I didn't get any rainbows, but I got a second Crowe, Rasler, and another good 4* TMR that I can't remember right now.

My wife got Noctis on the daily though! She wasn't even excited when the rainbow dropped because she assumed it was going to be another Lightning.

There's not a way to turn off all attack animations, is there? I tried playing with the different options and nothing came up. Some of the attack animations take so damn long while TMR grinding!

Does your setup use everyone to attack? Mine only has two people attacking at all, and so I can make sure that they're the ones on the team with the fastest attack animations.

And 10+1 was a bust for me as well. Gaffgarion and Seven dupes for golds, and a whole lotta blue.

Mine just uses auto. I don't want to risk it trying to change settings or make a call or something if the screen somehow changes (not really an issue on my iphone 7, had that problem with 6 though), so I'll just deal for now. Noctis is over 60% anyway

How many TMRs does that require? I haven't really tried to go past 8k hp with any tank, but I might be able to do it, though I'm not sure how much my defenses will suffer for it.

I always feel like I've really missed out on something when limited time units are gone.

I never got Ling the first time she came around, and she was like in EVERYONE's strategies for Trials. Now I didn't pull a single Pirate Jake, and his TMR is all the rave right now.

attack animations depends on the attack.
let's use Noctis as an example: should i disable battle animations in the menu, he raises his hand and the ability goes off. should i use warp attack, he goes through the basic attack animation from auto-attack.

You can still substitute with 2 Arsha's Talisman with similar results (only a loss of 10% HP). The 14.5k HP won't be viable for actual use though because he has no status resists, and it seems like you want your tank to be immune to status more often than not. Going to have to test how high I can get Tankevia next!

Edit: Tankevia final stats: 12,277 HP, 433 Def, 250 Spr. In other words, pretty much impossible to kill. Yeah, she could get hit with sleep or petrify (can protect against those for a 10% loss in HP), and can also protect against instant death by dropping a Ring. Her innate 20% physical/mag dodge and I shall not lose! make her even better, didn't think of those!

Even with all of that, I still want Wilhelm so much.

I used WoL because he's my best tank right now (unless you count Tankevia. Pretty sure she blows WoL out of the water based on my limited testing so far). I have VoE as well, but I haven't used him more than once.

If you have Illusionist Nichol (or a friend with one), you have Tankevia! I'm tempted to go in and do a long run on Aigaion just to see if she can survive the left arm. I saw reports that she was the only character aside from Wilhelm that could do it, but this makes her even better!

This is the list of questions handed over to the PD at Seoul Fan Festa. Official answers were given today just now at the official Korean community.

I skipped some questions which seemed pointless or too obvious to me.

Q. Are you aware of various hacks? If you do, what measures are being made to take care of them?
A. Appropriate measures are done according to the ToS, and legal actions are being made against the sites related to hacks

Q. Are you planning any additional methods of communicating with the player base?
A. We are planning to hold a Q&A session, probably once every month.

Q. Why are the summon rates not published?
A. Policy.

Q. Why does GL have a different EX point reward than JP?
A. We wanted players to get a different 5* every time they achieve a certain EX point milestone, rather than getting the same unit every time.

Q. Are you planning on improving or adding chaining tools to make chaining easier, so we don't have to rely on macros or other weird methods?
A. We do not recommend using macros or other methods for chaining.

Q. Any plan to simplify the Facebook friend interface?
A. No.

Q. We're confronting similar glitches/errors almost every update, what wrong?
A. Sorry, we hope the monthly Q&A will help us improve the user experience.

Q. Do you have any plans for an in-game messaging system?
A. No.

Q. Why is the rate of banner units on guaranteed 4* crystals half of that in JP?
A. The rate of banner units in 4* guaranteed crystals will also be raised when triple rainbow rate is applied.

Q. Is there a plan to move unwanted 3* base units to the friend point summon?
A. No.

Q. Is there a general rule in which materias are stackable or not?
A. It's all about balance, if stacking the same materia becomes too powerful, too much burden may be given to the player as they feel like they need multiple copies of the TMR.

Q. Any plan of making use of 100% trust units?
A. We are considering it, but no specific plan is established yet.

Q. Any plan of hardcord grinding content similar to the Ring of Dominion?
A. We are considering adding more trophy rewards, but no specific plans yet.

Q. Does the AI use enhanced abilities in the arena?
A. Yes.

Q. Any plans of introducing higher tiers of the Colosseum?
A. Maybe sometime in the future.

Q. Any plans of remaking main FF units? (like Trance Terra)
A. Yes, we do have plans. Please look forward to the news.

Q. Any plans of improving the whole trust mastery system?
A. No.

Q. Please increase the max limit of friends (130)
A. We're considering it.

Q. Do you have plans of granting a bonus if the whole party is consisted of 1 FF series? (for instance, a party of FF6 units)

Q. Are there plans of 7* awakening of GL exclusive units?
A. 7* awakening will come in the future, but we can't give specific info yet.

Q. Will limited collab units receive 7* awakening?
A. The plans for 7* awakening in GL is still in development, but in general we are planning to give 7* awakening to all 5star base units.

Q. How about batch summoning using summon tickets?
A. We are looking into improving the summon ticket summon process, but no specific plans yet.

Q. Please make some use for weapons that are not used such as bows, harps, etc.
A. We're looking into the issue, any feedback will be welcome.

Q. Any plans in implementing the ability to time the landing of jump attacks?
A. We're looking into it, will let you know through in-game announcements when it comes.

I wish there was just a way to go into Aigaion and see if Tankevia can survive the nuke without wasting my energy. That's a lot of TMR grinding to waste if I actually go for the clear, and if I just let myself wipe after that it's even more of a waste.

I'm thinking DV, DV (with weaker fire/holy weapons), Ace, Ayaka, WoL, Rikku. It feels weird not going into a trial with double Fry, but that 125% fire/light weakness is just too tempting.

Edit: Wait, that's 6! I have to get rid of one of them for a companion unit. Booooo. Will probably drop the second DV then, since there will probably be a ton of similarly geared DVs up during the event.

My only real concern is that this is apparently an exploration event, and I really like having Fry for those. Her AoE attack kills all mobs and it's so fast. DVs will do the job, but it takes so long to do.

I also need to figure out how my wife can get the clear and the greatsword with her more lackluster unit group.

Oh, it's not a real concern, I just hate explorations and like to spend the least amount of time possible in them.

The bigger concern is helping my wife, since her only chainers are A2 and Orlandeau (and she's started taking him out of her party if I put him back in)

Kind of odd variant. Going to post the 7* second batch later. Mercenary Ramza more or less gets both of Basch's AoE tank moves. (Both physical and magic.)

FV gets a 3k% ST attack on turn 8.

LV gets a 3.6-4k AoE light hybrid move on turn 6.(5 Turn CD)

Dunno how to interpret what they did to Noctis beyond 25% for a mixed flask combo, 40% summon damage, 134% rige, and self buff....

Loren got overall better.

Cloud's LB now hits for 2.5k% 15 hits opposed to 2.1k. Bump up in damage for some abilities, a short super buff like A2. W-ability.

Bea gets a 4.2k% light hybrid ST 1 Hit if she used her CD move. Otherwise 1.4k%. And some stat buffs.

Eiko gets another 60% summon dmg, AoE Araise, 100mp aoe(not herself) with 5-6 summon stones, a mother load of spr% boost on top of high tide and another 10%mp regen. (Guess they don't want to outright give her Curaja despite her LB is with that 26x mod.)
