Imagine when Deltarune's full game came out in X years just in time for the next game contest !

It's probably coming out in a couple months.

Best case scenario we get another contest next year so we can have some influence.

I'm kinda joking because it would have to a really unlikely coincidence for it to came out a few months before a contest to be at it's peak during it.
This happened to Undertale but this was really lucky and Doki Doki shows what happens when the timings don't match

Ocelot didn't benefit that much while the Direct was active. And just like that, Dedede gets a 31 vote cut on the first full update after the Direct ended.

Why do we think this Mewtwo performance is bad? Mewtwo and GlaDOS were next to each other on the 2013 x-stats. I'm sure GlaDOS has fallen a bit, but I think Mewtwo going 62-38 here is actually impressive. GlaDOS isn't Gordon; she actually has a memorable character.

Even as the foremost expert in Mewtwo fraudulence, there's really nothing wrong with this performance. This is pretty much where I pegged this match. It's hard to say where GlaDOS is compared to 2013 (which was already a massive boost from where she was in 2010). Western characters have nearly all noticeably fallen off from 2013, and we don't yet know if GlaDOS is the rare exception.

Yeah, that's the thing. I can't really call this a bad performance without knowing where GlaDOS is now. If she's fallen back down to 2010 levels (or worse), then yeah, it's not great.

It's a potentially great performance if she's at the same level as 2013, but we won't know until round 2.

GlaDOS is probably somewhere between 2010 and 2013 in strength. I think this Mewtwo performance is pretty good.

Or maybe Portal 2 was a good finish for the series and it doesn't actually need a sequel. I mean, I'm not mad at Valve for not making P3.

yeah and Bowser didn't even break 52% on Kirby and 2005 was probably the strongest Bowser we've ever seen, so it's nothing like Mario/Samus

Mostly, but the early night vote has basically been the equivalent of an ASV, so they've been pretty frontloaded. Luigi has been one of the rare exceptions, but that's probably due to facing Edgeworth more than anything else.
