Man, the dash of disaster banner is absolutely destroying me. Rate is up at 8 rn. I just want to get the water blade because I want a close range unit. My team is all ranged.

Arknights, finally got my base up to 4.0, so Im wondering how everyone else built their base.

Im assuming everyone is using three power plants, so Im debating between 2 trading posts/4 factories, or 1 TP/5 factories, or 3 of each.

Also, refresh my memory, does the game force you to build the workshop before the office?

@LinkPizza It depends on what type of unit you need. Defenders and Medics are overall good to have (and Silence is an especially good Medic. But I just went with my favorite and took Projekt Red lol

I finally 100% all normal difficulty in Saint Seiya Shining Soldiers.

Going to get started on hard. Hope to be able to do very hard soon ish so I can start farming gold saint medals.

There will probably be a 4* since they no longer advertise those, but having a second banner for a character that was in the event story from the start just really rubs me the wrong way. Not even a new dragon. I'm aware that DL needs more revenue from Japan but this isn't how I thought they'd be going about changing it

Did another 10 pull and finally got my rate broken. Nimis, Corsaint Phoenix and Sylas. Happy that I got the two dragons since Ive been wanting Phoenix since she was introduced. Nimis is really cute, so Im happy I got him.

no comment on Sylas. Lol.

That is kind of weird. Even with Hunter Sarisse, we didnt see her until she had a part in the story... Other than the title screen. But that doesnt really count since even the prince was there... (and wasnt even in the game in monster hunter gear)...

Some gacha games on there, notably Monster Strike and my favorite of all time, Puzzle and Dragons at the 17th

There's also Crossfire and Arena of Valor but they aren't mainly gacha I think.

Fate pretty down there, and I doubt even a significant portion of that is the VN, more Grand Odor

The voice actress for Mitsuba is one of the most highly requested VAs right now. This is going to be a huge money maker despite no dragon.

Well eroge in general is a pretty big misnomer since like a massive majority of VNs are technically eroges. The version publicly rated by a ratings board and sold usually has all the sex scenes and such stripped out.

Would be interesting to see if FGO can keep it up. It's like I see shit like Crossfire or Arena of Valor up there, and then I realize an even smaller Japan is keeping several series up here singlehandedly

I went with Pramanix ...but that was due to purely superficial biases and not whether she was actually "the best" or anything like that.

I'm not sure. Usually anything that could drive up the age rating to porn levels is usually all stripped out. I think nudity is still kept out of video games in general. But the way VN is sold in Japan is so much more different. When they have to go digital, usually you meet all the usual expectations of whatever age rating it's given in any other genre. Some eroges end up becoming rated for teens and such because the content around the sex that would be stripped out are so harmless

General consensus is Silence > the rest, but I hate glasses girls and got two Silences already. Though I also got Liskarm and Red, so I should just use my voucher on Pramanix.

For the most part, Gravel works just fine for fast-redeploy and is also cuter, so Red is probably lowest priority.

Liskarm isn't amazing, but if you're lacking a ranged melee op, she's not the worst choice.

So Liskarm is a really good tank and has a massive utility perk. So usually for skills you need to wait a certain amount of time, like 1 second = 1 sp. But she has a passive that gives 1 sp to herself and all the units within 1 tile of the 4 cardinal directions 1 sp every time she's attacked. That's really really good because it allows some broken units to really spam their skills if you place them in a strategic way. She has the most endgame potential

Silence is a great single target healer with a terrific and flexible AOE heal. Her skill charges up to produce these drones that don't take deployment or DP and can be placed anywhere that isn't restricted. The drone will heal within the surrounding 8 squares and is generally a full heal over about 5 seconds, but it can be slow so you have to be quick to react. Also if you deploy Silence, she doesn't automatically come with a drone

Pramanix is a debuffer with a bit of 2 target damage at max promotion. Her damage is nothing special, but she can reduce the def/magic res of enemies within her range, which can be huge for stages where you're having a hard time killing tanks and such. She also enhances damage for enemies below 40% hp, which is great. But her usage definitely isn't universal. Her utility won't be necessary til later on, but she's pretty great in general and don't need to be fully promoted. If you haven't build up 2 op snipers for example, she can let you get away with using Kroos a little longer.

Projekt Red is a quickly redeployable offensive unit with an AOE stun on entry. She's pretty great if you really know how to use her. Timing her stun to interrupt bad things and eliminating threats become really really valuable the further in the game you go. Some things are resistant to her stuns but at least her burst will go through, and her follow up damage isn't that bad either, just that she is prone to dying. But a cheap unit that's easily resummonable is great in general. However, I have heard that Gravel is potentially better because she's even cheaper than Red by like twofolds even at max potential, though there are things Red does that Gravel can't do, since Gravel is more or less just a totem that soaks up a bit of damage.

Honestly though? Can't really go wrong with any of them. Just roll a bit and decide accordingly

Minor correction. Silences drone costs 5 DP. But its still one hell of a good skill because you can drop it anywhere you can deploy a unit and it starts healing right away. I just wish that it did damage when its timer runs out since the description says that it self-destructs :<

Oh huh yeah I forgot. I guess usually by the time Silence is producing drones, I usually don't worry about DP anymore

Some useful data? Well according to the Chinese, it would be Red>Liskarm>Pramanix>Silence, but that is probably accurate in terms of later game usefulness.

Also Texas is so high up. I did recommend to you guys to use the gold tickets for her on launch period. Wasn't sure about it but I guess the Chinese playbase would agree. She lets you start with more DP and has a 3 second stun. Pretty great

Patients race is predisposed to heavy sleep patterns that are largely reversed from those of other species. Patients infection has interrupted the regularity of her sleep patterns :(

HOT DAMN, I thought Seven Deadly Sins was just going to be another cheap-arse anime focused mobile gacha game. The production value here is going through the roofs and over the clouds, feels like I'm playing an actual good PS4 JRPG.

If you read the manga before or have watched the anime then I highly recommend it. Manga is still great but the anime fell off in terms of its quality somewhere in season 2/3, but the game just went up another level and reminded of the good times when the show was new.

Epic 7s prettiness wore off me fast. SDS Grand Cross legit looks like a PS3 game. And it's pretty fun so far. There's a bunch of sidequests to raise affinity for characters and villages so at least it's not just the regular lineal gachas I'm used to a la Grand Summoners

I'm enjoying Grand Cross quite a bit. The game is gorgeous, probably one of the best looking that I've played on mobile. There's no lack of things to do and it doesn't seem too stingy on currency. I rerolled on the intro gacha, got Green Meliodas, and have been saving since then (at a little over 3 multis saved up now having started a few hours ago). I don't trust Netmarble but as of right now the game is in a decent state aside from some optional ads that people have been complaining about.

Oh boy, do I want to know how Arknights is advertising its self?

I know Langrisser Mobile caught shit for trying to sell its self on T&A alone, like it was something you'd play from Nataku. And when it did put out more G-rated ads, it was boasting about being a "Fire Emblem killer" as if somehow it was the bigger SRPG franchise between the two (and by extension, the "better" mobile option compared to FE: Heroes).

Despite how the saying goes, there *is* such a thing as bad PR, and I know a lot of folks that were soured on the game and never touched it.
