UCA_Renee_Young: Strife, I wanted to get your thoughts on not only losing the Undisputed Championship but losing to Tom in the #1 Contender's Tournament.

UCA is what I am driven to, and it drives me to do things to my body that most of these people cannot fathom. It drives me to do things to other people that are heinous crimes anywhere else. Doing so rewarded me with the longest, toughest reign as Taybles champion, this crown, and those voices in my head died the night I had glory in my hands. But what they didn't warn me was they would return, louder, piercing into my brain like locusts infesting fields.

With so little time left, I went from aide, to master, to subjugated yet again. Tom could get what I let slip away. Will I see that glory again? I have time, but it slips away as we speak, as it does for all of us. Anyone else would find solace in achieving what I have, so why do I feel so miserable? Perhaps because I lacked the time to enjoy it. My ascension came at the same time the world was destined to end.

The price I paid to Fate for recent glory was steep indeed. My body and my mind are still battered, bruised, and beyond repair. I no longer sleep, and am left thinking of ways to throw myself into the night. How am I supposed to respond knowing that for the first time in six months, I know nothing of my future? Patience is a virtue, and time is a commodity, but will I find a new path before it's too late?

On Combat, my time egg brother and I go to war to see if either of us will take on Tom for a chance at the undisputed title. I haven't found true singles success in a long amount of time. I truly hope that I can tap into that part of my former self and give my partner the fight of my life.

Someone Set Us Up the Tom Bomb!
Tom Bombadil got his win back from the KotB finals, knocking off Strife2 in the semifinals of the HW Contendership Tournament. He will now face Emerald in the finals. Tom followed that up by defeating LW Champion XIII_Rocks on TOMBAT. The Kingdom and Time Egg keep crossing paths. Will that continue at UCAnniversary?

Emerald wanted to lay waste to me, to end me? I wish he could have. We have so little time remaining. I see how futile struggles are. We can't defy Fate. What we want, what we desire, what we "deserve" is constantly tested by her whims, rather than our own power. How else would you consider recent events? ZSig, Tom, Emerald, same story, different eyes. Here's where the hero never, ever dies. One will walk away doing what I couldn't: hold UCA's diseased world upon your shoulders with a disgusting, sickening pride. The reason I failed was I lacked your penchants for "playing nice." My best laid plans, my glorious hubris at creating spectacle failed, and I was fed to dogs for my trouble. A harsh lesson that playing evil only gets you so far, and playing above your station will quickly get you killed.

But no matter how much I fail, Fate continues to kick me in the face with opportunities to redeem myself. When I returned with fire in my veins, I vowed to actively pursue gold with my King. Why did it not come to pass? Sultan, David, chemistry? Tom did what I couldn't, not once, but twice: proving my point that on a whim, he could do what I can't. But Sultan and David aren't around anymore. Eaed and Emerald are. Eaed can only feign ignorance for so long. He knows the future, but refuses to share it for our benefit. We both took over for XIII, yet only he had the foresight. How else could he know UCA's dying day is approaching? How else could he jump from one partner to another without losing a step? He is making a sick joke of this, profiting off our misery. He is making a mockery of what Apollo and I have done these past 12 months: gold beyond measure, tainted black by poison we couldn't see coming.

Emerald is leeching off said ability. Right place, right time, and right type of person for Eaed to exploit. Popular, brazen, and hopelessly naive. Should Apollo and I face you, it will be a harsh lesson into what the future truly means: being trampled underfoot by those with experience and intense willpower. Neither of us need to see the future to know we can dominate, and have proven that many times over.

What I want is to fulfill my first obligation: make Apollo champion again BY MY HANDS! I am the one person who was willing to stand at the side of greatness, rather than in front of it. My recent success came out of unique circumstance, not by choice, and was fleeting. I get another chance to do set things right, and to paraphrase a fallen god of managers, You are in my way. You are in the way of something I dream about. Before UCA ends, I want to stand at the side of the champions of the world. You may be champions now, but that will soon be former, and that means you will be nothing.

When the Kingdom get through with you, you will be less than nothing.

I hate to brag here, but need I remind you that I've taken care of your precious partner AND mine, the one you say I've leeched off of, in quick succession? In dominating fashion no less. In fact, you took such a beating, I can still see the bootprint on your back side where he kicked your ass! And, not to mention, Chronic took you to the limit. You had a real hard time putting him down. It truly was a great match, but for someone who is supposed to be demolishing his opponents, I was a little disappointed by your performance.

On the other hand, you gave me Sir Chris, and I won handily. Sir Chris is no slouch, but I am the greatest champion of all time. That's just a fact.

On Ruin...

Wigs! You won first, and were the only person not to actively pick a box. You were left with Box #1, which contains....The Jesterdom! As Master of Taybles, that means that you have a chance to get rid of the Jesterdom if you can retain at UCAnniversary!

David! You won the second round, and appropriately chose box #2, which contains one of the oldest and most sacred traditions of UCA. I speak, of course, of The Eagle Costume! You shall become the Alec Soaring Eagle until such time as we decide otherwise!

Stifled! You were the first to pick, taking box 3. (It is now that I realize that you all got the boxes corresponding with your win order.) Finally, you get something good- a shot at the Master of Taybles! Of course, now that Wigs is the Jester, that's a double-edged sword....

I'm sure everyone knows who is what contender for what belt, but helps for cases like Solio, who is a HW fighting for a LW belt, and what not. Besides, with David and Wigs holding both a title and an accoutrement for now, I figured it's best to keep it all organized.
