It has been apparent for some time that you do 90% of your shitposting from your alts. And so as many users have I added your alts to my ignore filter but left your main untouched. This meant you could still see my posts, but I would not see yours unless they were made with your main. This felt like a reasonable compromise and an overall quality of life improvement.

But then, presumably because I still called you out on your crap from time to time, you blocked me with your main. Not "ignored" so you wouldn't see my posts, but "blocked" so I could no longer see yours. That seemed excessive, but if you are hell bent on building a safe space for yourself where the likes of big bad FD can't interact with you then who am I to interfere. The end result being that I would no longer have even the limited interactions I was having with your main.

But when over half the activity in my topic become notifications about posts that don't even exist for me I get annoyed. You made a choice to prevent me from even seeing your posts yet you reserve the right to reply to mine. After 9 out of 13 posts are phantoms I asked you to correct the matter. But you decided not to and so 2 phantom posts later I'm done with it.

I sincerely hope you have a good life and you aren't surrounded with the level of negativity that you project online. If you absolutely need to talk about hearthstone somewhere I'm sure Reddit would love to have someone to continue to dunk on.

If you stop being a dick, I'd be more than happy to unblock your main account since that has to happen in any future mafia games anyway.

I think I lost 3 games from rank 10-5, which I just got to now!

My deck tracker has me at 8-1, but I played a handful more on mobile.

Two losses came in the mirror, and one to a Holy Wrath Paladin in which by turn 10 I had drawn one Galakrond related card.

What about those of us running Galakrond Shaman, except we remove Shudderwock and his package and stuff a bunch of expensive dragons in there instead?

And by us I'm pretty much exclusively referring to myself, because no one who wants to win games would be playing this deck.

Edit: Actually, this time next week I fully expect to have a total of ten decks built. Whizbang and BIG DUMB DRAGONS, one for each class.

I can not agree to any list of cool decks that contains Quest Druid unless it's the superior, wild-only quest.

I would like to replace it with the deck I just played a game against, Albatross Priest. Nothing like taking a good 15-20 turns, playing Subject 9 and drawing the full five and still finishing the game with 36 cards in your deck.

I got my two packs today for the current part of the quest chain, and also got a classic pack for a Tombs of Terror quest. All three contained legendaries.

My excitement can not be contained....

Also, I'd like to rescind my application of Albatross Priest to the cool decks list. I've played four games with Reno Dragon Hunter and three of them have been against this deck.

Shaymin is ridiculous on ladder. I've been having fun with one of J Alexander's decks. It just goes face, always. Just deals damage and can get over taunts. It's not top tier or anything, and the margins are tiny, you're always almost dead and Myra's enough face damage to pull it off, but it's fun.

I've got 9+ Mogus, so I'm hoping that gets the bat, along with roughly 1/2 of Shaymin's current standard legal collection. Fuck Shaymin.

Arena tip: don't keep Arcane Intellect in the mulligan against a Hunter. I just had someone do this against me at 9 wins. People are so greedy with all of the discover dragons right now. Hunters that curve out just clean up.

I haven't played constructed since literally last July and went 20 to 5 so far with my version.

It's just a broken deck.

I feel like coin evil totem after a turn 1 pass wins enough games that I'm not sure I can bring myself to cut it.

I can definitely see the appeal in the mirror, but the only answer on turn 2 is the 1 mana spell which they should have played on turn 1 if they had it. At least I don't think it would be correct to hold the turn 1 freeze invoke if you had it.

I usually hold it. A 2/1 is nice but having the surprise potential of a rush minion is better. I won't hold it long but I will retain it through my opponent's first two turns.

Shaman has totally let Deathrattle Rogue slip under the radar. As soon as the Shaman nerfs roll in, that will be the new instant cancer

Full disclosure: I mostly play rogue and picked up the apothecary rogue after watching J Alexander stream it Sunday. It is blatantly overpowered, so much so that J tweeted @ Iksar about it needing to be nerfed along with Shaymin. It is fun to play, but I definitely agree the power spikes are out of line with just about everything besides shaman Galakrond.

At EU rank 23, I just played back to back games against someone using that Anubisath OTK Rogue deck that is going around, and he had the 2/5 that makes it work on turn four in both games. He then lost on turn five both games because Whizbang gave me Pirate Warrior and I drew the stone cold nuts each time.

