HE'S ACTUALLY NOT IN THE LINEUP TPDAY DESPITE BEING HURT!!!!

here's hoping tc doesn't give in and pinch hit him.



Oh also Tommy milone got hurt too which normally wouldn't be a big deal cuz he sucks ass but dont forget he's on the team for a reason because our starting pitchers are so decimated so now there is literally no one left to start Saturday except human garbage pile Rafael Montero and nonlongman reliever Josh Smoker

The media made it sound like the cancer had spread. It turns out that the lump that was on the testicle that they removed was cancerous and the rest of his body hasn't been affected. That being said they aren't throwing him back into the fray immediately as a precaution.

Mets had this game won about 500 times but they lost because they are the most cursed team in baseball.

We lost because we left 12 guys on base and the bullpen is an atrocity (its an atrocity because familia got hurt) and also Terry Collins is the worst bullpen management of all time. I know everyone thinks that about their own guy but no he actually really is.

Way I see it if Layne, Mitchell, and Holder have to eat innings somewhere it may as well be in games that are basically decided either way. Betances, Green, Shreve, and Clippard have been excellent and I would rather have them protecting close leads. Teams that consistently win close games are always at the top of the standings.

i love Harper, would rather have him. he's the better player, and like Seph said, more entertaining as well. plus he's a well-known Yankee fan.

i feel like Machado might be the more likely signing, though. it's looking like it will either be Castro & Harper or Frazier & Machado, with Torres playing second or third. going with Castro/Harper allows you to get some good value out of trading Frazier, but both Machado and Frazier would cost a lot less money and Hal hasn't been as big a spender as George was.

First time Strickland saw Harper in 3 years, since that series. It's not a petty thing to these players at all when the player shows you up. Harper was mouthing up at Strickland in the dugout after those HRs in those playoffs. Of course he still held the grudge after 3 years because he never had an opportunity for retribution. As long as he didn't throw at his head, which he didn't.

Mets won one of those crazy games they usually lose tonight. up 4-1 in the 6th, blow the lead in the end thanks to Asdrubal dropping a simple pop up (Lost it in the mist/lights), 4-4. But Mets stay strong and win in 12, thanks to 3 great innings from Smoker.

non-prospect but needed fill in Tyler Pill solid first ever big league start.

and yes the mets have pitchers named Pill and Smoker
