Effie is decent with certain builds (generally either player phase with Brave Lance+ and Death Blow or enemy phase with Berkut's Lance+ and Distant Counter). Otherwise I think there's really only seasonal units like Christmas Robin and Love Awakens Lyn.

Where are those numbers coming from? By my count, Sigurd could get as many as 7 more bonus hours. Unless the match has terrible Same luck, it won't go below 4.

When you grind out like 120 orbs to try and go for the legendary guy and the orbs you need just dont show up. I was forced to pull more blue orbs than I even got green orbs to show up. Feelsbadman

I did get like 3 Ikes and 2 Morgans out of it....

On the plus side, if you want to build a dragon team, brave Ike is a fantastic pull. It's the best skill to give Tiki and Nowi.

My haul from new banner:

+HP/-Def Azura
+Def/-Res Sonya
+Spd/-HP Hector
+Atk/-Res Hector

Got Azura after my free summon, and Sonya was my combo-breaker, thankfully not when I was going deep. I got both long after the time period where I actually wanted them. Azura is still nice, I'll swap her in with one of my current dancers and she'll grind up HM in no time. Sonya will just sit there for who knows how long. Love her art, but I don't ever find a need for a green mage that just needs to deal damage that's not a -bladetome user

After Sonya broke my pity rate, I was thinking I probably can only go for one Hector since I didn't know how much more I'd have to spend to get him, but then both Hector's appeared in the summoning session. Freakin' awesome!

Karla is looking like a good candidate for Hector. I am tempted to go back in for one more Hector, but probably better to save for Hinoka if she's on Luna banner and CYL2

Changes:
- Finally splurged on Quick Riposte 3
- Used the Bike I got on this banner to give him Steady Breath instead of Steady Stance 3
- Sacrificed my Lene (RIP) to give him Safeguard+
- Gave him Close Def seal instead of the flat Def seal

With the changes he now reaches 60 defense when directly attacked (43 base + 4 from Steady Breath + 7 from Safeguard + 6 from Close Def), and that's without buffs. I originally used the flat Defense +3 seal to minimize damage from Brave Lyn and other ranged threats, but typically archers and dagger users don't reach >54 attack unless they have crazy buffs. Plus the Close Def seal means he takes less damage from common dragon threats like Myrrh.

My friend ID is 4856116677 if anyone wants to use him, he's pretty much always my main hero.

Huh I'm kinda disappointed Serra isn't in the BHB since she's on the banner. Guess we'll just have to wait for the Erk BHB in 3 years for her to get dialogue even though Matthew is clearly the better ship for her.

I dread drawing on this for Hector, getting 5 colorless and getting a Matthew/Serra. I'm sure it'll happen.

Honestly I'm kinda glad it didn't. I would've wasted orbs on it to save feathers when right now I have 97k feathers I'm not using (way less 3-4 rarity base units I actually like than I thought). And yesterday I had over 200k I just caved and started +10ing Soren cause I can't draw Oboros for the life of me.

Oh I still like feathers but I don't see a need to have more than 200k accumulated since you can basically +10 with that.

Color concerns are the main reason I have less targets than I like. I really wanted to +10 a blue/green next and yeah the only blues/greens I like that aren't 5* or BHB are Cherche, Oboro, Soren, L'Arachel, Odin, Cordelia. Catria, Hawkeye, Titania, Cecilia, Frederick, and Subaki.

Some of those are a big stretch for how much I really like them (Tailtiu and Catria are all design since I haven't played FE1 or FE4 yet, and Hawkeye/Titania/Subaki/Cecilia/Frederick aren't exactly anywhere near one of my favorites though I do like them), some I can't draw (Oboro, L'Arachel), some don't seem to get a lot of benefit from merges (Cherche), and some seem like they'd be a lot of effort to get a vaguely decent unit (Odin).

