Your enjoyment will increase proportionally to how many harems you've seen where the girls beat the shit out of the main male lead for borderline no reason. For me it was sweet justice. From the little bit of the manga I read, it was actually the other way around; the guy smacked the girl around extremely often. Maybe that left a bad taste and they changed it for the anime or something.

But the girl who takes the most beatings has gotta be Kuro from Black God/Kurokami. If she's not getting beaten to a bloody pulp in a fight, she's being beaten up by the protagonist himself. I heard his jerkass tendencies were drastically toned down in the anime.

So the Golden Kamuy anime, is going to be made by a new studio named Geno studio. Kinda worried now. Though, the director is the guy who directed baccano and durarara, which have large ensemble cast from what I know, given that I haven't seen either. Some people have already begun to label the studio as a successor of Manglobe since some staff members worked at Manglobe before, but I doubt that's the actual case and it's just coincidence.

My taste in hentai is pretty vanilla for the most part. I don't really like orgies or gangbangs or any of that kind of stuff, and I ESPECIALLY DON'T like NTR stuff.

Even then... that Mizuryu Kei Land hentai is... pretty top tier. The animation in that one is some of the best I've ever seen.

I usually only watch uncensored series most of the time, but even with the censoring, it beats out all of the ones I've seen by a mile.

But man, it really put my tastes to the test, since it had pretty much everything that I DON'T like in a hentai, but it managed to "entertain" me regardless.

I feel you on the vanilla taste in hentai. I assume hentai does this just to compete with actual porn but it's got some pretty twisted fetishy stuff. I wish they would just focus on making the context for the sex good and leave the sex itself fairly standard. Sucks to be watching something good and then BOOM dark magic, 50 year old fat tokyo businessmen (probably with masks), and fuckin tentacles.

Oh, something else that pisses me off to end isn't really hentai's fault, but rather everywhere that has it. The yuri label. People are not using this shit correctly. Just because a scene has two girls in at for 5 seconds does not mean it's yuri dammit. A threesome is NOT yuri. Stop it labeling people. Skimmed through so many shit hentai looking for the supposed yuri scene just to find out there isn't one. It's also a complete bummer how few yuri hentai there actually are. The only good one is shoujo sect. Every time a yuri hentai is starting to be good it feels like the director goes "it's just girls, the audience will lose interest. Quick! Get the dark magic and tentacles!"

There's sooo many mangas I'm interested in reading right now, don't know where to start. I've only got about 4 chapters of One Punch left to read & then I'm gonna have to wait for new chapters... Thought I'd read Mob Psycho 100 to fill the gap.

I also read the first 6 or so chapters of Assassination Classroom, but damn, These kids are stupid! They don't seem to know anything about the-element-of-surprise & they've let atleast 10 perfectly set up assassination opportunitys slip right under there noises! Nothing really makes sense in this series, if the whole planet is trying to kill this guy, they'd succeed. They wouldn't need a bunch of (literal) reject minors to do it. Not to mention, if the world is ending in less then a year unless they kill this guy, why are they spending so much time & energy on things that don't in any way contribute to killing the guy!?

Just with traps alone you could shut this guy down...

How is it physically possible that sachi has been haunting an all girls school for 80 years!!! and not managed to catch one glimpse of some girlxgirl action? Hell, how the fuck does anyone get to highschool and not know how that works? Does yuna not have access to the internet? They have all the time and privacy in the world, you would figure they'd manage to come up with something just experimenting. You'll see why traps or ambushes have no effect on the teacher the more you read the series.

AssClass is another one of those mangas that I consider one of the better examples of having an OP character be fun and engaging and not be a total Mary Sue.

If that doesn't work, what about just traping him in a room filled with bombs or something? I can't help shaking the feeling that if the government actually puts their minds to it, stoping him shouldn't be that hard...

They actually do the things you said, and he still manages to escape.

You have to remember that "silenced" rifles don't actually mean "silent." Koro-sensei can and does sense when they go off (with a combination of his super-smell and hearing), and considering his feats, can easily dodge them if he wanted to.

Also, about the government involvement, you have to remember that he basically threatened to blow up the earth if he didn't get to do his little class experiment, and he already showed that he can do just that with the moon. Plus, the government has no idea of what the true scope of his powers are. For all they know, he can just explode the moment he realizes the government broke their promise; they can't risk that, so they follow along for now.

To be fair though, the government does do some stuff in later chapters, you might not have reached those yet.

