I got my 9.9 with Snake while doing his clear 5.0 or higher without continuing (Since that appears to mean starting at 5.0 for some reason) lmfao

I'm not even good with him, I just used the very big-brained strategy of "spam foward smash and dash attacks, abuse items, and completely ignore that your B-button even exists"

Glad I cleaned out the challengers before their difficulty was nerfed. I enjoyed getting my ass kicked by them a few times.

I got mine with K. Rool. I think his is actually super easy. He faces all characters with big hitboxes and are slow, so it felt really easy.

I think Mega Man's seems the easiest of the ones I've done, mostly cause the final stage is a total softball. When I actually want to tackle that challenge he'll be the first I make a serious attempt to try it with. Was too rusty and using joycons when I did it the first time so I died once and only got like 9.3 or something. I guess Mega Man was one of my more used characters in 4 though so it may not be a typical reaction.

But haven't actually tried K. Rool yet either.

Wolf can partly cheese out the first 3-ish stages of Classic with his blaster. Starting on stage 4 with Squirtle that starts not really working.

I think Ryu or Mega Man is the easiest. Ryu having everything in Stamina mode makes things a lot easier, and Mega Man has a cupcake final fight.

For me he fell into the same trap a lot of the giant stamina fight opponents fall into...up tilt repeatedly and he falls into it every time and you win for free

For me the point of an achievement list is to show things I actually accomplished and the hammers totally bypass that (and there's no way to undo it later by completing it the normal way or something). It's fine if other people want to do it, but for me it would be a permanent mark that my file is uncompletable.

my third or so Classic attempt was a 9.9 run! my Link re-attempt early in before before I tried anything else since he's my main

Ganon's a pretty easy boss, just jumping over him when he starts up any attack and run away when it's the spins. Despite me being utterly confused how to fight him first attempt.

... my Villager run right after that was also a 9.9... I have no idea how it was so easy to get there, though I did use a ticket (maybe two) on the final boss

anyhow last few days I've been at 123/124 challenges, just gotta get to 200 online matches!
