What makes killing them ok and not us? Is it because they are different? Less intelligent? I don't feel it's acceptable to kill for those reasons. We should kill off people who are a burden, we had the death penalty for a reason. Organic farm animals get their every need tended to with no means to give back. I think that gives us a decent position to have them offer their lives to make us happy. We were raised under Christian values asserting humanity was holy and special; casting aside the faith should mean we lose that divine status as an animal, not that we should raise animals up to our irrational level. --- Doctor Foxx posted...
