Tana's probably the only one i'm gonna go far since i like fliers and don't have a red mage flier. though i'm not a huge Tana fan and if i don't get her it wouldn't be a huge deal. i definitely wouldn't trade Ninian or Nino for her, so no regrets there.

Why is Noire getting an alt that is exactly what you'd expect her normal unit to be.

this version could be armored. never know with this game until you see that movement icon.

Okay scantily clad Noire as armored would actually be kinda funny as a Christmas Tharja throwback.

I don't think I'm drawing on this banner though. I'd draw for a regular Noire but meh. I'll probably free draw red and be done with it.

oh dang i just heard that Noire has the same VA as Soleil. that probably still wouldn't be enough for me to pull for her with the personality difference but it's got me thinking about it.

Given she's an infantry archer like she is in-game, it wouldn't surprise me if this is the only version of Noire we ever get. If her voice lines are anything like they are in Awakening though she has the potential to be incredible.

I like how the "hardest" mission for the Oliver GHB return for me is going to be the one involving killing an Oliver with another Oliver... because that requires me to actually level and use him.

As for the leaked alts....

Tana is making me sweat(She was probably my first FE crush!), but otherwise I think I can avoid temptation on this banner.

Oh shit, I actually got a silhouette right. I looked at it and was like "that could be Innes" but didn't say anything. Guess I should from now on, ahaha~

Oliver is pretty easy to kill with Oliver due to the fort squares on the map. I leveled one to 35 with crystals and he got the job done without any issue as his res was high enough to take 0 damage from enemy Oliver on the fort and he could chip him down.

Random aside I decided to draw a bunch on the retro bride banner seeing the announcement because Bridal Caeda + Charlotte > and I want to draw blue to get some Oboros (I got none-- did get like 4 each of Donnel and Gwendolyn though :/). Got pity broken at 3.75% with Sothe (I already had one at 5* and this one's nature sucks +Def/-Spd-- don't think I care to merge him but maybe I'll use his Spur Atk/Spd). Drew the whole set since it was all colorless and also got a Bridal Cordelia with literally the worst nature possible (+Def/-Atk). I'll probably just make her a bow lyn counter by giving her bow breaker and be done with it for now.

Noire's art is atrocious but Tana and Innes are cool at least. Probably will only do the free pull on this banner, though I can always use more good fliers.

I've definitely become less excited about the game since completing my four man 5*+10 squad, so I need a new long-term goal to work towards. Think I'll just save up a ton of orbs for now and see what happens.

You could always do what TRE did and save up orbs for long enough to try and +10 a new 5* release when something appealing enough gets released.

I think the banner is still a pass. Tana is the most tempting and I think hone fliers would have done it for me

Unless her stats suck I'm definitely going to try to get Tana, red tome is the only one I don't have yet for fliers. An important step towards a third flying AA team.

Also obligatory "Noire's art was always bad". Definitely an interesting skill though, certainly an improvement over Infantry Pulse.

Seems like they like to make Summer units have rather underwhelming weapons compared to non-seasonals, which is interesting since you'd think they'd make seasonals OP to entice players to draw on the banners as much as possible

Maybe they expect people to draw on Summer banners for the art so they don't go too crazy with the skills.

Theres also people who will pull for them because theyre limited.

I got Summer Tana off the free batch which I full pulled. She's -Spd +Def which is garbage though. I might just give Atk/Spd Push to Serra and call it a day-- need to see how that works exactly and weigh whether I like that over the bond skills. Seems okay with Absorb though.

Atk/Spd Push on Serra is actually a good idea since she can self-heal

As for me...

-Sees no colorless orbs
-Selects blue orb
-Gets free +Atk/-Spd SCordelia!

