1247 Orbs. Average number of Orbs to get a +10 was 1204 so my luck was only a bit worse than neutral.

Yeah I think it works out to $665US. I don't know how people can put in enough money to buy their way to +10. Solo Green on a 3 character banner is also one of the cheapest +10s to get (Green Hero Fest +10s are the cheapest). If Nino was Red or on a 4 character banner, I would not have had enough Orbs to have tried it.

kinda crazy that you can get a +10 Nino for 3 times the orbs you spent not getting Spring Lucina last year. and that was pretty much exactly the average cost.

Bottom end of the ranges means a 25% chance of success. Top end of the range means a 75% chance of success. The 50% point is not listed but always a bit below the halfway point of the range.

3 character banner (no duplicate colours):
Red: 46-189 (1197-1761 for +10)
Blue: 42-175 (1111-1625 for +10)
Green: 38-152 (961-1412 for +10)
Colourless: 42-167 (1060-1540 for +10)

3 character banner (one other character with the same colour):

On the plus side the forerunner to try and +10 is Grima Robin who is hero fest exclusive so Hero Fest rates play to my advantage here. Looks like if I can save around 600 orbs I'll have a decent chance of +10ing her, since she's already at +4. With the rate we've been getting orbs lately that's not even really out of the question to occur by the next time she appears on one of the hero fest banners (well I guess her appearing on the next one is possible since they don't have a second colorless hero yet)

erm, Grima's on legendary banners, not hero fests. legendary is the worst ratio.

though the fewer copies you need, the bigger the standard deviation, so 600 orbs would probably still at least have a somewhat reasonable chance at getting 6 more copies.

No, Hero Fest were those 4 character banners we used to get with a 5% 5* rate. Female Grima is locked to the Legendary Hero banner which has the worst rate for getting a particular +10. Although, if there are multiple heroes of the same colour you want to +10 on a Legendary banner, you can get two for a little over the price of one.

Wish I had the discipline to save up that many orbs(or the spare income I could afford to drop).

Maybe one day I'll attempt to +10 that Nino, but until then I'll be doing my best to save up for (Brave) Veronica.

I don't think I could splurge that much on one banner because I value collecting diffenent characters more than making a +10 5* exclusive. I'm getting to the point that I can consider it though, and I haven't even been really trying to save orbs

Yeah. This is me exactly.

Decided to summon on the OG Bridal Banner once I hit 315 orbs. Free pulled Bridal Caeda which completes the set for me. Gives me someone to train up on the ranged map later tonight.

Yeah, I mean there's usually some specific counter that I'll run out of during an AA just when something pops up more than usual, but pulling effectively has no point for me 'cause of this. The most I get from getting a random one-of is just a unit with a better base kit/stat line than the units I pulled a year back had, but I've built most of those older units in some way to make them usable anyway.

I don't know if I'll ever save up quite as much as TRE did here, but there isn't much that'll make me pull these days anyway since most banners might as well not exist to me, and particularly not seasonal banners. I would love to get another flying mage and Nino would've been a nice one to get, but I'll wait until at least post-CYL since if there's any 5* exclusives I'm going to want to try and collect all of and maybe get a merge-or-two of, that's probably going to be the best banner for it.

First time in a long time I'm not using my TT staple of Eirika, Nino, and Ninian. I am still using Nino, just a cuter one lol

yeah i changed it up this time, too. Marth, Lute, Nino and PA Olivia is what i've been using so far. well for my 2x lunatic runs per day, at least. i always auto-battle hard after that with 3 bonus units and a healer, which this time is Nino, Linus, Canas, Lucius.

finally broke my 4.5 rate on the bride banner and got Ninian. +spd -HP. man it would have been rough to level her up back when the game first came out, but with all the tools available now it hasn't been too bad (though it's kinda sad that even in hard mode she can barely one-round Ursula in this TT with hone fliers, drive atk, and a luna activation).

though i'm pretty much out of orbs now for Summer, whoops.

I hate that Ursula has generic boss music. They only seem to use different music in BHB, but with a TT centered around the fangs they really should have given her Softly with Grace.

At least the end map music is nice.

She has some of the highest ranged damage output in the game, especially if you can buff her with Hone Fliers.

Flying Nino and Karel are my only 5* bonus units so I'm just using flier emblem for this tempest trial. Nino, Azura, Female Morgan, and Cordelia. Morgan is new so the HM is appreciated. She's pretty good at tanking any mage with 61 res on enemy phase so she's making herself useful

Whatever they did to the AA scoring system, I don't like the change. It's now very tedious rerolling to get a high starting score range, and even with using all 17 of my LH's and blessed heroes, I only finished just ahead of rank 9k. Probably need to randomly assign blessings to the rest of my dancers and some of my commonly used units

Speaking of LH's, the next one should be a colorless, and Hector would be next in line based on popularity, but colorless Hector is unlikely

btw, did anyone else have trouble with the newest blessed gardens map? it took me like 8 tries to get it with the only 3 earth blessings i've handed out (LA Lyn, LA Hector, Serra, with Legendary Ike as the 4th). in the end i had to equip wary fighter for the first time ever, bait Lyn with Hector, and have everyone gang up on her on turn 2. letting her live past turn 2 was just a death sentence every other way i tried it.

Colorless getting the shaft as always. If it's green, there's a high chance it's Hector

New map only took me two tries with Ike, Reinhardt, Klein, and Vector. I used Klein with Bowbreaker to bait Lyn second time around and weaken her, and then moved everyone out of attack range and waited for the enemies to congregate before dispatching of them

The Blessed Garden maps' difficulty are entirely dependent on the units you decided to dole out Blessings to previously. Earth maps like the recent one are by far the easiest for me because I had given my four strongest units Earth so that they could be paired up with Legendary Ike during earth arena season. Wind maps are where things start to get dicy for me.

I gave earth blessings to Airzura, Myrrh, NY Camilla, and Summer Corrin so it was no problem. It was easy to clean up after Myrrh baited Lyn.

And yeah, it really depends on who you gave blessings to. I have one dancer with each blessing for flexibility

I got up to 4.5% on the FE7 banner, pulling every orb regardless of color because I'd be fine with any of them, and finally got broken by my third Sanaki. I actually think that might be the beginning of the end for me. The past few weeks, I've really felt like I'm just getting on to keep up appearances. Nothing really interests me in that next banner other than Tana, so I'll probably skip it. I feel like the next banner I do care about and want someone from, and don't get anything good off of, that's probably gonna be it for me.
