The shine sprite or whatever battle was giving me trouble and on like my fifth or sixth attempt, while I was preoccupied with the Kirbies, I suddenly got the victory screen because I guess Rosalina managed to kill herself on an item somehow. Well okay.

my first online match with K Rool I only realized halfway through I forgot to set my controls the way I liked them so I didn't have throw on X

K Rool definitely feels the most natural of the newcomers so far

Inkling is a lot of fun but managing the paint might be a touch to complex for my playstyle

Simon feels really awkward initially but I haven't had the chance to really mess with him much yet

Incineroar is decent, just doesn't stand out much yet, but nothing wrong with him

haven't used Isabelle, Ridley, or the echoes yet

Simon and Richter are a hard commit to a spacing game.

Honestly, just try to get her to move around the stage. She's bound to Self Destruct since the AI is shit at moving around 75m and Peach's vertical recovery isn't that good.

The Franklin Badge spirits are borderline broken in World of Light. Like, full stop.

Take for example, the Diggernaut challenge. It's Giant ROB and starts with a Drill. I stand still waiting to see what happens, and it tosses the drill, gets reflected back at it, and it gets caught on the drill all the way to oblivion.

Yeah, I won by doing absolutely nothing.

I have been playing most free minutes since the game came out and Im at like 50 challenges completed. Though I guess Ive been doing a lot of non-challenge stuff in that time

being giant metal is the biggest cheese i've had

just about everything dies instantly in the first few seconds of most matches unless they're maybe a bit serious or gimmicked

Even better was the time I equipped a Franklin Badge against the Mii Gunner unlock.

The AI had no idea what to do, and was trying to use the three or so moves the Gunner has that aren't projectiles, so it was trying to get me with almost exclusively aerials, and the occasional reflected move.

Played online a little bit. Yeah that is HORRIBLE on their part to the point that it absolutely must be fixed.

IDK why I would ever want to play with someone else's horrific 5 minute long 4 stock items on matches, but it shouldn't FORCE ME TO DO IT.

I cheesed this one with Fox, with support spirits being a Franklin Badge and Metal Killer. Then I just pressed B until they died, using Fox Fire to switch stage sides as they got close.

"Defeat a character that's constantly running away while being attacked by 1-3 other characters, within the time limit"

Oh man, beat The Boss as Squirtle. I side B'd myself off the stage, she jumped off to keep attacking, and while trying and failing to make it back to the ledge, I ended up knocking her so far sideways under the stage that she fell to her doom before me.

Update: Missed the Rosalina unlock entirely (which says a lot about how little I care about her lmfao). I also literally never beat Pauline even though I swore I did, so I went back and cheesed it with Staff.

100% completion get
