still having about a week to go, they've already started a new "Kimono Rumble" event and the two will overlap for the coming week, which I've never seen happen in any gacha game I've ever played before. However, it also appears that these two events both last 50% longer in the EN version (21 days for OWW and 18 days for Kimono, compared to 14 and 12 in JP) compared to the JP version. There's also a new ranked PvP mode called the "Challenge Cup" but I'm not gonna bother with it. I'm mostly in this game for the side stories.

I'm not sure if I like the idea of events overlapping like that because it might cause trouble for people who might have two events they really want to grind come back-to-back, but I definitely like the idea of giving us more time to grind during each individual event. Anyways, the Kimono Rumble event brought us some nice new cards for Chris, Kirika, and Shirabe. Chris got two, and her second one is the welfare 4-star for grinding the event.

On an unrelated side note, a heads up for anyone here who plays or follows Azur Lane: the AL anime finally returned today after a three month production delay. The second-to-last episode went up on Funimation today subbed, the finale will air next week, and the English dub versions of those episodes will each come two weeks later. It took a while, so let's see if these final two episodes were worth the wait.

It's pretty crazy how much of a difference it made switching Nozomi out for Princess Pecorine in PvP o_o I also finally ran out of my surplus stamina from being a newbie, so I'm now scrounging for stam like everyone else

PriPecos skill is hard to control for the event boss. Yeah, it does amazing damage if shes at full health (one time she crit for over 100k, thats a goddamn one-third of the bosss HP), but it also seems to make the boss use its skill faster, and NY Kokkoro/Maho cant heal fast enough, leading to partial team wipes.

On the flip side, activating PriPeco below 50% gives her guts, but can also throw off the bosss timing.

In re:Granblue, I don't think we'll be seeing much effects from coronavirus if any, at least not right away on the game itself. Events are usually planned, written out, and voiced out months in advance. I'd argue it will be the same for most gachas in general. Though I can't be sure about games where the development team are in China.

It will definitely affect real life events though like cons and stuff like tech support will probably get affected as well.

I'm really interested in seeing on how it'll affect profits. I am a bit worried about Love Live All Stars WW.

ETA: I keep forgetting that All Stars WW was released like two weeks ago so we won't be getting any sort of information until the end of the month.

Finally got my Office in Arknights upgraded to lv 3. Now I can be disappointed by bad tags with maximum efficiency.

Incidentally, I swear that every time I've gotten a tag that allows a 4*, there's another tag in the mix like Debuff or Shift that would lead to a different 4*. And still not a single 5* or Senior Operator tag, I really want a 5* or 6* Vanguard to invest in. Wish I could buy Siege but 120 yellow certs in 5 days definitely isn't happening, I guess she'll be back someday.

I can see how someone would find it boring, since the movement and attacks are automatic except for the ultimate skills, which you have to wait for the bars to fill for. It turned me off as well at first but I kept trying out a few team compositions and going through the main missions and I'm enjoying the strategy in that aspect. The team composition, and later on, when to use the skills that would be most beneficial, or not using them because you know you'd need a certain one later. I'm also enjoying seeing my team grow incrementally stronger both with leveling and ranking up. If I had a gripe, though, it'd be that the character levels are tied to your account level. If your account is level 39, your characters can only be 39.

Vanguardwise I was lucky the shop had Texas early on and I got angery russian schoolbear on my opening roll too so those two settle my vanguard needs for the most part, but the game does kinda have a lack of higher-star vanguards - The opposite of the Guard glut problem (Guardknights!) - Heck, CN's only now just got a second 6-star Vanguard.
Might be worth investing in Courier from the credit shop if nothing else good comes by, or just use Fang I guess - 3*s are moderately cheap enough that you won't feel too bad investing in them and replacing them later

Vanguards are kinda weird in this game, their sole purpose feels like.. there are just there to generate DP points and you swap them out late game when you have enough to replace them with other operators if you still have units left to field.

I don't think they are strong enough at that point to be worth it Vs. Other types of operator. They are probably the least important outta the bunch when it comes to selecting ones to field, so it doesn't matter who you use. Well if I have to be critical I'd say that Texas is the best Vanguard (better than Siege) operator and that's because she has her OP wide-range 2 sec stun;giving your other team more chances to survive and deal more.

The only reason I would field a bunch of them is in DP tight maps like CE or what 5 that gives you EXP or was it LMD?

Well yeah, that's what 'vanguard' means, they're your early troops. That aside Texas is definitely not usually better than Seige, she's the squishiest among the top vanguards while Seige is the exception to the usual Vanguard rule by having the raw stats and DPS to last into lategame. There's a reason no gameplay tier list ranks Texas as highly.

Also Vanguards are super important for Annihilation where there's no passive DP gain.

Until Arknights gets its own version of Aigis merchants (think Siege + Mayer + ranged), vanguards are always going to be early-game/Annihilation only.

Siege/Texas is supposedly a bit of a core in a pretty large % of CN players' teams. They're both combat sufficient and provide other utilities down the line, like Siege's AOE/general dps and survivability compared to other vanguards and Texas' big AOE stun that lasts quite a while at max skill level.

If you just need DP, they can cover that too, since all vanguards have the auto DP skill. I'd say losing a bit of overall DP is usually worth though, unless you're gonna shove them in a lane with little combat

For what it's worth where their S2s are concerned Siege needs a supply of enemies to generate DP while you can just hit Texas's/Zima's switch even when there's nothing around. Bit awkward sometimes when Apple Pie just shreds everything outside Siege range and she has no way to activate her stacks.

Yeah Siege is just really good for her combat ability compared to other vanguards. Though if your apple pie is ripping through things, you probably don't need that much dp yet at that point. But putting the auto dp on her is usually a pretty valid strat as well

I usually like keeping Texas and Siege out the whole battle lol. Im noticing that since things are getting tougher Texas cant really handle as much anymore though, so I drop Saria or Chen in front of her, and Lappland behind Siege so she can still smash things for DP

oh yeah, I hope the shop has Texas or Zima soon since it'll rotate when it removes Siege. In retrospect I don't think upgrading the Office actually increased the refresh speed, just the maximum number of refreshes and recruitment slots, which isn't as important.

Provence seems like she'd be really hard to use just because her range sucks so much. I have a hard enough time finding good spots for Skyfire, and short range means you can't do stuff like hitting enemy Casters before they hit you, which is really important on some maps (Lungmen Outskirts Annihilation in particular, though my problem there is just the Hateful Avengers chewing through Liskarm's HP in two hits).

I don't play the game, but I do watch the anime and listen to the music. Morfonica's character designs are beautiful and their debut song was awesome. Their combination of rock music with a backing violin reminds me of Yellowcard, which makes me really excited to hear more from them.

Given that FF: Brave Exvius is all about cramming all the cameos they can, and that FFT: War of the Lions its self had Cloud, Balthier, and Luso as guests, I would certainly hope FFBE: War of the Visions would include more franchise representatives.

Note that most ranged/healing units have an extended range at E1 that you can preview, might be worth prioritizing.

Liskarm in particular isn't well-suited for tanking particularly strong hits unfortunately since her mitigation isn't on demand, isn't very strong and doesn't last particularly long. Cuora would work much better, her S2 is activated and its mitigation is pound-for-pound the strongest defender mitigation skill in the game. Cuora's available in the shop if you don't have her, although she's a 4* so she could have spooked you a couple times by now. Of course you'll still need the DPS to kill the katanabois in time, but they get their damage boost at half HP so you should save your skills for that moment.
