Sakurai loves the Xenoblade franchise and Sakurai's love for something is easily the strongest part of any decision (see Fire Emblem taking a billion slots)

Honestly Ridley should 100% be on my list because of that leak and also the fact that doing a Metroid Prime 4 thing followed by Ridley being the first revealed newcomer is something that sounds super likely and would be hype as all hell.

But I will not ride this train. He should have been playable since Melee. I will never predict Ridley to be playable until I actually see it with my own eyes at this point.

Villains, aside from Bowser, have always been saved for post-release, so I highly doubt Ridley will be revealed at E3 even if he is in the game. Likewise, I laugh hysterically at all the K. Rool fans over on the Smash Board who absolutely believe he is a lock for E3.

I figured there probably has to be at least one Gen 7 Pokemon added, and Decidueye makes the most sense. Incineroar and Mimikyu are the only other Gen 7 Pokemon with any possible chance of getting added to the game.

There should be at least one new character added if this is going to be a port of Smash 4, in order to provide an incentive to buy this game for those that already have Smash 4 on 3DS and Wii U.

It's weird seeing so many people want Ice Climbers back. Is it just because they liked the fact you were two characters in one? Because their game wasn't really that fun at all and they themselves really don't seem that interesting at all.

I can get it if people really like the idea of a duo char, but the other reasons still confuse me.
