The Grand City Malorg-Nai, of the 657th Borlon Empire
Malorg-Nai is a sprawling, high-tech city powered by magic. It is roughly double the size of the modern New York City, and it i dense with colossal buildings and structures used to contain magical energy. During the Great Majick War, the Borlon Empire's capital city was bombarded endlessly by neo-magic. As such, the entire city is almost suffocatinigly shrouded in magical residue. Everything, even the air, is thick with it. As most of Malorg-Nai's residents were aligned with nature magic, there are many trees, forests, parts, and other numerous plant life.

Three more terrains, two of them boring. All of my characters now have "home" terrains, though in the case of Van it might not even end up on his list of preferred terrains. >_>
The Big White
Everywhere you look, it's white, white, white, with nothing to break up the monotony of it all. There seems to be a ground here, though it blends in with everything else, and the ground is perfectly level and extends forever in every direction. It's perfectly smooth, too, but somehow there's still plenty of friction to fight easily enough. If you fly up, you can fly forever and never leave the place. It's the perfect setting for a fight if you want absolutely nothing getting in your way.
The Stranded Strand
A small island untouched by human hands - or anyone else's hands, for that matter. It's about a mile in diameter, but not a perfect circle by any means. About one third of the island's coastline is a right inviting beach; the water's calmer there. The other two thirds are rocky bluffs; if the rocks don't do you in, the rapids might. In the middle of the island is dense tropical jungle, but luckily the island's small enough to make it hard to get lost. The water's shallow enough to fight in for about 100 feet from the beach, further than that and you better know how to swim. And if you do know how to swim, you'll find crystal clear water and plenty of natural structures near the seafloor for hiding in and around. Careful though, go too deep and the sun won't be able to find you. Aquatic or flying fighters who leave the island will find that the ocean seems to stretch on forever, with no other shores in sight...
The UPSS Perspicacity
A Universe Police Spaceship. Big enough to carry a crew of 100 people comfortably, but it's seen better days. Life support and artificial gravity are still online, thankfully. There are a number of both large and small rooms; the larger rooms have miscellaneous items like tables and control consoles bolted to the floor that can be used as cover. Some of the larger rooms are multiple levels or at least have scaffolding near the top. Smaller rooms are mostly crew quarters; cramped and with nothing of interest. Most of the ship's rooms are connected by corridors which have nothing in the way of cover. Be careful, as damage to the ship has caused a number of hazards. Electricity arcs out from damaged walls, scalding hot steam shoots from vents, and fires have started in some places. In some parts of the ship, lighting no longer functions, plunging them into near pitch darkness. In the ship's hangar, artificial gravity has failed (though life support hasn't); fighters who enter the hangar will find a number of boxes, smaller craft, and assorted debris floating about. Another large room has somehow managed to flood. The ship's engine room and adjacent areas have superheated, so entering them without protection isn't recommended. All prior occupants of the ship have evacuated, and taking control of the smaller craft or the ship itself is no longer possible. Leaving the ship is possible, if you wanted to blast your way out -- but all that awaits you is the vacuum of space.

alright, so my net seems to be fine. kenri - you want a list of summoners to decide on the anti-summon skill the fairy has? it does pretty much murder that entire niche (if it's something like 'no NEW summons...' then it doesn't hurt as bad for example), but i'll probably need to read through each one and figure out a general kind of placement for 'em. i think there's a summoner or two who doesn't completely rely on it at least...

Contestants fight on an iceberg roughly the size of a town, drifting over the ocean to god knows where. The iceberg itself is made of normal ice, though it does have an occupant, namely, a rather unfortunate polar bear. The iceberg is uneven, though generally speaking, the closer to the center, the higher the elevation. The Ice, when gone, is gone for good. Hope contestants don't need solid ground to fight, as the nearest solid land is miles away, and the water is very deep. The weather is wonky, as daytime is always sunny with nary a cloud, and nighttime is always a stormy blizzard. The ocean and sky are otherwise normal, and includes materials and lifeforms normally found there. Contestants start from opposite ends of the iceberg.

Powers Molecular Disruption Velencia has the ability to disrupt the molecular structure of biological objects. She can not change the composition, but instead deal massive damage to a living being at the smallest level. Like all of her abilities she must be able to touch her target for this to happen, but the effects are instant. It will be localized the areas she touches. Magic barriers provide a second worth of protection on average.
Body Link Upon touch of a nonliving object valencia can use it as an extension of her body and shape it at will. Her upper limit to how much she can control is about the size of a small house.
Special Bubble Valencia has a constant invisible "skin" around herself which allows her to change the properties of molecules around her without any ill effects on herself. The bubble can not be destroyed and is always active as a part of her.
Other Valencia can phase through objects if her body is in her normal form or a lighter mass. Valencia has the ability to breath without oxygen.
Add this to the existing information and consider her finished.