Heck they could probably kill him with some kind of laser which would obviously move at the speed of light and thus be completely undetectable until it hits you. It's one of those premises that you can't really think too hard about. Also I'm pretty sure fucking up the moon as much as he did would ruin life on earth, at least as we know it. It has a pretty dramatic effect on tides.

Oh definitely, Assassination Classroom relies on some pretty heavy suspension of disbelief. But if you can manage that, it's a pretty fun read/watch.

Most bullets travel at around Mach 2 -3. Koro-sensei's supposed top speed is Mach 20 (I say supposed since if you calculate his later feats he easily surpasses Mach 35). Plus, it was shown that he can smell humans and metals from around a kilometer away. At that distance, he can definitely hear the bullet before it reaches him.

Funnily enough, you're completely right. One of his greatest weaknesses later on in the series, is a special light that renders him completely immobile. Also, by the final arc, the government had cooked up an orbital laser, and a special anti-sensei light grid/net around the school in order to finally finish him off.

Where's he gonna live after that? Why does he care about money if he's supposedly so powerful & cruel? Why does he care about the education of people he's gonna kill in a year? Is he just straight up demented? I supposes it will be explained more in later chapters but.....

Yea. I think it's going to be a challenge structuring it in anime form, because the overall narrative is more akin to wind guiding a ship than rails guiding a train. There are many story arcs that only contribute a step towards the overall narrative, but they're tightly paced, and story arcs tie certain overall details into each other.

There's 120 chapters out, and I would guess there can be 200 to 300 chapters to finish the story. The anime isn't going to make much ground, but it's a lot of fun. I think it's exemplary of "The journey is more important than the destination". The characters are all pretty static, but the lack of dynamic characters doesn't hamper the ethos of the series.

The main draw of the series I would say are moments and combinations of badassery, nature, comedy, and cultural values. Sometimes, it reminds me of a documentary, given how much it delves into wilderness survival, Ainu culture, and historical context of the time (1920's Japan). And then, there's also occasional poop or sexual jokes, because fuck, shit's funny.

This is not how sound works. If the bullet is going faster than sound than it literally doesn't matter how fast korosensei can move. There is no sound for him to hear because it hasn't gotten there yet. Same with the smell and if his smell detection range is really only 1 km than it'd be relatively easy to snipe him since shots have been made from over 1.5 miles away.

Avoiding lasers would require some sort of sense that we can't comprehend since they move at the speed of light and thus are literally impossible to see coming.

Anyway I've only seen like 2 eps of the anime right after it aired but I dropped it. Wasn't really enjoying it. I assume for whatever reason, korosensei wants to die and that's why he threatens earth. That or he is preparing us for some bigger threat. Or he caught a GTO broadcast on his way to destroy earth and wanted to reenact it before destroying us. That would be pretty awesome.

OMg so I saw the first episode of the new shonen, Black Clover and jesus....the main character is like a combination of Naruto and Spongebob. Like he is REALLY ANNOYING. He's always screaming his head off and he's obnoxious af.

Yeah, that part in the manga always bothered me too. I think he only managed to avoid getting sniped since he knew where the snipers were and he could see the bullets travelling to him. At least, that's my generous handwaving away of that bit of inconsistency.

Dang, lesbian ghosts is an endless gauntlet of yuri. It's also very slow starting which I guess I'm ok with. Just hit july, kinda wanna kill the teacher, the student that likes her is awesome and I just feel bad for her so far. I almost instantly predicted everything that's happened with the trio and I'm pretty impressed with myself for that. The rocker girl is pretty funny, I like her a lot too. The ghosts are kinda annoying, their reason for still being around is flimsy at best, and I'm pretty sure I see drama coming from the ending a mile away. Kinda wish they just weren't part of the story and yuna had some other reason to go around getting all the girls to hook up.

O well, still like 2/3rds of the months to go so that could all change. The last line in the last main part in june really worries me. I'm afraid I can guess how it's gonna end and I'm not gonna be happy with that at all. If sachi is just trying to get megumi to pass on to respect her feelings for her and her death I'm gonna be pissed, but that makes the most sense. Clearly sachi had a strong enough attachment to keep haunting the school for 50 years before megumi died so it seems unlikely that she just instantly fell for megumi and got over her old issues. I really hope I'm wrong here.

Aha! Hina has reminded me of someone this whole time and I couldn't remember. Her personality is almost exactly the same as main guy from gundam iron blooded orphans. Not the guy in charge but the one that pilots the main gundam. I know the character type isn't unique but they really respond and act exactly the same minus hina's gluttony.
