Orlandeau is still really good, he's just boring.

His enhancements should be coming relatively soon though, so his value should go up in relation to the other top tier chainers like A2 and DV, who won't get enhancements for a while (or maybe ever in A2's case).

That's why I'm really worried about GLSakura, even though I absolutely adore her. I know she's going to drop off in usage no matter what I do, and unlike any of my other chainers I won't get another chance until next year, and even then she'll be horribly outdated. I doubt enhancements are going to bring her up to 7* level. So I'll enjoy her as long as I can, and since I seem to have a lot of luck getting units that are going to be very popular post enhancement, I'll just enjoy the trends as they show up on my friend list.

And probably still keep goth loli up for as long as I can because I seriously doubt anyone needs any of the units I have to offer. Half the reason I didn't slap my Noctis up was because everyone and their mother had one; I'd rather make sure people had a GLS available, especially since people are still running Bloody Moon. I'd like to imagine that mine helped someone out there, makes me feel better about not yet beating it myself. Need to see if I can get Charlotte up to a reasonable HP level.

It's TMR Advice time again! I've got 100% in moogles saved up, and it's time to figure out what to use them on. Right now the name of the game is Defensive TMRs, as I'm in very bad shape on those.

Of my 5* options I have

Love
Ring of Lucii
Japa Mala

Japa Mala seems more like a hybrid TMR that's great for units in general, but not strictly necessary. Same with Ring of the Lucii. Love is my clear favorite, as HP/MP are desperately needed for tanks, but I don't know if it's outdated at this point.

4* options that I'll either never farm or are still really good are

Patriotic Recall
Thirst for Survival
Jake's Pirate Ring

I'm actually farming up two Patriotic Recall right now (not sure if combining is a good idea), but I have a third Rassler, and they seem pretty popular. It's also going to be a long while before I farm those two up. I've only got one Crowe, so again, farming that would be difficult. I've got two Pirate Jake, but it's such a good TMR that there's no way I'm combining them.

At this point, I'm thinking Love, Thirst for Survival, and the Pirate Ring are the biggest contenders, with Love and Thirst tied for my first choice. It really comes down to if SPR or MP is more useful, and while I know everyone leans SPR, my tanks constantly struggle with MP costs unless I have a battery.

Alright, that's kind of what I figured. I would like to point out, I have absolutely no 30% HP materia whatsoever. That's the main reason I'm looking at Love and Thirst for Survival, as those are both huge boons to my tanks.

Finally getting back into TMR grinding. Unfortunately, for some reason I wanted to get TMRs for Olive??? So my team is now Olive/Desch/Amelia/Silvia/Rikku. And they are too far in to drop them, so I'll just grind them out first.

Still working on Aileen, Rassler, Rassler, Ignus, Ignus. So nothing that's getting finished soon because they're all solo farms. At least one Ignus is at 75%, so one of them will be done soon. Not even sure why I'm doing them now; I was going for them to make Ashe a solid mage, but I just don't use her outside the Arena now. Maybe there's potential for her chaining with GLS for 10-mans? Not likely since she can't DC her abilities.

The Ice Spear is nice, but I'm still waiting for an awesome Ice Sword or Katana for Dracu Laswell (Needle doesn't count because why would I put that on DLas over Fry >_>?)

Oh... In other news, I beat Aigaion today, sans the World Destroyer mission. I got myself an Excalibur & Aigaion Arm A2 now with over 1050 attack. I might fiddle with my gear some more and see if maybe I can get it over 1100, but without a few key TMRs, I'm not sure if that will be possible.

I could swap Excalibur for Beastlord, but I'm of the impression that I want the light chaining capability.

Seems like the rate up is actually here to stay, I had my suspicions that itnwouldnonly be for one day even though they said it was permanent, but the data seems to show that its still here, which is great!

I feel like the Rainbow Rate up also includes the likelihood of pulling a new Rainbow over a duplicate. With the exception of on Banner Noctis, my other 5*s have included Dark Fina, Queen, and Duke, which are all new to me.

I hope that's the case, I'm still missing Wilhelm and a Seabreeze Dark Fina to BiS Fryevia. I did get 5 new ones, haven't got a rainbow since, but I'm not expecting any for a long time given that massive luck wave on Friday.

Of the three Ive gotten since the rate up, two have been new and one was a dupe of a character I already had a dupe of. And sadly, I doubt Ill use either of them because one was Onion Knight, and Ive got better chainers, and the other was Duke.