Here's my revision on SCP-1011, probably the final version unless anyone sees a problem.
SCP-1011 is a being of indeterminate origin. From original reports (see Document 1011-A), the creature appeared to be a small, malleable sphere of an as of yet unknown but mucous-like liquid. However, SCP-1011 has the ability to control machinery or metal around the same size as it. It can then cover itself with metal, and use the machinery for transportation. This material effectively becomes its new body, a shall of amalgamated parts. As its metal body grows, this size of materials SCP-1011 can use increases. The creature seems to care more about acquiring new machinery and metal then fighting, it stays relatively docile when not being attacked or fired upon.
SCP-1011 can discharge vast amounts of electrical energy from its body in a variety of different ways. Reports have described lightning bolts, large shock waves of energy, and even highly-focused beams of light. The power of these attacks increases as the mechanical body grows in size. The speed of SCP-1011 also grows as the creature gains body size and machines that can help it move. The current "form" of SCP-1011 (seen in the photograph above) is a full, modern passenger train for a body with various machines combined to form giant wings for flight. 1011 was able to fly and travel at approximately a high-speed rail train traveling at full speed. The creatures was lat seen on [////////], as it was flying over [///////], Europe. When SCP agents and portions of the world's military tried to secure SCP-1011, the resulting electrical attacks destroyed the countries of [DATA EXPUNGED], and resulted in the loss of [//]% of the world's population.
When SCP-1011 was originally found as the malleable ball, it was accidental left around Anomalous Material 456 before the nature of its metal-taking abilities were known. The ball is now encased in this metal, which has been shown to endure the relative pressure and power of [///] neutron bombs. The metal around SCP-1011 is also greatly increased in durability when it becomes a part of the being, but sustained blows from and ICBM assault as shown to tear at the metal body. Early testing shown the original ball to relatively low defensive or durability capabilities, removed from its metal it should be easy to restrain or eliminate if the need arises.

put groups of people into X categories based on where they fair against each other. they fight each other in the group. ??? end.
what ??? is, i've no idea. probably 2 at a time too or something, to avoid things getting too long. have no idea what the length would be yet as obviously there's a bunch of changes that could go on. one of the ideas the ??? could have depends on the earlier structure, but if you break it down so that two winners of a lower division can challenger a higher one, repeat. there's variety, though a lot of it will depend on how competitive this ought to be and how uh.. just matches by things done by B8 ought to be.
to that end, not everyone on the wiki would make it obviously, though most would. some standouts wouldn't for some reason or another (either there's nowhere to fit 'em, they don't result in good matches, they aren't really original - the same things said since the beginning basically). but that's the basic structure. without getting into terrains anyway. right now, unless i counted wrong, there are 39. would think a good 30 of 'em can make it without much problem. this isn't including stuff like V2s, where afterwards i could see about 40 entries.
each division having say... 6-8 would probably be enough. depends on the numbers anyway. time is a pain there. so long as all the characters in get their fair share of exposure or some tag teams can get made (hell, maybe establish a tag team division if enough people are interested in that), then it's probably fair.

Nah, for the most part it hasn't been hit with anything. I mean there's clear influences but most characters are pretty distinct. Like the obvious was not-magneto earlier on, but stuff like anti thesis is very much like anti spiral, though different enough to work with. Similar contestants on the other hand could be a problem. That though again doesn't affect much. Just the one really (snoop), and there's other problems there to make it not worth it (the most basic of which being drugs and GameFAQs aren't a good idea).

looked through and... yeah, we don't have any like that. the examples that come to mind are.... that random guy in YYH at the start of the sensui saga who Kurama beats. plays a letter + word game.
then there's stuff like FFTA's Judgemaster Cid. or the runes guy from Fairy Tail.

