As a person who almost exclusively plays RPGs, is Kid Icarus something I might enjoy? I've heard it has a lot of items/weapons and customization and whatnot, which kind of makes me think it sounds almost action RPG-ish. Is there anyone else that has similar tastes that's played it and liked it?

I like everything, so I can't really say for someone who's exclusively RPG

but story/characters stuff is pretty awesome as well as, like you said, weapons make it so you're getting better equipment as you progress through the game

The weapon fusion system is addicting. I've wasted so much time on that it's ridiculous. Then unlocking everything on the challenge board is just as good as doing a ton of side quests in an RPG I'd say.

Would he still appear if you didn't go on the 3DS on Wednesday?

Because I don't have internet at my house at the moment and I didn't bother to bring my 3DS when watching the 3DS conference at some place with free wi-fi.

I would think so. Stuff like Swapnote still ends up in your 3ds even if your 3ds isnt on at the time of delivery.

I have no idea why they make it so you can't send Special Miis to the Mii Maker without taking them out of the plaza... it doesn't do that for random people you streetpass =/

So yesterday I was at a Japanese supermarket that is somewhat close to where I live, because of a Japan Festival that was nearby it, and I actually Spotpassed with a lot of people there, a few of them playing Fire Emblem: Awakening.... Man am I glad that Reggie made that slip, but yay getting Japan on my region map.

Also I did get the Moffit Mii but stupidly put him in the Mii plaza right away, ah well at least all those Spotpasses made up for it.

And it was cool seeing seeing some Japanese gaming magazines even if it was just the cover of them, and apparently there's a Mario manga featuring 3D Land and it was like 44th volume of something.

I am almost on the 8th world of 3D Land and I have to admit that it's pretty damn awesome. It has so much influence/reference/whatever the correct term is from SMB3 and SMW

Cindy: Yes. What we said is that every game for the Wii U, and this is true for the Nintendo 3DS too, will be available in both packaged as well as digital. It’s really about choice. What I remember as a parent, I prefer the download because I won’t lose the disk. But some people thrive on [having the physical game], to each his own.

Indeed it is! He was originally going to sell it for $150 online, but would sell it to me for $130 if I were interested. I told him I'd think about it while looking around for any buyers around my area.

Told him a few days later that no one I knew wanted a 3DS, and mainly because he felt uncomfortable selling it to someone he didn't know (that's Craigslist for ya), he downed the offer to me for $100, a deal so good, my wife told me to take the offer.

My girlfriend was hesitant about picking up a 3DS until it went down in price even more unless the next batch of Pokemon games were right around the corner or Fire Emblem Awakening was announced for North American release. I convinced her to yield but then two weeks later we got news on Awakening, so that made things simpler too.
