Unless I'm remembering wrong, my battlegrounds record in Asia is now 1stx6 and 2ndx2. On the other hand, NA server is the host body sitting in a lab somewhere, having the lifeforce sucked out of it to strengthen Asia. I actually think I'm below the 4,000 you start at in NA.

His deck consists of about 10 Clerics, 10 Psychopomps, 5 Infiltrators, 3 cards that actually started in his deck and around 30 frogs. I got a bit bored finishing up a pair of quests, and then I got a Hex while looking at 2x Spirit of the Dead and spent 15 minutes putting as many in there as possible.

Are you saying that over 3 games your bottom card was Galakrond in the first game, your bottom card was Zeph in the second game and your bottom card was Alex in the third?

Or are your saying that in all 3 games your bottom three cards were Gala/Zeph/Alex in no particular order?

OR are you saying that in all 3 games your bottom 3 cards were Galakrond then Zeph then Alex in that specific order.

I just need to know how much BS to call.

Ah so you're claiming you had a 1 in 24,360 result three times in a row. In other words you see claiming a 1 in 14,455,457,856,000 occurrence.

Perhaps even more bold is this insinuation that you are playing Highlander Galakrond Priest and didn't put Kronx Dragonhoof in your deck? Or is there some other reason you were in a value mirror and elected not to tutor for your best card?

Just got legend for the first time. Been playing since release lol. But I'm mainly an arena player, I just had a lot of fun with this control galakrond warlock so I played a lot and actually hit legend somehow. I think I was on something crazy like a 12 game winstreak to hit legend too. Decks insane

The two times I hit legend were some of my most tense gaming moments ever. It's a long, sometimes unfun grind, but getting those final few wins are a great feeling.

Yeah I honestly didn't really feel any pressure until that last game. But it was a rush. Even though it was kind of a stomp lol, I had a lot of closer games leading up to it but that's not important

Both of my legend grinds were with aggro decks, so often queuing up was the most tense moment of the match, as seeing a particular class instantly would tell me if I was heavily favoured or just straight up going to lose.

I think the embiggen builds starting to use winged Guardian now though, seems really good in that deck especially since you can resurrect it with witching hour

Silly game last night: Priest mirror. Opponent is playing quest, I'm playing Galakrond resurrect. Absolutely nothing happens over the first 6 turns except that I drop a Bad Luck Albatross onto the board and give it reborn. Finally he plays an infiltrator. I Grave Rune the bird, kill it, and he answers with a Khartut, which just gives me the means of killing off my three new birds. Instantly he's got 8 tokens in his deck and we've got empty boards. I Psychopomp out another, but finally he draws his mass dispel.

Next turn he plays Zerek's, and gets Zilliax along with six bird tokens. I laughed so hard. Not only is that virtually useless, but his rez pool is now 60% useless tokens. He still came surprisingly close to deciding to aggro me down since I'd replaced my hero power at this point, but his deck choked super hard down the stretch. He must have drawn every single albatross before I finally closed it out.

That quest priest deck reminds me of why I quit playing Hearthstone in the first place. So many decks are just completely unfun to play against.

Every deck is unfun to play against, depending on what you're playing. Clearly you just need to flood his deck with 1/1 Albatrosses.

My point exactly! Other competitive games I can alter how I'm playing to fit the situation. With Hearthstone I just hope my opponent doesn't counter everything I'm doing and shrug.

...... I just win-streaked from low Rank 9 all the way up to Rank 5, 4 stars over the course of 2 days with my homebrew Singleton Galakrond Priest deck, and I'm quitting for the night with my streak still active. My win to cross the threshold into Rank 5 was a total doozy, too.

I had to fight back against a Galakrond Rogue who had Togwaggled 3 times over the course of the game. I found a turn to just barely play my Dragonqueen Alex, which gave me Emeriss and regular Alex. I came this close to following up playing Emeriss with Alex, but decided not to, and the next turn, he ignored most of my stuff, sapped Emeriss, and put me down to 2. The next turn, I was able to Alex myself for free and play Zilliax, Penance, and Holy Ripple to clear the board completely and put myself back to 22. He still came back into it, though, after his Crown summoned two Deathwings. Then I hit a 2/5 chance to kill his second one with my Galakrond, and successfully read his generated Hunter Secret as Misdirection and refused to attack his face with my 12 and 16-attack minions until I could test with something else, which ended up winning me the game.

Embalming Ritual and Cabal Shadow Priest have been pretty underwhelming for the most part, but I'm scared to change anything because it's winning so much. If you were to try for yourself, I think I'd plug Siamat in for CSP and something like Injured Tol'vir for Embalming Ritual, to help fight for early board control, but still isn't terrible to Grave Rune or get back from Psychopomp.

In a few days, hopefully I can slot that new Priest Dragon in here!

If there's a good deck that can feasibly run CSP, it probably should be running CSP. Stealing a 2/5 Necrium Apothecary is...really, really disgustingly good.

Are people still running apothecary decks? I haven't been on standard ladder a ton, but I haven't heard a peep about them since the nerfs.

Well, don't take my statement too far. A combo deck is unfun to play against aggro. An aggro deck is unfun to play against control. Control is unfun to play against combo. You can win those match-ups, but depending on the specific decks, the likelihood is often extremely low, and the unfun part comes when you feel helpless. I don't mind any loss where I actually get to participate in it. If all I'm doing is hopelessly (and ineffectively) deflecting my opponent's game plan, that's when it becomes disinteresting.

Just went out in 7th place with two 70/70 demons. I lost to a 75/75 demon. I guess that's the risk of spending all of your health to buff your cards but it still doesn't feel good.
