If anyone's still interested in getting Samurai Warriors Chronicles, it's currently $14.50 at Best Buy.
It's not listed anywhere on their site, but it didn't seem like an individual store clearance, like there was no indicator that it was a manager discount, so it should be nation-wide.
just played through the rhythm thief demo - so short! - and the music is not good. at all. that's pretty important in a rhythm game. does the full game have a better selection of songs or is it more uninspired, uptempo jazz?

Platinum, actually. But I was planning on getting that, anyway. I was thinking of leaning toward one of those other fine things. But then... I kinda wanted to grab Majora's Mask, but it's technically only ten bucks. I should levitate toward something a bit rarer.

I was leaning toward the cards as well. They look great judging by that screenshot...
That'd rock, of course, icon! But drunk or sober, I think I'd doubt it either way. (I'm drunk at the moment, and if I doubt it even now, it's really unlikely.)

It's the cards for me. I dig that Skyward Sword poster, but the Luigi's Mansion and Kid Icarus posters are a bit lame. And I have the limited Zelda posters anyway.
Hopefully Nintendo took it down because they're adding another option, or allowing Platinum users the option for an item + a game. But I doubt it!
Oh, and picking up Majora's Mask isn't entirely useless if you have the Zelda Collection on GCN. VC games are playable on the Wii U, GCN discs are not!

yeah, the deck is fine. I don't really need to display Mario stuff anywhere, but still, maybe a larger set of the royal cards in addition would have been p. cool

Definitely getting the cards. I have enough Skyward Sword posters, and the Kid Icarus one is very meh. I mean, it's just the game's cover. The Luigi's Mansion one is decent, but still not great. Also, is this the first time we've heard its full title, "Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon?"
At least the cards look nice enough, though I very much would've preferred something like the pin set from last year.
Speaking of Smash, I tried out the demo build of Project M, some changes I don't really like, but overall it seemed pretty good. The most impressive part of it would be them actually changing some of the animations, like Snake now uses a knife for his forward smash, but I wish they got rid of his Claymore down smash.
And some of the changes seemed really arbitrary, like did they really had to change Falco's forward smash back to his kick from Melee? It's not like they can't make it work the same, it's like they couldn't get over how he is in Melee.
I also like how they threw in a Skyloft stage with Ballad of the Goddess playing in the background, and what goes on in the background is great, but the stage itself is really small, like it's literally just the top-left corner of Hyrule Temple.
Now if only they could add Kirby...

Only on GameFAQs would criticallly acclaimed PC games lose to niche JRPGs Go Us!
I thought the Project M was great overall, but it seems like my friend prefers regular Brawl because he's good at it, so we don't play it that much. Can't wait for more characters!

I don't think that I've touched my 3DS since beating MK7. I may have logged on once just to inform Haguile on AIM what his character looked like, but that's it.
Man, I don't like the 3DS d-pad. I'm not sure if it's the d-pad itself, or the position, but playing 2D games with it could really be better. It's not very comfortable.
Best fix on the 3DS XL is making the Home/Start/Select buttons actual buttons, as well as making the system more comfortable to hold! It's so much better designed than the regular 3DS, which I think is a real step down from the DSL. That extra space under the d-pad should make it better, too.
Not a fan of the d-pad either. It's responsive but I wish it was either softer or had slightly rounded edges. I often end up using the circle pad (which I like more than you) for most 2D games.
