KCF0107 09/05/18 5:08:40 PM #1:	Despite being here for over a dozen years, I'm probably one of the few users on the board who doesn't pay attention to the contests, and since I doubt the characters that I really want in (such as En from Echo, Jimmy Hopkins from Bully, or Kyle Hyde from Hotel Dusk) have even a thousandth of a percent chance of making it in, I decided to have users lobby characters for me to nominate. It won't be first come, first served, but if there's a character I recognize that I love, then there's a possibility that I will immediately add them to the nomination form. I don't know contest history, but if there's a character that I assume hasn't been in the contest before (you can use that as part of your lobbying), then I am more likely to consider them. Its unlikely to get represented without some nomination lobbying, because it isn't really the kind of series that comes to mind for a "character" battle. But with Monster Hunter World releasing this year and being hugely successful (and still one of the most popular games on this site, based on the message board activity) and just recently releasing on PC, and Generations Ultimate just having been released last week for Switch, and Rathalos himself having made a crossover appearance in FFXIV and being set to appear as a boss in the new Smash Bros game, Rathalos is recognizable enough that he could well have some decent strength in a contest. He won't be a contender or anything but compared to some other characters that need rallies to get in he's probably one of the higher potential choices. Plus Monster Hunter is great and even if he's not my favourite monster from it by a long shot, he's the face of the franchise. Just ignore what the fandom does with him. Please. Hector (FE7) a bit of a meme in the FE community for being THE MANLIEST, and for good reason.