So it was basically Soren vs Cordelia for now. There are other unreleased pegasus riders I like more-- less so on green mages, so Soren is the next +10 for now. Currently +6. No more copies yet-- mostly because I send the 3* copies home because I'm patient and would rather save the 2000 feathers per 3*.

I also made a 5* Fir because I got a +Spd/-Def on my very first copy of her way back in the day and felt like she was overdue-- despite my glut of swords and her having like 5 3-4* reds ahead of her that I'd +10 first.

if they'd just make a flashing blade seal i think Fir could be really great. iceberg powered by her res and nameless blade would be stronger than regnal astra.

Brave Ike? Steady Breath is the skill you want to inherit from him.

I got my first L'Arachel today. Whoever designed her weapon must hate her guts. Sucks to be her fan

On another note, green is probably my most pulled color to-date. It didn't start like that, and I gradually began pulling on green more depending on who the focus was. The last few banners I pulled on, I pulled all green. It feels a bit bad sending so many Soren's home, but he's a low priority project and doesn't offer much in the way of SI, so can't be helped

especially a horse mage with decent spd and atk. there's very little she wouldn't one-round as a +10 with blarblade and horse buffs.

Well that's a +3 Speed Seal right. I could see +3 Speed being better in a lot of matchups. I just wanted double ploy cause he's a strategist so it seemed in character.

Oh I'm also running Iceberg instead of Moonbow. Not really sure which one is better. I'm flopping between Moonbow Luna Iceberg and Glacies but yeah for now it's Iceberg.

Yeah, I can respect the double ploy. I think I like the extra speed for general arena nonsense.

I'm torn between Moonbow and Iceberg and switch sometimes. Iceberg is more consistent damage than Luna and I think Glacies is too expensive. I've got Infantry Pulse on Fae, so Iceberg is nice when they are together

I'd love to +10 her some day, but right now I'd really like to find a nice +10 arena core to see if I can stay in Tier 20 for once. Or at the very least make 19 > 20 simple. Recently I've been needing to score snipe and I'm not about that life. >_>

Well, the way I see it with Glacies is you're running desperation so playing a combat and having your special with cooldown 1 remaining isn't always the worst thing as you can double hit with Glacies on hit 2 to kill really tanky targets. And as for Luna vs Iceberg my thinking is more like when you actually need the special proc to kill I feel like Luna might be better on average, even if Iceberg is dishing out better damage on average.

But yeah I'll have to actually use him more in meaningful fights to really know for sure. Specials are pretty balanced in this game now I like it.

Well I almost never see horses and my team isn't even straight +10s.

I suppose it's possible my uneven modifiers are working to my advantage but yeah the main menaces are goddamn Nowis at this point. Although they're only really a menace in arena assault. My normal arena team can handle Nowi very easily.

Soren is typically getting +4 res or more from ally support so that's 20 flat damage from an Iceberg regardless of the weapon triangle. I'm not sure how common it will be to fight enemies with over 40 res to matter. Probably not often enough, and Iceberg gives better reach against the triangle.

I can see Glacies having value there. They're all pretty reasonable options

Lyn/Reinhardt are not nearly as common as they once were. And Fae deletes them both so I don't mind seeing them anymore.

I swear Nowi pops up in five or more arena assault matches routinely.

I like to put Iceberg on mages. A consistent 18 damage is pretty damn good, Moonbow and Luna won't give you that consistency

My L'Arachel is +Atk/-Spd, and she would definitely make the best blue horse mage not named Reinhardt to-date, but time will tell if I do anything with her

Yeah I actually think that's probably the right analysis of Iceberg vs Luna (hence why I'm using Iceberg and not Luna-- hell haven't even taught him Luna yet) I'm mostly just playing devil's advocate and suggesting why Luna might actually be superior once in a while. I doubt I'll ever actually try Luna unless I find some sort of deficiency with Iceberg. Moonbow I could see myself actually teaching him just for the different CD but yeah.
