I'm really not a fan of harem anime. After looking through all the anime I've watched, I've actually only watched 3 shows with the "harem" tag on MyAnimeList: - Absolute Duo (main girl won) - Love Tyrant (harem ending, but main girl was closest to him) - Mayo-Chiki (main girl definitely won, I mean he actually fucked her on screen, it doesn't get more obvious than that) I also have some others I've watched that don't have the tag but were fairly harem-ish in nature: - A Certain Magical Index (totally undecided) - Armed Girls Machiavellism (undecided, but main girl was closest to him) - Gamers! (totally undecided) - Sword Art Online (main girl won) I like a more focused and developed romance than just harem shenanigans. So I guess that means seeing the main girl win (since she probably gets the most development) is generally the choice I'd want to see... unless the main girl was genuinely unlikable or one of the side girls was just that much more appealing. Darling in the Franxx is the first time that I've ever actively rooted for someone other than the main girl to get the guy's heart, because I'm not a fan of Zero Two and I really sympathize with Ichigo.
