I know most mangas are offered by the official distributors online, but I'm talking like a Netflix level of service that would maximize profit. Avid readers follow a ton of series at a time and keep searching for new series and drop a ton along the way. Very few people have incentive to just dive into the series not knowing whether or not they'll like it by paying any sum of money. Previews do exist, but due to the current state of how manga reading works, they'd have to give out quite a bit of previews (or not at all in a Netflix-like service). If you think about it, old volumes that don't sell or old series that ran its course, you can use them as bait to garner an audience much in a "it's new if they've never seen it before" kind of way

Yeah but I never use it. It's pretty hard to find/discover stuff or find opinions on each manga. Their online reader is also inflexible and inferior to at least 5-6 sites I can think of. Also =_= why the fuck are they using flash for their reader. Why? People don't use Flash for much of anything anymore. It's antiquated compared to faster and smoother stuff

Should theoretically be the opposite. Chrome is the one that's at the forefront of trying to ween the entirety of the internet off of Flash. I think you do have to install something for Firefox though? I've not used Firefox in a while but seems mine was already working. IE is theoretically the most Flash friendly, but imo Opera probably runs it best because for one thing anything is better than IE, for another almost everything works on Opera cuz they don't try to set trends

You do need to install flash player for Firefox separately. I removed mine when trying to troubleshoot a freezing issue I had on my computer and just never went back to installing it again since I discovered Chrome's. I'm pretty sure it's an outdated version so I'm likely just leaving myself vulnerable to all sorts of security shenanigans.

Nevermind, it seems to be on the newest version. I have no clue how this works.

The order for fafner is Dead aggressor > right of left > heaven and earth > exodus?, at least that's what i'm seeing online.

Edit: screw it ill just watch the movie first since it seems to be a direct sequel to dead aggressor, also holy shit just realized who miwa is, she's michio's daughter lol

Cookie, Heaven and Earth IS the movie. You need to watch it after season 1 and Right of Left, which you did it seems. You need to watch Exodus after Heaven and Earth, since Exodus is the sequel to Heaven and Earth.

It doesn't really hurt to read the wiki lol. You could've done that and saved yourself from being spoiled by watching things in the wrong order.

Also, you two REALLY need to check out angela music. They've done every Fafner songs except for the character songs sung by their VAs. I posted angela's music many times in these threads for years now probably. Cookie the movie ED is "Soukyuu" by angela. I have a lot of their Fafner songs and other songs including that one lol.

I can not stress enough how awesome angela is. One of my most favourite bands ever. I'm gonna keep posting their music here. People here need to know the greatness of Fafner and angela.

So I'm starting to rewatch Kino's Journey 2017 with the English dub. Three episodes down, and I can surely say that this season's dub is way better than the 2003 series'.

Kino and Hermes' voices fit almost perfectly, Shizu doesn't sound monotone anymore, and I guess Riku is more or less the same. The side characters' voices are great, too. I've also noticed that the BGM is a bit louder in the dub, which is actually pretty nice.

Why would i do that and potentially spoiler myself anyways? also cmon it was just 8 eps and now that i re-watched them everything makes more sense and besides you never specified the title of the anime, i didn't even know it had several seasons lol

Also seeing the characters in a new light made them even more amazing, and seeing Nicht and Sein again was more hype than before.

Nicht's new design is so bulky and edgy, and the colors it has are awesome, but seeing ep 7 again, i have to say that Zwlf's power is fucking ridiculous, hilarious and amazing, just grapple shit and evaporate it? badass, and Amaterasu's weaponry teleporting power is also so many degrees of ridiculous, i love the idea of just teleporting the swords into the festums and just blasting them up instantly

Really though, the new powered up mechs are all amazing, minus Susanoo because what it does is what Nicht and Sein already did...

Kaoru just skyrocketed up the Katana Maidens best girl rankings in this episode. I've really liked how this second cour is showing off new interactions from pairings that didn't get much development in the first cour. First Mai and Ellen, now Kaoru (plus Nene) and Sayaka... and Kaoru texting Hiyori just to mock her was great too.
