Uhh

Anjori likes semi open spaces. She excels in the dark and oddly lit areas as she has a huge advantage in those situations. However her attacks can be more devastating and focused in closed spaces.

Xander has no real preferences...

Rangh in general likes open spaces. While sight is required for him to use one of his key abilities.

Because of the nature of her abilities, Valencia likes closed in spaces where she can use environmental factors to her benefit.

wiki updated on the character list and terrains to final versions. gotta see what to do/can be done with a couple of them (Meera especially comes to mind since ayuyu was a COWARD and bailed) but most are fine (e.g., Jeffery's group). if there's any mistakes there, feel free to say what.

also updated the contest format section to actually not be just empty space.


still need to put down the terrain preferences somewhere on the wiki.
still need to update the ___ by creators section.

you can also expect some minor editing of things along the way to try to consolidate some information for easier postings... though that can happen after i've got some pools goin'.

I actually wanted to make Giant Robot around Ideon sized (100m) but I had forgotten the exact size at the time I did the write-up. also that thing takes like 3 people minimum to pilot and even though Alan Chang is a genius I think if he had to pilot three control stations at once it wouldn't leave him any free time to actually work in the portable lab, so this level is probably for the better.

also I did a sketch of Keyuri not too long ago and I was going to upload it, except I ended up drawing chemistry notes all over it whoops

Tiers look pretty good. Some people in low that I'd probably put in middle, but eh. The Ambassador can definitely beat people, given the right terrain, I think. He's low tier without a doubt but yeah.

Some quick notes:

-In Solai's writeup you have "About her spells" prefacing the section with details about her weapons. <_<

-I think you missed Final Destination CAMPFC Edition, a terrain in post 353. Which is a shame because it is the best terrain.

<_<; Radmore basically is... either the smoke kills anything because of RUN AND HIDE or they.... are immune to it. which for all but 1 also puts them in the camp of "a dinky sword ain't gonna do anything because they aren't human".

unless you go to higher tiers anyway, in which case the RUN AND HIDE strategy doesn't even work on top of most of 'em being in the 'this sword isn't doing anything.'


end result, kinda leaves a bad spot. initially had a bottom tier with him and The Ambassador in there with 2 others, but it quickly became clear that when trying to break down the low tier that i... could not make a single good matchup because he's just not made for them.

i did indeed miss that terrain, despite the bold.
will fix the solai bit there. couple others prob have similar things needing to be changed (e.g., you'd think a Fusionist would mention Fusion stuff earlier, but i could always just have a link to that section specifically too).

curious, who'd you put in Middle? a lot of guys in Low match well to one another and Middle gets quite a bit over 'em. the dancer i can see in that category for example.

granted, i can't not think of her as being represented by Kimi Aoi, the dancing sister of the lead character in the Horizon anime.

Reading the ??? ones... Meera definitely sounds like Low, though her mind control gimmick is helpful against things with eyes.

Ika Tyranno's problem is determining bad cheesy effects. All of the Top and Upper are capable of doing it, I believe.

Antithesis really is N/A tier. It all depends on the opponent really.

Ahh, Jane and the Form of Nothingness out of nowhere. Then again, reminds me of Fate/Extra Assasin.

Oh, yeah, it's not on the list. Having trouble mapping it out though. Dunno whether ROTTA should be above or below the spaceship stage. And then there's Malevolum's countdown to destruction.

Jane has me wondering...

if Hyperorb was around, and she purposefully misses a series of punches and it's 2 feet away from her, what happens. terrain is flat. no problems or reasons why it would miss.

does like, the terrain suddenly explode to make it miss.
that's part of why you see her in the exhibition list with it, i genuinely couldn't figure out how the hell that worked - technically "it's still roling so it's just repeatedly attacking" works, but if you're too close to the point where that leaves you with just a continuous assault being dodged, well uh....

(there's other problems with her as was mentioned earlier, but yeah.)

Honestly I wasn't really thinking about how well they match with each other. <_<; In terms of just power I feel like D Money is too low, for one. Invisibility, modern firearms with no recoil, and the ability to summon endgame FF character equivalents should carry him over quite a few people. But yeah, if they match well with each other then that's probably more important than just power levels.

indeed, statue will! THE ENEMIES REUNITE. chick's got some massive durability to her, but she's slow. tradeoff of 'who can win on this one' for a decent amount of folk in that tier, and the one above has Hyperorb already so... who needs 2?

challenging between tiers never got fully fleshed out (it couldn't have), but the basic idea went this way:
If you go on a winning streak through your division, maybe you don't belong in that division. maybe you're too strong. thus, after X amount of wins, you'd challenge the biggest loser of the one above to see how that works. that way you can move up and down accordingly.

D Money in a higher tier also could work, the summons are the big question there. it DOES also allow for a D Money vs. Roman match early on. it also helps that everyone there is female. one man in an all girl division? i can dig it. especially if it's the Gangstamancer.

Ika technically has the parameters of someone deep, deep in top tier, possibly above it. then you get cheesy effects. no division does cheesy better than the Middle tier, especially if D Money and Roman are both there. she's really a case of 'goddamn squid kaiju makes me wish there was a shrimp terrain.' okay, that's unrelated. but it's a hilarious unrelated picture.
