Winner spec:

Ryan and Chrissy were already my top two picks based on the fact that they were getting likable, complex edits.... and that music that they played during their scene together REALLY caught my ear. I'm now very very confident that the winner is one of the two.

Yeah that music, coupled with Jessica bullying Mike, really made me doubt my winner pick. Still, they're keeping Jessica relevant for some reason despite her still not attending tribal. Way more relevant than Michele was. Of course, she could be getting an Anna edit, since she was more visible than Michele and it was to setup a shocking boot. Her edit being so closely linked to Cole's is troubling, and it seems like he could be her downfall, but I'm sticking to my guns. If Cole leaves I will feel way better about my pick though, even more so if Jessica plays a part in getting him out.

IDK. Like it's not HvV or Cagayan, or even Kaoh Rong (I haven't seen a lot of seasons), but it's more a case of even bad Survivor is good TV to me.

They had to play the idol successfully for it to count as a "best," obviously. This list is a reason I love Cambodia so much.

Tyson's first in BvW (so forgettable)
Adam at F5 of MvX (for telling Hannah about it)
...Ziggy... in Australian Survivor 2017

Again, they had to actually play the idol, but with no reason to do so. I tried to avoid any that were brilliant manipulation with a decoy target. Except Adam, who did it to himself.

That was just thinking quickly. I know many of you haven't seen that last one on the worst list, but... trust me, that might be the single worst of all time.

This season is weird because my feelings on the cast are mixed so far but in terms of editing/gameplay/story it reminds me a lot of Cagayan, which is a top 3 season for me.

I'm a fan of this season. Don't always need fantastic episodes each week to be good. First three were OK, premiere was generic but for me it's doing way more than anything last season.

I think the season's fine. I just don't really have anyone I'm really invested in yet. Maybe Chrissy, but everyone else is kinda there. I like Roark pre-game, but she apparently isn't actually on this season.

I have to say, I'll actually miss Alan. I mean, it's not like I'd want him to win, but I think he would have been entertaining to have around for a bit more and he would have probably made a good first juror or something. That being said, he still brought a bit during his short time, and I certainly can't blame Joe for taking him out.

I may not be a fan of the advantages going around, but if they're going to be there, I like the idea of them only lasting a round or two at most since it stops what happened last season from happening again. Well, in theory at least.

Random prediction from the end of episode preview (since that's the only one I ever watch) would be that Yawa goes to Tribal just for being the only Tribe not mentioned in the preview, lol. But I don't put any stock in that really.

These characters could be as good as Cagayan the screentime isn't being divided very well... thanks Ryan!

Four of those were on my list; as for the one that wasn't, I just don't like Russell Hantz that much, and there were some Galus that said they looked at that bridge before Hantz did, but.nobody can know for sure. Honestly, the reason I didn't include that one was because it wasn't what I was rooting for, and based on your logic, it probably should be there instead of Jeremy saving Fishbach.

Very happy with #1. I watched that three dozen times in the month after it aired, so it would be my #1 also. My personal #2 is... you guys probably know >_>

Wut. Abi definitely had to save herself. She was the primary target in that split vote. If it had gone to a tie, she would have gone home, not Pete. And then she won immunity in the next round, then Carter became a Sunday-esque "the quiet person is suddenly a huge threat" episode, so in essence she bought herself three rounds with that idol. It should probably be on the better list.

Worst for me is Troy in One World. Not entirely his fault, actually his plan was pretty good, and his suspicions about Kim were correct, but then that entire alliance turned what would have been a fantastic blindside into an utter disaster.

Methinks I need to rewatch Philippines next for remembering that wrong. >_>

Troy in One World isn't horrific - it's more the fault of Jay Byars than his, so I can't say that was worse than the one in Australian Survivor.

Just finished big brother 2.

Boy was that a chore lol. There is a large lack of things going on in 1.5 episodes of the show. I'll be happy when the show switches to the current format. Will's game picks up greatly once his alliance members are eliminated. Nicole's game was underrated though. I feel if she would have owned it a little more she could have won but that's the difference between 2001 and 2017.
