Annoying someone with words, or killing a being that wants to live? I would pick the possibility of annoying a person over the act of killing. And if it may annoy people that support killing to in order to save some lives, I see the benefit far outweighs temporary discomfort.

Not to mention, most people who vegans yell at arent killing animals directly. Indirectly, sure. But people do all kinds of things indirectly...

And annoying most people isnt going to make them changes. Some people may end up not being vegan out of spite.

And maybe you like temporary discomfort. We would just like people to leave us alone when were eating so we can enjoy our meal. I dont want a lecture while Im eating. Especially when I already know Im not going vegan... Like ever...

Words may not break my bones like sticks and stone, but theyll sure as fuck annoy me... And Id honestly rather eat in peace...

Organic farm animals get their every need tended to with no means to give back. I think that gives us a decent position to have them offer their lives to make us happy.

We were raised under Christian values asserting humanity was holy and special; casting aside the faith should mean we lose that divine status as an animal, not that we should raise animals up to our irrational level.

Im not dismissing them as animals. Im saying were all animals. Like including humans. Like I literally said we are animals. Do you think Im putting humans on some sort of pedestal? Because Im not. I said animals sometimes eat animals. And we are animals, as well. Ive always said that.

As for why we dont kill humans, some do. Some even like the taste. I just figured we wouldnt. Or because were like pack animals and would rather hunt together instead of hunting each other. And we just kept that in modern times.

I dont hunk killing is barbaric. Its just... how it is. If we didnt farm like we do now, wed probably hunt. But have many less types of meat...

They are different. But its because times changed. Without factory farming, wed probably still be hunting. Factory farming just makes emit easier. And make its so we can just buy it ready. I mean, we all could go back to hunting. But wed definitely cause a few animals to go extinct. Probably the tasty ones, too.

No. Youre a new user who comes in here and based on things you say, act like you know the users in here. That makes you an alt. Even lurking have karma. All you have to do to get karma is visit the boards and a topic everyday.

Also, going to insults when someone makes an observations makes you sound less intelligent, and is definitely the lower moral ground. So, a bad person by all accounts. And most likely, an alt...

The problem lies in first keeping and killing the animals. "It's already there I'll buy it/eat it anyway" is basic supply and demand. Animals are bred and killed because people pay for it. Straight up. Stop paying for it.

Eat what's there if you must, but stop forcibly breeding countless more animals to die. You'll find there will stop being meat that people "have to eat"

I can stop. I've gone days without meat. But I don't want to because I have no reason to. And, tbh, it's not really meat that's stopping me from becoming a vegan. It's cheese. I'm not giving up my favorite foods (Cheese, Pizza, and Mac & cheese) because someone else doesn't like what I eat. I don't have a problem not eating it a little. But I rather eat what I want instead of getting rid of foods that I like for no reason.