Alan Chang, Boy Genius [Final] Age: 21 Gender: Male
Alan Chang Boy Genius has a genius level intellect that grants him various powers, such as being incredibly smart and inventing lots of cool and rad things. He's sort of like Mr. Fantastic except smarter and not as stretchy. He probably wears glasses. Alan Chang Boy Genius mostly uses his power to stop evil doers but sometimes he just really wants some ice cream and he'll build a super robot to help him rob the ice cream story. He hails from Genius City where he is loved and respected by all. The funding for all of his research projects and to keep his lab operational comes from donations from wealthy citizens as well as endorsement deals.
Alan Chang Boy Genius has the following Inventions at his disposal:
Giant Robot - A 40m tall humanoid robot that strongly resembles Gigantor. It can shoot radiation from its eyes and be piloted remotely by Alan Chang Boy Genius, although it also includes a Pilder option which is basically a hover platform that locks right into the cockpit of the giant robot. It's much safer inside here and pilots just the same either way, so if he's trying to stay out of trouble he'll hide inside of Giant Robot.
Time Displacement Belt - Alan Chang Boy Genius can shoot himself backwards through time at super speeds that shatter all temporal compasses in a 50m radius. This ability has a range of about 12,000 miles. He can only shoot himself back in time a few seconds, although the time barrier that forms around him makes for an impressive looking and super deadly attack. For all purposes, it just looks like he's surrounded by this shiny time barrier and rushes at an enemy super fast.
Science Gun - The Science Gun can be used to shoot things and transform them into other things, such as transforming a dog into a dozen roses or transforming Eveny into a dog.
Alan Chang Boy Genius has the following powers at his disposal:
Super Genius - He is smarter than you, don't even try.
Make Inventions on the Fly - He has a portable laboratory that can be activated inside of the Pilder. While Giant Robot distracts enemies and fights them, Alan Chang Boy Genius can be hard at work in his lab making an invention to destroy the stupid foe. Hah, if only they had the foresight to be born smarter than him they would stand a chance!
Super Tsun - He is mean but he really loves you.
Super Endorsement - Alan Chang Boy Genius begins every morning with a hearty bowl of Genius-O's.
**** Aliens - Because most things on Earth can't ever hope to get on his level, alien invaders are frequently trying to invade Genius City and get at what he's got. Alan Chang is a master at dealing with aliens and dispatching them with his supreme intellect as a result of these experiences. Where most people would have a hard time dealing with strange and unfamiliar life forms and threats, Alan Chang Boy Genius's mind actually kicks it into overdrive and he ends up being even more effective against extraterrestrial and extradimensional foes.

Originally born as Cyluth de Prata, he was a student at the esteemed Harvard Magical Academy earning his Master's Degree in Magical Physics when an unfortunate accident befell him. Cyluth came from rather humble beginnings, and in order to pay for his education he was forced to take a job as a Professor's Assistant and was always doing odd jobs on the side to help fund his lifestyle. Even though he always seemed to be busy with work, his practical experience in the various fields of magic that stemmed from these tasks made him a very successful student. One week before he was supposed to graduate, a Witch who had a crush on him came to him with her confession. Cyluth turned her down. She promptly turned him into a lizard.
It was certainly an irresponsible use of her powers, as she happened to use a hex for which there was no cure. The girl was expelled, and Cyluth was not allowed to graduate in his condition. He stayed as a lizard with all of his memories and abilities, as well as his intellect, but lacking the ability to communicate with others and to not be a lizard. After a while he learned a spell that allows him to communicate telepathically with his fellows. Now he mostly helps out around the library, hoping to find a cure for his condition or that someone else would cure him.
Lizard is a master in Magical Physics, understanding the workings of the universal forces referred to as "Magic" on a fundamental level. He can understand and break down the processes behind any spell that he witnesses; Many magics that have 'simple' objectives can be mimicked after watching how they are done a single time. Spells that focus on destruction are especially easy to mimic since they are basically the brute force of the magical world. Even when Lizard is unable to mimic a spell, he'll usually be able to develop a counter-spell to neutralize that spell more efficiently -- If someone fires a spell that he cannot copy himself, he would be able to construct a counter spell on the fly that could be cast more quickly and require less mana expenditure than the original spell. Because Cyluth studied Magical Physics, he is uncomfortable with magic of "disorder" - things like curses, hexes, supernatural magics or abilities, and anything that is fueled by chaos and more difficult to predict or study mathematically.
Since he's a lizard, Cyluth is somewhat difficult to spot unless you're faily close or have great eyesight. He has incorporated an element of stealth into his combat style when needed. Generally, Cyluth views battles between other casters as a game. He will attempt to meet them in an open field and make an absolute joke out of them by flaunting his Harvard superiority and breaking down every spell they attempt to fire at him until they are totally worn down. If he senses someone has the power to seriously harm him, he'd do the same but while also pressing with offensive of his own; initiating a game of Magical Chess against his opponent where the first one to kill the opposing 'King' comes out the victor. However, if Cyluth feels his life is in danger he would not hesitate to use his lizard-ness to scurry away and hide before planning another route of attack.
One of his favorite spells gives him the ability to fly about at Mach 2, since he really hates how slow he moves as a lizard. Plus, with flight, it's easier to reposition himself on the battlefield without having to worry about height. Cyluth's magic tends to reflect his field of study, so most of his magic has to do with the fundamental laws of how magic operates in the universe. While a 'brute' would fling a simple fireball at their enemy, Cyluth would superheat the air with magically charged particles moving at rapid speeds and chain this into a column of superheated air at his opponent which would be much more difficult to detect until it was already melting their flesh off.
