The spectate quest was a terrible quest to roll into today, seeing as it doesn't seem to work for battlegrounds and I haven't seen anyone on my friends list playing anything but that.

I feel like I've seen everything the mode has to offer after watching a stream for a little bit then playing a few games myself.

I think there is a surprising amount of depth to it that will only get more pronounced as they add more cards to the pools. Decision making feels incredibly relevant.

Played my first pyramad game (it was up against ragnaros and I didn't see myself having many chances to use his hero power.

Got 1st place somehow. It came down to me, AFKay, nefarion and Nulla. Y'know 3 actually good heroes...and pyramad. And most of my health lost came from an early demon package I was forced to run because that was the only way I could stay relevant before tavern 4. What a bizarre game.

I'm around 5700 mmr currently and its worth noting that i haven't preordered yet so I only get two options instead of 3.

I haven't paid for HS anything since like Blackrock.

I make more than enough gold (especially after the quest changes) to get what I need. Maybe not all that I want, but then I have like 50k dust to fall back on.

Yeah I was about to say Millificent is definitely the strongest but I think that has to do with mechs being nuts

Junkbot nerf may slightly change things up though

I hope Patches doesn't rotate because he's bottom two, which I think is likely, if for no other reason than I don't want him being dealt with in the same amount of weeks that it took to deal with regular Patches.

In the land of Who Still Plays Regular Hearthstone, I just played against a 15-Health-Quest Priest in wild that managed to not notch a single point of healing until I sent him into fatigue, and then finally finished his quest seven turns into fatigue.

I avoided Evolve Shaman from rank 18 to 12 and have been away from the game for a few months so I'm late to the question of, "who the fuck thought Desert Hare and Evolve was an acceptable thing?".

The two heroes that were bottom were Giantfin and Berzial

the Murlocs being buffed Im unsure of, just feels like it makes Amalgam stronger

Mother fucking posted syndragosa twice and got fucking wrecked both times. And because of the change to MMR i lost multiple days worth of progress.

Serves me right for playing at work while being somewhat distracted, but God dang these rounds weren't even close.

Amalgam is getting nerfed as well, but rather than nerfing it into a later level they're apparently changing it to a 2/2. Not sure that makes a huge difference.

I did really well in my one game with Brann. Also had a Dancing Deryl game where I just danced hats and ended up second. I'm sure my opponents were freaked out by the 12/14 homonculus on turn 5.

Unless you are willing to throw away a round (which I might do for a hydra or a sentry bot) there is still a hard limit to how much you can juice a single minion before you end up with it as the only minion on board and 4+ mana crystals on hand.

You just have to commit to your line as soon as your turn starts.

It's also very helpful to pick your target, freeze the board, and go after it the following turn. You'll know exactly what you're doing going in and begin at the start of the timer.

That said, it feels like turn timers are wildly inconsistent. They gradually get longer, but it's still not uncommon to get a timer of only ~30 seconds late in the match. I kinda wish there was a "skip combat" button so you could see the results of you getting smacked for 17, and go right to the tavern phase again.

Not sure if it was a bug or not, but when I was playing on Asia it was pretty common for later turns to have timers of 120 seconds. Seemed ridiculously excessive.

I think the thing that bothers me the most, even though it really shouldn't, is when I'm watching a battle play out and the opponent I'm currently matched up with levels up over on the leaderboard. Why is he already in the recruitment phase when I'm still watching another 10-15 seconds of animations?

Yes this! It can be useful to watch the combat to see what's working and what isn't, but sometimes I would prefer the extra time.

The set as a whole seems strong, but I don't think I've seen anything that seems 100% busted. In the midst of all the powerful dragons, I think Breath of Dreams might be the strongest card in the set so far.

An on-curve tutor that can also be a get out of jail free card if you're already transformed is busted no matter what though.

Back in my day you played a 6 Mana 4/6 draw a 10 cost card to maybe get to your old God and you (didn't at all) liked it.

This is better stated, better timed, and better functionality all around.

I've played three games on EU and came in 1st in all three of them. I've played three games on Asia and came in 1st, 2nd, 1st. After about 25 games on NA I just now got my first victory, and the only reason I won was because my Foe Reaper saw the Mama Bears+Deathrattles board and decided bad rng wasn't possible four straight match-ups in a row.

got matched into a game with collins earlier. Which is surprising because I only have 6k mmr and he's around 10k.

He kind of upset me though because I told him gg after and he remarked how odd that people he's facing always seem to be in his stream. Like yeah I checked when I recognized his user name to see if it was actually him, but I didn't watch his stream during the game (which I couldn't anyways because I'm playing via mobile) and there's no way I could have anticipated the matchmaking with our 3k MMR difference. Hell I watched a ton of his streams before he became popular as that #1 ranked bg player -_-

I finished top 4 though and my comp nearly defeated his so I'll see it as a positive.

The only time I've ever won at 40 was when I early highrolled posion/divine shield Megasaur.

Speaking of highrolling Megasaurs, just had a game as Curator where I had early-game murlocs, and the Shifter Zerus I bought on Turn 6 immediately turned into a Megasaur, and it gave me poisonous. My ending slate is one of the most absurd boards I've ever seen.

Kinda noticed I do a lot better with the bad heroes than I do with like, AFK and Patchwerk/Curator/Brann

Haven't won a game whenever I pick them but win my first games with Patches, Queen Wogtaggle, and Pyramad.

As most know, the rules of Hearthstone state that on launch day you are guaranteed to open the legendary you want least, so now that the full set is revealed what is everyone going to grumble about? I'll be getting Ancharrr and Shu'ma I imagine.
