Ah, I wasn't sure if you were just saying all chainers, since Fry was included in there and her frames are similar, but she doesn't play nice with them. Now that everybody has access to easy chaining regardless of device, is the Orlandeau/DV/Agrias tree any better than your Fry's, OK's, Tidus' and Aileen's outside of 10 man trials?

The last time I saw the math, Fry was pretty far ahead of them. I believe Orlandeau was ahead of pre-enhancement Aileen, and OK/Tidus were debated due to lack of self imperil on a single turn, though I believe Tidus flies beyond them as well post-enhancements.

Does anyone have the math on Trance Terra. Someone said that after 4 turns she can outdamage Fry now, which would put her at number 2, but there was nothing shown for it. If she is better, I might need to put her in my general rotation more.

I really don't believe in being trolled by Rainbows, but I felt awfully close to it today.

Got my 5th Noctis from daily that went Yellow to Rainbow.

As of right now, I'm looking at it as a 5% Trust Moogle for one of the other four TMRs.

Stupid easy. Light Chain probably handles it on it's own, but a Finisher will secure it for sure.

Put on Germinas Boots and just Escape everything you encounter. They drop pitiful amounts of Debassed Coins, and the Ronin might possibly ohko a unit preventing you from getting the Iron Duke, but only if you don't take it seriously.

It's literally a joke how easy it is.

I was expecting a challenge, went in with my Trial team of Ayaka, Rikku, Ace, Warrior of Light, and A2, and a friend Orlandeau, and steam rolled everything.

How much further do I have to go in Season 1? I'm in the third area of the floating continent things (Volcano I think), after beating Sol in the Crystal Tower.

Yeah, I was hoping for more out of her. The exploration piece was annoying too, not excited for that to become the new normal.

I just beelined it straight for the boss. There's no equipment on that exploration that was really worth spending time getting it. I only ran into two encounters along the way, so it wasn't bad.

I just got the equipment on Easy, and went straight there on hard. I really don't like explorations but I needed that Carbon Bangle.

Enhancements are usually after the maintenance around the 15th. Otherwise the week after unless special circumstances.

I would keep two Angel Wands around for a certain someone though. The fist if you don't have Winged Saint.

Congrats! His TMR is good enough to have a few to share. With Aileen's enhancements and the extra 50% with a spear you should have no issues hitting her 300% cap!

Agreed. She's more of a long-term project though, since she requires a lot of TMR investment. I still only have one VoH too, so farming all of this up is either going to take months of Earth Shrine or months-worth of Moogles. I figure I'll wait until her Enhancements come out to make some of these a priority, since I don't want to give up on GLS too quickly.

Really though, I think I'd rather have Mystea. She's the only banner unit I don't have, and I have plenty of offensive options. Not gonna argue, but also not gonna lie.

It sounds like she's really important coming up, and a friend of mine has cleared Echidna and Octopus Teacher since he got her, with no carry unit. I haven't used her at all yet so I don't have any firsthand knowledge of her.

If you remember from a few months back I mentioned he was the one with 50m hp.

Tankevia will sit there with the moogle.

The issue is you need to deal with his magic fire 400% ST, 700% aoe and 2k% aoe with said -100% imperil.

(As a shits and giggles since Fenrir is coming, his 3* in the far future is 90m hp and deals with dark and ice in the 900% territory on top of absorbing them.... And well, massive aoe debuff+stun, and single target confusion on top of death...)

Rainbow Robe from Marie will give +30%, though there's plenty of armors out there that'll give +50%.
Ifrit will give +50% too, getting people to +100% fire res has been one of the easier things to do. so assuming one of the 50% armors is good enough...

dragon helm gives an additional 20% res.
Marie's Barfiraga/Minfilia's Flame Guard does +70% res.

just gotta fit 10% more, either by accessory or materia. clearest examples are Minfilia's TMR - which was pretty much free - which gives +10% res to all elements and Garnet's TMR, which is +20% to all elements.

she's a magic AoE tank.
in situations where magic AoE is the big deal, she'll shine in ways they can't.

You are still eating an unbreakable 2k% magical modifier even with over 100% fire immunity on everyone on turn one when the nuke goes off.

Unless your party is full of 400+ SPR units, and even then I wouldn't bet on their survival rate. (Plus he can add a 100% all stats buff.)

You need to mod your magic aoe tank for each battle anyway for a 150-200% resistance for various elements when you don't stack a lot of SPR+HP for other battles.

(Some can be more annoying like earth, wind or light depending on what you have at hand.)

Ah... I thought Mystea was a Support akin to Marie and Rikku, not Tank. That makes more sense then I guess.
