You want a dedicated three-person core for arena offence for sure. Defence I wouldn't worry about too much, I used to try building them but these days I just use my arena offence team for laziness reasons and it works pretty well.

Yeah, 7 Grand Conquest battles takes quite a while if you play them manually. However, I think 20 kills under Infernal and keep your own camps is enough to get the points you need. Even auto battle can take care of that and sometimes they will even take an opponent Camp.

I don't trust the AI enough to risk lances on Infernal. At least with Rival Domains, you risk nothing if you auto-battle

You can try spending a single stamina lance on Auto Battling under Infernal to check if the CPU is good at a map or not. I mean sometimes the CPU will be dumb and let the opponent hit your fort which is bad. But, I find that Auto Battle is pretty good at getting 20 kills and a camp if the map isn't awful.

My Flier Emblem couldn't beat Hector Infernal even after I swapped in Myrrh. After switching to Karla, Ephraim, BCordelia, and PA Azura, I beat it after a few tries. BCordelia has been a godsend for me, and pairing her with Ephraim was a great choice

If only I had her for Lyn Infernal. Really hoping they bring these maps back at some point

TFW you lose an arena match because YOUR vantage went off, thus allowing V!Hector to get Glimmer off.

Yeah I don't like Vantage at all. Too many situations where nonsense like that happens.

Vantage is best on units like Kagero or Rhajat with super effective weapons. If you can't one shot, it's a waste.

Good news about doing runs over again(Twice, ran into a dancer team in the dual wall map) is that it gets the arena related flag quests out of the day.

Super effective units are the best for it, but I also like Vantage on high attack units with Glimmer as well as you can fairly consistently have uptime on the skill and will often one shot with glimmer up, as well as units with healing specials as the pre-emptive attack can keep them alive. But yeah it's not a mindless skill-- it can hurt you if you just treat it as something that's always good and don't play around it.

Nowi is more annoying due to the large variety of her builds.

There's the usual physical tank build but then there's others like the res tank build or the speed build that makes it hard to double her.

Got Myrrh to combo break at 10%-> cleaned out the board-> got another Elise (the reason I wasn't drawing for Grima again) too. Oh well. I like Myrrh well enough so I'm okay with merging her up. Nature was a marginal upgrade too (-Atk/+Def to -HP/+Def).

Not sure what I wanna do with this Gravity+ from the second Elise. It's tempting to give it to Serra in case I ever want, but realistically it's probably better to give it to someone else since I don't see myself not using Absorb+ on her much ever-- and when I do I'd be just as likely to want to use Panic+ I already gave her as a secondary from another 5* dupe healer I didn't want. Maybe I could 5* a Clarine and have her be knockoff Elise. But I think I'd rather Clarine just be Clarine since Fear+ seems like it could have uses. What is the worst attack staff anyway?

On the plus side I also drew Summer Robin (-SPD/+DEF-- not sure that nature is as bad as it appears honestly gives her a really balanced spread) immediately after from the summer banner.

I had to redo my AA run at the last minute because a Florina with Berkut's Lance and Aether did 30 damage on the second attack (charged) and KO'ed my Myrrh during the last battle. I was pissed

Christmas Tharja is very good. She comes with Close Counter and Vengeful Fighter out of the box, so she doesn't need much skill inheritance. Maybe Aether, if you can spare it

I got Christmas Tharja too, which is the unit I wanted most. Mine is +Atk/-Res, which is probably slightly above average. Basically, as long as she's not +Spd, you're good.

I realized it's easier to fulfill the "Defeat foes with x ally" VG quests on my own than hoping someone sends that type of ally or requesting for it. Just use an ally of that type during non-bonus hours.

Same hell screws me over every fucking time. Not too many bonus hours today for Marth

Yeah. Finishing up those quests is what I try to do when it's "Same". Not seeing a lot of colorless today.

I send the bonus unit out for like the first day, start finishing up the quests with my own units with same on the second day yeah

Since you can try again immediately if you surrender, I usually try and reroll my allies a few times to see if I can get three different colours in a Voting Gauntlet battle for those quests.

They changed the Voting Gauntlet a while back so that you can retry the battle immediately if you lose or surrender. As a result, there's no longer any risk of getting stuck with an unwinnable battle during a 7.0+x bonus hour.

Legendary Hero banner has the new Hector who has DC. Myrrh is a very good unit and is one of the best candidates for DC. Summoning green on Legendary Hero banner is a very good pick as you can't go wrong with any of the three 5*'s. If you don't get Hector on this banner, the OG Hector is coming in a banner soon, so you could wait for that, too

the original Hector will be a lot easier to pull from the banner coming out in a couple hours. better target if all you want is to sacrifice him for distant counter

Hector is fantastic. The Legendary one may be one of the best in the game(I say "may" only because I don't have personal experience).

So it's all of the above. He's popular, people want him because he's strong, and people want him for DC.

As someone who was able to sacrifice the OG Hector to Myrrh and still keep a Legendary one, I find DC Myrrh to be way more useful than Legendary Hector.

But yes, LH Hector is the best one yet. Even with -Atk, he's still a beast because of his B-skill and great bulk

It's the weapon that really puts him over the top. It's pretty much the same as Myrrhs in practice. Except Myrrh is much more mobile. She's probably the best unit I have

I thought they were going to follow previous pattern and not have GHB and BHB currently running, but I guess I was wrong. Now I need to make some space to make way for DC fodder or two

I got top 5000 in Arvis's Army with like 700 flags to carry over. Pretty efficient. Not many people in the army makes it easy.

Only drawback is I had to burn 200 flags in a non boosted hour because I was rank 5100 in the last hour and wanted the extra feathers. Gambit worked though at least since I gained about 200 spots by doing that. Hopefully it doesn't wreck my overall ranking too much.