Been having really good luck with free summons lately. Good thing SCordelia has good Spd to begin with. Thinking of making her a carbon copy of her OG form and making a Firesweep Lance build so I have a Screwyoudelia on two teams

Spent about 90 orbs on the summer banner, mostly doing full 20 pulls. I had really good luck on the green stones. I got:

-Summer Innes (+HP, -ATT)
-Sonya (+SPD, -HP)
-Amelia (+HP, -RES)
-A 4* Soren, which is the last one I need to finish my 40+10 Soren

Kinda funny Summer Innes has the exact same bad IVs as my regular Innes, but oh well. The Amelia I got also has the same IVs as the Amelia I already had, so there's not much to do but merge her. Sonya is new, and with good IVs to boot, so that's cool.

Seasonal weapons are generally inheritable and they're very careful about not making inheritable weapons OP (for whatever reason).

Cool

Farmed up to 20 orbs. Got Tana (Neutral) + Noire (-Atk/+Def) on the next 13 orbs (Not drawing green Innes isn't really very exciting for much, I don't want to draw green for merge units, and I already have a +1 merged Archer Innes). Bad nature for Noire but at least Tana's isn't bad. So 3 on banners in like 28 orbs. I've never had luck nearly this good ever.

I love this banner. Going to stop for now, though I may go back to this if I want Infantry Rush is good or Noire's VA isn't as bad as I initially thought.

Okay update

Noire's VA is as bad as I initially thought. Even the angry voice isn't as good as in Awakening.

It's like she thought to herself "what if I took the voice I did for Noire in Awakening and made it sound more like Peri?" Never a good idea!

Bleh. Well at least I won't mind foddering her for Infantry Rush once I find a good idea for it but it does make me disappointed because Noire is one of the only remaining Awakening characters I had much interest in (I think Vaike, Owain and Severa are the only others). ... maybe she added the Periness to simulate sun stroke and a normal Noire will be okay, you never know.

This kinda makes all the new inheritable tomes bad, since there's already an inheritable OP tome for them to compete with. The logic makes a bit more sense for physical weapons.

I got Tana and Innes, both +somethinguseless -Atk. But y'know what that's okay, they're both gonna be 30 atk/36-37 speed. My +Def -Atk Tana in particular is... basically just a sliiightly better red Summer Corrin, and her offence is more than good enough to wreck everything in her path.

They would need to release something omgwtfopaf to trump the bladetomes. Wonder if we will ever see that happen

Bladetomes are a bit overrated imo. Limits positioning options, and more and more counters to that thing are coming around, and most importantly these other tomes that do more than just hit hard end up better because you're hitting hard enough to kill. Also you end up with a lot of waste on the theoretical damage most of the time.

I mean don't get me wrong they're still very good but I do see uses for other tomes that have come out since bladetomes. Owltomes in particular I think get criminally underrated on a lot of units. I think they just need to make all the inheritable tomes do something significant that isn't just "damage" and there are still a lot of options. But that's just good weapon design in general.

Positioning isn't much of a problem. You generally want at least two units parked next to each other for buffs and Ally Support boosts anyway, and most maps are so small that you don't have a lot of space to work with anyway

We've only had two reruns and they happened in different ways. Spring rerun happened 9 days after the Spring 2018 banner started. It was rerun for the Voting Gauntlet. Bride rerun was 4 days after the Bride 2018 banner. There was no particular event attached to the rerun.

It's funny how quickly you gain orbs when you don't feel like using them. I blinked and now I have 50. I know it's a mental thing but maybe saving a ton of orbs for a big project wont be as hard as I thought.

Yeah it's really not. You get like 200-300 a month if you do everything, depending on how many compensation/reward orbs they give us.

Course I've got a ton of feathers burning holes in my pocket so I'm having trouble saving just yet.

It's actually 320 per month these days. They haven't gone below 300 since last December. The last time they went below 250 was last June.

funny you should say this. apparently there's another bug now where people in Japan could get unlimited orbs from claiming a google play gift card reward repeatedly. some guy got 10k orbs from it and +10'd several units from the banners that just ended.