Removing Amalgams is such a big change that I'm glad to see. It was a little too easy to sit on one all game and then suddenly give it divine shield, poisonous, and taunt.

Mogu Fleshshaper kind of got buffed. Weird nerfs.

As someone who plays plenty of Sea Giant, no that's not a buff to Mogu Fleshshapper. It costs nearly as much as Sea Giant Now, and unless your opponent helps you, you can't actually get Sea Giant below 4 mana (that's 6 slots, with one board slot open for the giant itself).

Don't get me wrong, in very specific matchups where both players are on board flood decks it will get down to 0 (I've cast Sea Giant for 0 before) but I think 90% of the time you're going to be paying that two extra mana. This means that you get Fleshshaper down 1-2 turns later on average. This means you might literally never play fleshshaper against control warrior (sea giant is a notoriously bad card in the control warrior matchup cause they keep your board clear and tend to have very few minions of their own).

Also, I think there will be an open question now whether it's better to put mogu fleshshaper or sea giant in your deck now. Yeah, if you fleshshapper and mutate you get to deal 3 damage and probably get something bigger than 8/8, but that's also two cards, and you need to draw both cause either on their own is sub-par.

(For me the biggest surprise nerf was Sludge Slurper. I mean, acceptable nerf, it's still better than EVIL Cable Rat which is never cut from quest shaman so the card will still have a home, it just was obviously wasn't the best 1-drop in Galak shaman when Invocation of Frost is around).

Like...Thief Rogue gets a 2 mana 3/4 rush. I don't think people would consider it balanced if Thief Rogue got a 3 mana "if you're holding a card from another class this is an 8/8."

8/8 is just a lot bigger than 3/4 rush.

I mean, granted, with Mogu Fleshshaper/Sea Giant the 1 mana cost difference might be a big deal, because these cards are threshold based. As soon as you start a turn with enough mana to cast one of these cards, you can also play all of your 1-mana minions (lackeys etc) basically for free, and still play the giant/fleshshaper.

(Unless you just mean that Fleshshaper is better when you also have mutate in your hand, which...sure, I agree. The advantage of sea giant is that you could cut Mutate, which is already one of the weaker cards in the deck).

So...I never really had a desire to play the wild quest/giants mage deck before, buuut according to initial reports wild quest highlander mage is tier 1 in wild (and doesn't run dragonqueen alex, which is good cause I don't have her, but I do have the rest of the relevant highlander cards).

Ended up crafting 3 cards for this. Quest, Primordial Glyph, and Barista Lynchen. In retrospect Barista is probably not that important but oh well--decent odds I'll want her for other decks like various shaman nonsense.

Didn't bother crafting the new giant or vulpera scoundrel or Chenvalla. (Not all lists run the new giant, and god, I just....don't want to waste dust on vulpera scoundrel; when I look at hsreplay stats on that card it's nearly always the lowest winrate card in its deck. Chenvalla is clearly not core to the deck, I just ran Flamewaker instead.).

Ended up cutting Brann Bronzebeard who is in every list I've seen but felt super awkward when I drew him, and HSReplay stats flagged him as one of the lower winrate cards. He's good with Kazakus, good with Zola, but irrelevant with old reno, usually overkill with new reno, and sketchy to combine with Zeph unless Brann survives a turn.

One of my early deckbuilding mistakes was copying a list that didn't have Cobalt Spellkin. Run that card, it's really good. (Violet Spellwing is not as good, but I ended up running it as well just cause generating enough spells to complete the quest has been a problem).

Overall I don't really have a full feel for the deck yet. It doesn't complete the quest that fast, but it also has most of the control tools of Reno Mage so it can often just win as a control deck before the quest even completes; I'd say a lot of my wins have been pre quest completion. I've also definitely lost after the quest completed. (Against a big priest who had ressed a bunch of 4/8 lifesteal taunts; could not punch through those even with three turns). I do seem to be winning slightly more than I'm losing, but I don't feel like I know what I'm doing yet.

I have decided I'm going to play Control Highlander Shaman which may or may not include Quest and/or Galakrond.

I have no idea what my list will consist of, but I'm determined to make this work.
